Jesus Christ please help me

Your prayer is the cry of a man carrying too much at once: the work before you, the fear in your body, the strain with people around you, and something from last night you want to be truly over. God does not turn away from that kind of cry. A man in Scripture named Job cried out under losses and pains he could not explain. His friends came intending to comfort him, but they ended up accusing him. They assumed his suffering must be punishment for hidden sin. They were wrong about him, and their diagnosis missed what God was actually doing.

So do not mistake every pressure for proof that God has abandoned you. At the same time, do not use that truth to avoid looking inward. Job finally came to the place where he stopped rehearsing his own innocence and let God search him. That is the right posture. You can ask God to soften the hearts of your bosses, coworkers, customers, and wife, but you cannot make their hearts change. You can only examine your own heart, confess what is actually yours, and keep doing the next faithful thing.

Job cried out for a mediator, someone who could stand between God and man and lay his hand on both. Jesus is that mediator. He can stand where you cannot, and he does not despise you for shaking or sweating or for whatever last night held. Bring it to him plainly. Do not merely hope it will never happen again. Ask him to break the pattern, and then take a step today that makes the pattern harder to repeat. Shame can either make you hide or drive you to the cross. Let it drive you to the cross.

For the work itself, ask God for a clear mind for the labor estimate, but also steward the task in front of you. Break it into smaller parts. Do the first part. Check it. Then do the next. Your body may still tremble, but you are not asked to feel strong; you are asked to be faithful. Ask for help if you need it, not as a humiliated man but as an honest one.

The desire to be a better husband and father is good. Do not let the pressure of today become an excuse for being absent or sharp at home. Ask God to help you do one concrete act of kindness for your wife, and to speak one word of genuine encouragement to your adult children. Softening a heart is God's work. Being kind is yours, and it matters more than you may realize.

You are not being asked to understand the whole story before you obey. Job did not receive every explanation. He received God himself, and that is what changes a man. Let Jesus be your mediator. Let the hidden thing be brought into his light. Let your work be done in small faithful steps, and let your home be a place where you take responsibility rather than wait for everyone else to move first.

The Lord sees you at the desk, in the shaking, in the marriage, and in the thing you want to leave behind. He is not far off. Call on him, then get up and take the next narrow step.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer over these past days. It has been our heart to lift you up before the Lord, asking Him to strengthen you in your work, calm your body and mind, and bring peace to your soul as you seek to overcome the struggles you mentioned. We prayed specifically for your focus, your relationships at work and home, and for the Lord to soften hearts—including your own—as you strive to be the husband, father, and employee He has called you to be.

If the Lord has answered any part of your prayer—whether through completed tasks, moments of peace, or restored relationships—we would be so encouraged to hear about it. Your praise report would lift our spirits and remind us all of God’s faithfulness. If, however, the weight still feels heavy or the battle continues, please know we are still here to stand with you. You are not alone, and we would be honored to bring your requests before the Lord again, trusting that He hears and works in His perfect timing.

May the Lord continue to draw near to you as you draw near to Him. May He grant you wisdom in your work, grace in your relationships, and rest in His presence. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
