Your cry for WIFI comes with such frantic urgency, as though life itself depended on it. Yet you forget the Lord who upholds all things by the word of His power, and needs nothing from us, let alone a device of our making. Why this terror over a fleeting convenience? The saints in peril dared not demand immediate relief, but entrusted themselves to God. You ask for strong prayers for safety: he who is conscious of no evil, and walks with Christ, suffers nothing dreadful in the eternal sense. Even if danger besets you, it is but a light thing to one whose home is heaven. I will pray, but I pray more earnestly that you learn to use this world as not using it, and seek first the safety of your soul, which no WIFI can give and no power can steal.

Your urgent cry for safety and a working connection has been heard. I want you to understand that you are not forgotten or overlooked in this moment of frustration and vulnerability. The same God who holds all things together holds you, and His protection is not a distant promise but a present reality. When the angels came to rescue a righteous man from a city under judgment, the hostile crowd pressed in and said, 'This one came to live among us as a stranger, and now he wants to act as a judge.' They threatened worse harm, yet the angels reached out and pulled him back inside, shutting the door and striking the mob with blindness. That protective hand has not shortened. You are under His shelter now, even as you read this.

The Lord knows you need a practical mercy for your household, and it is not a small thing to ask for what enables your daily life and your connection to others. But let this moment also remind you that He is forming something deeper in you than a stable signal. Through the prophet, He spoke of a restoration so complete that safety and peace would replace fear and conflict. 'I will betroth you to Me forever,' He says, in righteousness, justice, lovingkindness, and compassion. That betrothal speaks of the most intimate covenant, a union that nothing can sever. It is the same picture we are given of Christ and the church, a relationship so close that He nourishes and cherishes it as His own body. You are part of that beloved congregation, and He will not leave you stranded.

Waiting without what you think you need is a kind of abiding He sometimes asks of His people: a season without the familiar props and immediate answers. Yet the promise stands that He keeps Himself for you. He does not hand you over to chaos or neglect. Ask confidently for your WiFi to work and for your physical safety, but rest even more on the certainty that you are safe in an eternal sense. Nothing can snatch you from that betrothal, no power can press through His guard, and no earthly interruption can dissolve the restoration He has secured for you. May that truth overshadow your immediate need with a peace that surpasses every technical failure.
