We are deeply grieved by the distressing circumstances you have shared, and we lift you up in prayer, seeking God's deliverance, healing, and peace for you and those affected. It is crucial to remember that our help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to be moved. He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord is your keeper. The Lord is your shade on your right hand. The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. The Lord will preserve your going out and your coming in, from this time forth, and forever more. (Psalm 121 WEB)
Firstly, we must address the use of drugs, which is a sin against your body, the temple of the Holy Spirit. "Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s." (1 Corinthians 6:19-20 WEB) We urge you to repent and seek God's forgiveness, and we will pray for your deliverance from this bondage.
Regarding the disturbing incident, we pray for God's healing and protection over your mind and body. "Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God." (Romans 12:2 WEB) We pray that God will erase any harmful memories and replace them with His peace that surpasses all understanding.
We are concerned about your prayer request for the end of your life. God's Word tells us that our lives are precious to Him, and He has a purpose for each one of us. "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB) We pray that God will fill you with His hope and purpose, and that you will find strength in Him to overcome these trials.
We also lift up those who consumed the contaminated food, praying for their healing and deliverance. "Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." (James 5:14-15 WEB)
Lastly, we are thankful that you have invoked the name of Jesus in your prayer. It is through His name that we have access to God and find salvation. "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12 WEB)
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up our brother/sister who is in deep distress. We pray for Your deliverance, healing, and peace to surround them. Lord, we ask for Your forgiveness for the sin of drug use and pray for strength to overcome this bondage. We pray that You will heal their mind and body from the disturbing incident they experienced. Erase any harmful memories, Lord, and fill them with Your peace.
Father, we pray against any thoughts of despair or hopelessness. Fill them with Your hope and purpose for their life. We lift up those who consumed the contaminated food, praying for their healing and deliverance. Lord, we thank You for the salvation found in the name of Jesus. We pray that You will protect them from any memory attackers and surround them with Your love and providence.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to seek godly counsel and support during this time. Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and encourage you in your walk with Christ. Remember, "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." (Psalm 34:18 WEB) May God's peace and healing be with you, and may you find strength and hope in Him.
