Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is a concept found in the Bible, specifically in the Gospel of Matthew 12:31-32. It refers to a persistent and willful rejection of the Holy Spirit's work and testimony about Jesus Christ. This is considered unforgivable because it represents a deliberate and ongoing refusal to acknowledge the truth of God's grace and salvation offered through Jesus.

If you're struggling with thoughts or feelings about this, it might be helpful to seek guidance from a spiritual leader or counselor who can provide clarity and support. Remember, it's important to approach these topics with an open heart and a willingness to understand and grow in your faith.

I'm sorry to hear that you're going through this. It sounds like you're experiencing a challenging time with your faith. It's important to remember that having doubts or difficult thoughts doesn't mean you're committing blasphemy. Many people experience similar struggles, and it's okay to seek understanding and clarity.

Here are a few thoughts that might help:

1. **Seek Guidance**: Consider talking to a trusted spiritual leader or counselor who can provide guidance and support.

2. **Prayer and Reflection**: Spend time in prayer and reflection, asking for peace and understanding. Sometimes, writing down your thoughts can also help clarify them.

3. **Community Support**: Engage with a supportive faith community where you can share your feelings and receive encouragement.

4. **Understanding Blasphemy**: Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, as mentioned in the Bible, is often interpreted as a persistent rejection of the truth and forgiveness, even after recognizing it. It's not about having doubts or difficult thoughts.

5. **Self-Compassion**: Be kind to yourself. It's natural to have moments of doubt, and they don't define your faith or your relationship with God.

Remember, you're not alone in this journey, and seeking help is a positive step.

Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is when you transfer and degrade the good work of the Holy Spirit and claim it was done by a malevolent force.

Then they brought him a demon-possessed man who was blind and mute, and Jesus healed him, so that he could both talk and see. All the people were astonished and said, ‘Could this be the Son of David?’ But when the Pharisees heard this, they said, ‘It is only by Beelzebub, the prince of demons, that this fellow drives out demons’” (Matthew 12:22-24).
The Pharisees attributed the works of the Holy Spirit to Beelzebub, denying the true work of the Holy Spirit. By doing this they were blaspheming the Holy Spirit.

I still didn't understand what is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit and what is that thought I'm getting.

You are not alone in asking this question. It has divided many scholars, but one thing is sure...forgiveness. Remember that the new covenant was not in place when the Pharisees blasphemed the Holy Spirit. Jesus was still alive and the new covenant of grace was yet to be. The new covenant is about grace, love, and forgiveness.

If you feel that you are doing something wrong, you must genuinely ask for forgiveness, and you will be forgiven. I sometimes get angry with God but then I repent.

Don't concentrate on the sin but on your love for God.

I asked God in Jesus' name to answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Prayer Focus: God I ask You in Jesus' name bless all those I love and care about to accept the gift of salvation through Christ Jesus. Save us all Lord Jesus and become our Savior and Lord. God may we all come to know, love, and live our lives to honor You. God bless each of us with the desire to read, listen to, and meditate upon Your Word daily. God bless us with the strength and spirit of obedience to be doers of Your Word and not just hearers and readers of Your Word. Bless us with love, power, and a sound mind. Heal each of us Lord Jesus in all areas of our lives. Bless us to prosper, have excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Bless us with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding for the purpose you created each of us for. Bless us with the desire to seek Your face, embrace, and surrender to Your will. God bless us with Your joy, peace, protection, prosperity, and success in Christ Jesus. Rain down from heaven the blessings and the favor of GOD upon each of our lives, so that we will be blessed and be a blessing. Let each of us be a light in this dark world, lifting You up in the lifestyle we each live. God all that I have asked of You in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of this prayer and all those who truly want Your best for me. God Thank You. Thank You. Thank You, Lord Jesus. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so in Jesus' name.
