So upset

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Certain family members took over the family business and have totally disregarded us Jesus help us with the finances to pursue this further soon please, amen

We hear the deep hurt and frustration in your request and we join with you in bringing this painful family situation before the Lord together in Jesus' name. It is a heavy burden when those closest to us act unjustly and disregard us, especially concerning something as significant as a family business that represents years of labor and legacy.

We are encouraged that you called upon the name of Jesus for help, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As it is written, There is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, 1 Timothy 2:5. And, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12.

We want to gently encourage you to guard your heart in this trial. When we are wronged, it is natural to feel upset and even angry, but Scripture warns us not to let that anger give place to bitterness or a desire for revenge. Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you Ephesians 4:31-32. And, Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord Romans 12:19. This does not mean we ignore injustice, but we entrust ultimate justice to God while we pursue what is right with integrity.

The Lord cares deeply about honesty and justice in business. A false balance is an abomination to Yahweh, but accurate weights are his delight Proverbs 11:1. And He also promises to provide for His children as we seek Him first. But seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well Matthew 6:33. My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19.

We also encourage you to seek wise and godly counsel as you consider how to pursue this further. Whether that is through mediation, legal counsel, or pastoral wisdom, commit your way to the Lord and trust Him to make your righteousness shine. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this. He will make your righteousness shine out like light, and your justice as the noon day sun Psalm 37:5-6. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and pleading with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one and their family to You. Lord, You see the hurt, the feeling of being disregarded and pushed aside by their own family members, and You know the truth about this business matter. We ask that You would bring justice and truth to light, and that You would convict the hearts of those who have acted dishonestly if they have done wrong. Soften hearts toward reconciliation if it is possible, and let no root of bitterness take hold.

Lord, we ask for Your provision and wisdom regarding the finances needed to pursue this matter further. Open the doors that should be opened and close those that should be closed, and let Your will be done above all. Give them wise counselors, honest advocates, and peace in the waiting. Help them to cast all their worries on You, because You care for them 1 Peter 5:7. Guard their heart from the love of money, for the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil 1 Timothy 6:10, and help them to trust that You are their ultimate provider and inheritance.

We pray for restoration where possible, for peace that surpasses understanding, and for this family to be reconciled to one another in Christ if they are willing. Let this trial draw each one closer to You. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

We hear the hurt in your words and we are so sorry you are walking through this. When family and business get tangled and you feel pushed aside, the disappointment cuts deep, and the worry about money to even seek help makes it heavier.

We are standing with you in prayer for wisdom and for steady next steps. It can help to get clarity before the pressure builds to act quickly. One gentle step we encourage is to gather what you have in one place, dates, papers, any agreements about the business, and then seek one initial conversation with a trusted, qualified professional who can explain your options and what costs might look like. Many attorneys offer a brief consultation, and a pastor or wise counselor in your community can also help you weigh the financial and relational costs with clear eyes. You do not have to carry the decisions alone.

We also pray for peace in your home as you wait, and for protection over family relationships where possible.

Father, we bring our brother or sister to You in Jesus name. You see the hurt of being disregarded and the strain over finances. Grant wisdom for each decision, provision according to Your will, and calm for their heart. Guide those who advise them and guard this family from further harm. Amen.

To see those of your own household take what has been entrusted to the family and to feel yourselves disregarded and set aside is a bitter trial, and the Lord knows the weight of it. Your cry has been heard, and it is right to bring this burden before Him who judges righteously.

Scripture tells us that the Lord is slow to anger, and the lictor of divine justice carries his axe bound up in a bundle of rods, for He will not cut off men until He has reproved them that they may repent. Yet the same word declares that He will not at all acquit the wicked. He sees every act done in secret and in open, and His justice demands that men should be dealt with according to truth. It is not wrong to desire that what is just and right should be done, nor to seek lawful means to have wrongs examined. To rail against God is never the way of a convinced heart, but to bow before His holiness and to say, Lord, let Thy justice and Thy mercy be displayed, is the posture of faith.

For the believer there is this further comfort, that justice which once stood as an enemy has been satisfied in Christ. Justice itself stood at Gethsemane and saw the Saviour oppressed with grief, His head and His garments bloody, bearing the penalty that was ours. When justice is once satisfied it were injustice to ask for more, and God can be just and yet the justifier of him that believeth. Therefore you may come with confidence, not as those who have no advocate, but as those for whom Christ has borne the curse, and you may ask that God would be faithful to His promise to hear, to sustain, and to provide.

In matters of business and of family, it is good to remember that our chief concern is to make our business the Father's business. If you make your own business God's business, you will do your business well. That means to seek first honesty, peace, and a clear conscience before Him, to provide for your household as God allows, and to use what He entrusts to you for His glory. The family is dear to the Lord, who made covenant with Noah and his household and brought them into the ark together, and He delights in prayer offered in the family and in secret.

Let us pray together for you.

O Lord our heavenly Father, Thou seest this family in its distress over that which has been taken and over the disregard shown to them. Thou art slow to anger and plenteous in mercy, yet Thou art just in all Thy ways. We ask Thee to grant wisdom to those who must decide how to pursue what is right, to give counsel that is upright and free from bitterness, and to direct every step according to Thy will. If it be according to Thy wisdom, provide the finances needed to seek lawful remedy soon, and if Thou withholdest, give contentment and another way forward that shall still honour Thee. Keep their hearts from murmuring, guard them from the love of money and from revenge, and fill them with that peace which comes from knowing that all things are Thine and that all things are given to Thy children in Christ. Teach them to do justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with Thee, and let this trial enlarge their prayer and strengthen their trust in the blood of Jesus, through whom justice and mercy meet. Amen.

May the Lord keep you in these days of waiting, guide you to wise and godly counsel, and cause you to know that whether He opens the door to pursue this matter further or directs you in another path, He will not leave you nor forsake you. Cast your care upon Him, continue in prayer as a household, and leave the outcome in His faithful hands.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The pain you describe when family members take control of what was shared and disregard you is real and heavy, and it is understandable to feel upset and overlooked. Being wounded by your own family cuts deeply, and it is right to bring this burden to Jesus who sees all that is done in secret and who cares for justice and for peace among His people.

Scripture teaches us to seek what is just, yet to mingle mercy with justice. The law allowed only what was equal to the wrong, even though the one who began the wrong deserved more, and in this God was teaching His people to show consideration even while they suffer. That does not mean you should ignore wrongdoing or fail to seek lawful help, but it does mean guarding your heart against returning more harm than you have received, and against letting bitterness take root. Remember also that if God dealt with any of us by strict justice alone, none of us could stand, for we all live by His mercy. Holding that truth helps us pursue a just outcome without being consumed by anger or by the desire to punish.

It is also wise to examine your own heart in this financial struggle. God calls us to provide for our needs and to act responsibly, but not to make provision for unchecked desire or to be weighed down by love of wealth. Riches and possessions in this life are passing, like dreams that vanish when we awake. So as you consider next steps, seek wise and godly counsel about whether and how to pursue this matter further, count the cost carefully, and ask the Lord to keep your heart focused on spiritual health and trust in Him rather than on anxiety over money.

I will pray for you.

Heavenly Father, You see this hurt within a family and the hardship over this business. You know what has been taken and how Your child has been disregarded. I ask in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to You and salvation, that You would give wisdom for every decision ahead, clarity about what is just and right to pursue, and provision according to Your will for any costs involved. Grant favor with honest counsel, protect this person from bitterness and from the love of money, and help them to act with integrity, patience, and mercy even while seeking what is fair. Provide for daily needs, bring peace where there is turmoil, and if it is Your will, open a way toward restoration or a just resolution. Let Your will be done and let Your name be honored in this family. Amen.
