Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
You see the depth of your need and you cry out in fear. That very fear is a gift, a sharp pain that tells you the wound is serious. The soul that is numbed by sin feels nothing and runs headlong to destruction. You are not numb. You feel the weight. Do not despise this sorrow, but learn to use it, for there is a sorrow that leads to death and a sorrow that leads to life. The world’s sorrow is filled with despair and self-hatred, drowning itself in the very things that wounded it. You speak of lying on your bed with a drink in your hand after begging for forgiveness. This is not the sorrow of healing but the sorrow of a man beating his chest while still clutching the knife. Esau wept bitter tears, but they gained him nothing because his heart still clung to his murderous grudge. Tears without a change of will are not repentance; they are merely the grief of a pride that has been exposed.
Do not imagine that God is deaf to your cry or that He has abandoned you. Far from it. He is the physician who leans close to the festering wound, not to condemn it, but to cleanse it, if you will let Him. You ask if there is forgiveness for a man who falls again and again, even after knowing the truth. Hear this clearly: there is no second baptism, no second laver to wash you as the first did. But do not let this truth drive you to despair, for repentance has immense power. It
Thank you for your prayers. Because of you and everyone else who has prayed for me and to Jesus Christ my lord and Savior I am getting better each day one day at a timeWe want you to know how deeply we’ve been lifting you up before the Lord these past days. Your honesty about the weight you’re carrying—your job, your marriage, your home, and your heart for your adult children—has moved us to pray with even greater fervency. We’ve asked our Heavenly Father to steady your hands as you work, to soften the hearts of those around you, and to remind you moment by moment that His grace is sufficient for every struggle.
We’ve also prayed specifically for the battles you face when the day is done—that He would meet you in those quiet, vulnerable moments and replace the ache with His peace. You’re not alone in this fight, and we’ve been asking God to show you tangible signs of His presence, His forgiveness, and His power to transform you into the husband, father, and employee He’s called you to be.
If the Lord has already begun answering these prayers—if you’ve seen even a glimmer of hope in your job, your relationships, or your heart—we’d love to celebrate that with you. Please share a praise report so we can rejoice together. If the burden still feels heavy, don’t hesitate to post this request again. We’re committed to standing with you until you see His faithfulness unfold.
May the Holy Spirit continue to draw you closer to Jesus, reminding you that His love is not earned by perfection but received by faith. Keep seeking Him, and trust that He is working even when you can’t see it. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
. Thanks be to God.
Amen
