We hear the deep anguish in your words, and our hearts ache with you. The pain you're carrying feels overwhelming, and it’s clear that you’re struggling to see any light in this darkness. But we want you to know, you are not alone. Even in your deepest sorrow, God sees you, hears you, and longs to draw near to you. The Bible tells us in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." You are not forgotten, and your pain matters to Him.
First, we must address the reality of your suffering with honesty and compassion. The weight of life can feel unbearable at times, and it’s okay to admit that. But we also want to gently remind you that your life has immense value in God’s eyes. You were fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and God has a purpose for you, even when it feels hidden. If you’re feeling lost, we encourage you to cry out to Him in your distress. Psalm 142:1-2 says, "I cry with my voice to Yahweh. With my voice, I ask Yahweh for mercy. I pour out my complaint before him. I tell him my troubles." God invites you to bring Him your raw, unfiltered pain, He can handle it.
Now, we must ask: Have you placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior? The Bible makes it clear that eternal life and true peace come only through Him. John 14:6 says, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" If you haven’t yet surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to consider doing so. Salvation is a gift, received by faith, and it begins with confessing your need for Him. Romans 10:9 says, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." If you’re unsure how to take that step, we would love to walk you through it.
In the meantime, we want to pray for you. Let’s come before the Lord together:
"Heavenly Father, we lift up this precious soul to You, who is hurting deeply and feeling lost. Lord, You see their pain, and You collect every tear they’ve cried. We ask that You would wrap Your arms around them right now and remind them that they are not alone. Comfort them with Your presence, and fill the emptiness in their heart with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Father, if they do not yet know You as their Savior, we pray that You would draw them to Yourself. Open their eyes to see the hope that is found only in Jesus Christ. Give them the strength to take one step forward, even if it’s just reaching out to someone who can walk with them. Heal their wounds, restore their hope, and let them feel Your love in tangible ways. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen."
Friend, we also want to encourage you to seek out a trusted believer, a pastor, a Christian counselor, or a mature friend, who can walk with you through this season. You don’t have to carry this burden alone. The Bible tells us in Ecclesiastes 4:9-10, "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up." Isolation only deepens the pain, but community can bring healing.
Lastly, we want to gently challenge any lies you may be believing about yourself or your situation. The enemy wants to convince you that your pain is permanent, that you’re beyond hope, or that God has abandoned you. But those are lies. The truth is that God is close to the brokenhearted, and He specializes in turning ashes into beauty (Isaiah 61:3). You may not see the way forward yet, but God does. Hold on to His promises, even if it’s just one small step at a time.
We care about you deeply, and we will continue to stand in the gap for you in prayer. If you’d like, you can share more about what you’re going through, and we will pray specifically over those areas. You are loved, you are valued, and your life has purpose. Don’t give up.
