🙇🏻 Jesus, Shepherd Your Sheep🐑 Micah 5:4, John 10:16, Jn 21:16, 1 Pet 5:2-4, Rev 7:17; ⛓️💥 Remember those in Chains, Hebrews 13:3, Col 4:18 -- Lord Jesus, thank You that not only do Your Sheep hear Your voice, Jn 10:27, but that You lead them out, and we don't listen to others, John 10:3-4, but only head Your voice and follow You, John 10:27, but that You care for us, Ps 23:3 Isa 40:11, Ezek 34:15, Rev 7:17. Take care of us, defend us, comfort and feed us on knowledge, Give Your angels charge over us and our fellow believers in spiritual battles, Ps 91:10-11, Heb 1:14. Strengthen our brothers and sisters, even shepherd the entire flock of God among us, 1 Pet 5:2, help us be on guard for ourselves and the flock of God among us from evil and warped wolves, Acts 20:28-29, by studying, obeying and teaching obedience to all Jesus commanded, Matt 28:20. Strengthen us and all in the faith with power and might through the Holy Spirit to know the dimensions of Your love, Eph 3:14-18. Be near those who are in need of deliverance, setting us free by just saying the Word, Matt 8:8, and draw us and all around us to Jesus. Especially draw those weary and heavy laden, that You might give them rest, Your yoke is easy and burden is light, so they find rest for their souls, Matt 11:28-30. Work everything out for the furtherance of the gospel, Phil 1:12.

🧎🏻Grant relief to the persecuted church like You did when the evil king began by laying hands on some who belonged to the church in order to mistreat them, had the Apostle James the brother of John the Beloved put to death with the sword, Acts 12:1-2, and give us testimonies like we have of the Apostle Peter's angelic release from prison in Acts 12:3-17 and the Apostles Paul and Silas' earthquake resulting in the conversion of the Philippian Jailer and his household in Acts 16:27-32. Hebrews 10:34. Help us sympathize with those in prison and joyfully accept the confiscation property, knowing that we ourselves have a better and permanent possession, Hebrews 10:34. Call and grant boldness give them visits, as Jesus said in Matthew 25:36, 'I was naked and you clothed Me, I was sick and you looked after Me, I was in prison and you visited Me.’

🙇🏻 Give grace to us all to purposely draw near to You, so You draw near to us, James 4:8. You are the vine, we are the branches; the one who remains in You, and You in them bears much fruit 🍇 for apart from You we can do nothing, Jn 15:5. We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us, Phil 4:13. Help us keep You holy in our hearts so as to be ready in season and out of season (at any time in any circumstance) to give an answer for the hope within us, with respect, so ungodliness glorifies God that it had a good witness before You returned, 1 Pet 3:15-16. Deliver us from evil people and the evil one, temptation and sin. 2 Thes 3:2-3, Matt 6:13, Luke 11:4, John 17:15. Let love abound more in knowledge and discernment so we can choose the best in every situation that gives us a choice, so we may be sincere and blameless until Your Son's return, being filled with the fruit of righteousness, which comes from union with Jesus Christ to the glory and praise of God, Phil 1:9-11. Thank You in Jesus' Name.

We lift our voices together in unity, calling upon the name of Jesus Christ, the Good Shepherd, who laid down His life for His sheep. Your heartfelt cry for the flock of God, both those persecuted and those facing spiritual battles, resonates deeply with us. We stand with you in prayer, lifting up the body of Christ worldwide, that they may be strengthened, protected, and led by the voice of their Shepherd.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for being our Shepherd, the One who leads us beside still waters and restores our souls (Psalm 23:2-3). You are the Great Shepherd of the sheep, who laid down Your life for us and rose again to equip us with everything good for doing Your will (Hebrews 13:20-21). We ask that You would shepherd Your people with tenderness and power, defending them from the schemes of the enemy and comforting them in times of trial. Strengthen those who are weary, deliver those who are oppressed, and fill every believer with the knowledge of Your love, which surpasses understanding (Ephesians 3:18-19).

Lord Jesus, we remember our brothers and sisters who are persecuted and imprisoned for their faith. We ask that You would grant them boldness to testify of Your name, even in the face of suffering (Acts 4:29-31). As You miraculously freed Peter from prison and shook the foundations of the jail where Paul and Silas were held, we pray for divine intervention in the lives of those who are bound for Your sake. May their chains be broken, and may their testimonies bring glory to Your name (Acts 12:5-17, 16:25-34). Give us hearts of compassion to remember them, pray for them, and support them as if we were suffering alongside them (Hebrews 13:3).

We also pray for the flock of God to be vigilant against the wolves that seek to devour (Acts 20:29). Lord, raise up faithful shepherds who will care for Your people with humility and godly fear, not lording over them but being examples to the flock (1 Peter 5:2-3). Guard our hearts from deception, and help us to remain steadfast in Your Word, so that we may recognize and resist false teaching (Matthew 24:24). May we be rooted and built up in Christ, strengthened in the faith as we have been taught (Colossians 2:6-7).

Father, we ask that You would draw near to us as we draw near to You (James 4:8). Help us to abide in You, the True Vine, so that we may bear much fruit for Your kingdom (John 15:4-5). Fill us with the power of the Holy Spirit, that we may walk in love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). May our lives be a testimony to Your grace, so that when others see us, they see Christ living in us (Galatians 2:20).

We pray for those who are weary and heavy-laden, that they would come to You and find rest for their souls (Matthew 11:28-30). Lord, You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We ask that You would work all things together for the furtherance of the gospel, even in the midst of persecution and hardship (Philippians 1:12). May Your name be glorified in every circumstance, and may Your kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would deliver us from evil and the evil one. Protect us from temptation and sin, and keep us blameless until the day of Your return (1 Thessalonians 5:23-24). May our love abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that we may discern what is best and live lives that are pure and blameless for Your glory (Philippians 1:9-11). We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.

Your prayer covers so much ground, shepherding, deliverance, boldness, the persecuted church, and drawing near to Jesus. We felt the weight of your care for the whole flock, and we want to sit with you in that rather than rush past it. It is good to bring these longings to God, not because He needs reminding, but because the very act centers our own hearts back on what He is already doing.

One of the things that stood out to us was your desire for believers to be on guard for one another, to visit the imprisoned, and to strengthen each other. That kind of mutual care rarely happens in isolation. In our own life together, we have seen how small groups become the soil where these prayers take root, places where people learn to pray aloud for the first time, where someone shows up at the hospital before family even arrives, and where the persecuted are remembered by name week after week. If you are not already part of such a group, that could be a simple, concrete step that allows your prayer to spill into action. Gathering regularly with a few others to pray through Scripture, to lift up the suffering church, and to look out for one another’s spiritual wellbeing is a way of living what you have prayed.

We also hear your heart for those weary and heavy laden. Carrying a burden for so many needs, angels, deliverance, the furtherance of the gospel, can itself become heavy. Remember that you are one of the sheep He carries close. You are not the shepherd; you are one who follows His voice. So let His easy yoke hold you up even as you pray.

Jesus, thank you for this friend who longs for your flock to be safe, free, and united. Tighten our bonds with one another. Give us practical ways to remember the prisoners and comfort the weary. And as you shepherd us, remind each of us that we are carried, not just commanded. In Jesus’ name.

There is a word here that drops into the deeps of the soul and finds no bottom, "I know My sheep." He owns them, and for His people were those prayers on the cold mountain side at night, the weary journeys, the hunger and the thirst. But in the same moment, the Great Shepherd fell; in slaying our foe He had, Himself, been slain! Yet He shall feed His flock like a shepherd: He shall gather the lamb with His arms, and carry them in His bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young. And if through backslidings you have wandered far from Him, He perceives you with those eyes which see in the dark as well as in the light, and He will follow after you and bring you back.

As to threatened persecution, pray in defiance of it. Remember how Daniel opened his window and prayed to his God as he had done before? Let the God of Daniel be your God in the chamber of prayer and He will be your God in the lions' den! Do you not sometimes rise from your knees and say, "I do not think I have prayed, I could not feel at home in prayer"? Nine times out of every ten, those prayers are most prevalent with God which we think are the least acceptable. When the soul drags heavily in devotion, perhaps it might more safely refrain from prayer than at those seasons when it leaps and exults; then come back, my heart, and drag yourself by force of Divine Grace!

Read the stories of the Albigenses, the Waldenses in the valleys of Piedmont, the Lollards in England, they were torn asunder, made to rot in prison. Remember those that are in bonds as bound with them, and those that are in trouble, knowing that you yourselves also are yet in the body. If the good cause seemed in danger, in the Presence of his Master victory was sure! The Lord, who had stood for him at the Cross, now stands by His suffering ones in the prison. There is no fear in love; perfect love casts out fear, because fear has torment.

Oh, to follow in the footsteps of the Lord Jesus Christ, step by step, it is in such ways that angelic protection will be afforded to us. God would sooner empty Heaven of all the angelic host, cherubim and seraphim included, than allow any one of His people who has walked in His ways to suffer defeat. Whether we are alone or in company, let us not sin because angels are always watching us. And remember, the angels' Lord is also watching us!

The rougher the road, the sweeter the rest, and the greater the suffering the brighter the crown at the last. For those who are in a worse condition than others there is hope and light. It has such joy in it that misery itself ought to leap with holy mirth at the sound of it. He abideth for ever in His Melchizedek priesthood, and in the power of an endless life. They shall not depart from Me, the salvation of those in covenant is provided for by an absolute promise of the omnipotent God, which must be carried out. May the Lord visit you with His saving health, and give to the saddest of you joy and peace in believing.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You pray earnestly for the Shepherd to lead His flock and for boldness in chains. This is good: the sheep indeed hear His voice, and He calls them by name and leads them out. But I ask you, do you listen to His voice alone? Do not suppose that hearing is enough, unless you follow where He goes. He leads you out from the love of riches, from the praise of men, from every worldly care. The sheep follow the Shepherd, not the other way around, and He goes before them into danger, into poverty, into chains. Are you ready to be led there? For poverty, more than wealth, produces boldness. The rich man is a slave, dragging many ropes, easily caught by every fear of loss. But the one who has nothing stands naked and free, fearing neither confiscation nor fine. If poverty made men cowardly, Christ would not have sent His disciples with nothing to a work requiring great boldness.

You ask that we be given boldness, and that is the very prayer of the blessed Paul when he was an ambassador in chains. Note how he did not pray to be released, but asked that utterance might be given him to open his mouth boldly. His bonds gave him greater freedom of speech. So it is with all the saints: when they were in great perplexity, they spoke with gladness and confidence, while their persecutors were covered with shame and fear. This is the true boldness, not the audacity of Shimei cursing David, but the courage of Elijah reproving Ahab or of John the Baptist before Herod, speaking the truth without flattery.

Therefore, while you pray for the persecuted, remember that their chains are not the worst prison. The present life is nothing better than a prison, and if you look into the soul of each person, you will see chains more grievous than iron. Especially the rich are bound with countless fetters of gold and affairs, and a cruel jailor, the wicked love of riches, makes them feel pleasure in their bonds so that they do not even seek deliverance. But the chains of Christ’s witnesses are different: they are a bridle that restrains only the flesh, while the spirit speaks boldly. Pray that a door may be opened for the word, that they and we may speak the mystery of Christ as we ought, withholding nothing.

You mention Peter’s angelic release and the earthquake in the jail. Yes, the Lord granted relief then, but often He does not remove the outward chains. Instead, He gives inward freedom, and joyfully accept the confiscation of your property, knowing that you yourselves have a better and lasting possession. The apostles rejoiced that they were counted worthy to suffer dishonor for the Name. Do not merely pray for deliverance from evil men and the evil one; pray even more that in chains we may make the gospel known with all boldness.

Therefore, let us draw near to God with a sincere heart, and break the inward chains by repentance. Let us be on guard for the flock, not as wolves who scatter, but as shepherds who feed with knowledge and do not flee at the sight of the wolf. The true Shepherd had compassion on the people because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. If you desire to shepherd others, begin with your own soul: strip off every weight, so that you may follow the Shepherd wherever He goes. Then, being filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ, you will be sincere and blameless, and your boldness will not be audacity but a shining city set on a hill, which cannot be hidden.

So pray without ceasing for all the saints, and for me also, that we may speak boldly. And while you pray, go forth and live in such a way that your chains become a testimony and your poverty a platform for the gospel, until the chief Shepherd appears and wipes away every tear.
