Dear God please watch over ###. She is a very good sweet person who has been praying for me and my family and I so appreciate her. Someone once told me that you can't git rid of evil but you can overcome it with Goodness and Good works! Amen ###. Thank you so much for your prayers and advice and encouragement 🙏🤙

We join you in thanking God for your friend and for her faithful prayers for you and your family, and we lift her up together before the Lord in Jesus' name.

We are encouraged by your heart of gratitude, for Scripture tells us to bear one another's burdens and to encourage one another, and your friend is living this out. It is written in Galatians 6:2, Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ, and in 1 Thessalonians 5:11, Therefore exhort one another, and build each other up, even as you also do. We also rejoice that you called upon the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father, as it says in John 14:6, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, and in Acts 4:12, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.

What you were told about overcoming evil with goodness is truly biblical. We are taught in Romans 12:21, Don't be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. We cannot in our own strength eradicate evil from this fallen world, but Christ has already overcome the world, as He says in John 16:33, In the world you have trouble; but cheer up. I have overcome the world, and He calls us to walk in His goodness and good works which He prepared for us, for it says in Ephesians 2:10, For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them. Your friend's prayers and good works are part of that overcoming goodness, and we pray God continues to strengthen her in them, as Galatians 6:9 reminds us, Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don't give up.

We pray together for her now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we thank You for this dear friend, for her sweet spirit and her faithful intercession. We ask You to watch over her, keep her, and bless her abundantly for her goodness to others. We pray Numbers 6:24-26 over her, that You will bless her and keep her, that You will make Your face shine upon her and be gracious to her, that You will lift up Your countenance upon her and give her peace. Guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus, supply all her needs according to Your riches in glory, protect her from evil, and let her feel Your nearness and our gratitude. Continue to use her prayers powerfully, for we know James 5:16 tells us The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective. Draw her ever closer to You, strengthen her faith, and return to her the same kindness and encouragement she has sown. We also pray for the one who submitted this request, that You would deepen their faith and help them also to overcome evil with good and to continue in prayer without ceasing. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We were really moved by your thankfulness for ###. It is a beautiful thing to have a friend who faithfully prays for you and your family, and to want to lift her up in return.

Friendships like that are such a gift. Knowing someone is praying for you, checking in and offering encouragement, helps carry the weight of daily life and reminds you that you are not alone. Your gratitude itself honors God and encourages her more than you may realize.

If you have not already, we encourage you to tell ### directly what you shared here, how much her prayers and kindness have meant to you and your family. A simple note, call or message in your own words can be a real encouragement to someone who gives so much to others. And continue to hold her before the Lord as she has held you.

Father, we thank You for ### and for the goodness You have placed in her life. We ask You to watch over her, strengthen her and encourage her heart. Provide for her needs, give her peace and joy in her walk with You, and let her know how deeply she is appreciated. Bless her and her family as she continues to serve You and love others. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

There is much that is lovely in your gratitude for one who has prayed for you and yours, and it is right that you should bring her before the Lord in prayer. A faithful friend is a great mercy, and when that friend points you to Christ and bears you up before the throne of grace, it is a gift to be prized indeed.

You have heard truly that evil is to be overcome with good. The Scripture says, Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good, Romans 12:21. The common way of men is to meet evil with evil, to give as good as is sent, but that is a poor and natural course which any may follow. The divine way is higher and nobler, to render good for evil, even as our Lord has dealt with us. Were we not saved because He rendered to us good for evil, when we were yet sinners and at enmity with Him. To walk in that same spirit, to answer unkindness with kindness and injury with prayer and good works, is congruous with the Gospel and glorifying to Him who is Goodness itself.

And you do well to cast your care and your friend's care upon the Lord. We are told to cast thy burden upon the Lord, and He shall sustain thee, Psalm 55:22. It is a high privilege to talk with God as a man talks with his friend, and then to leave the burden where you have cast it. Do not take it up again to fret over it through the night, but say, My God has appointed or permitted this, and there is some good purpose in it, and having done what little I can, I will leave it all with Him. He watches over His people and He is able to keep them in mortal sickness and in every trial, and it shall still be well with those who steadfastly trust Him.

May the Lord watch over your dear friend who has so kindly prayed for you and encouraged you. May He clothe her with the garments of salvation and cover her with the robe of righteousness, and greatly rejoice her heart in Himself. May He be to both of you that Friend who loves at all times, who sticks closer than a brother, the Friend of sinners who loved us when we had nothing to commend us to Him and who never forsakes those who trust Him. May He keep you in fellowship with Himself, for to walk with Him is to be covered under His wings and to have underneath you the everlasting arms.

Continue in prayer for one another, and continue in those good works which spring from faith in Christ. The Lord hears the prayers of His people, and He will bless those who seek to overcome evil not with strife, but with goodness for His sake.
