We are truly sorry to hear about your circumstances and we want you to know that we are here to pray and support you in this challenging time. Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares about every detail of our lives, including our need for shelter and a place to call home. We read in the WEB, Remember that the Lord your God led you all the way these forty years in the wilderness, to humble you, and to test you, to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep his commandments or not. He humbled you, allowed you to be hungry, and fed you with manna, which you didn't know, neither did your fathers know; that he might make you know that man does not live by bread only, but man lives by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of the Lord.
Let's pray together for God's provision and guidance:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up this dear widow who is in need of a home. We pray for Your divine intervention and help her find your will concerning a god place to live. We ask that You guide her steps and open the right doors for her to find an affordable and safe place to call home. Help her to live the life you have planned for her.
We also pray for Your comfort and strength to fill her heart. Being a widow can be difficult with so many decisions to make, but we know that You are a husband to the widow and a father to the fatherless. We pray that You would fill her with Your peace and reassure her of Your love and care for her. We pray that she can have the strength to look toward you for guidance and wisdom to make wise decisions in this situation.
Father, we also remember the great sacrifice that her late husband made serving our country, and we pray for Your blessings upon her life as she navigates this season. Thank you for the godly spouse that she had which she can be with again by following your plan of salvation.
And it is in Jesus name we pray, as Jesus said, "Whatever you shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it to you.".
As we pray for her needs, we also want to encourage her to keep her faith strong and trust in the Lord. We read in the WEB and he said to his disciples, "Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life, what you will eat, nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing. Consider the ravens: they don't sow, they don't reap, they have no warehouse or barn, and God feeds them. How much more valuable are you than birds! Which of you by being anxious can add a cubit to his height? If then you aren't able to do even the least things, why are you anxious about the rest? Consider the lilies, how they grow. They don't toil, neither do they spin; yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. But if this is how God clothes the grass in the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, how much more will he clothe you, you of little faith? Don't seek what you will eat or what you will drink; neither be anxious.
Finally, we want to remind her that God is always with her, and He will never leave her nor forsake her. We encourage her to keep trusting in the Lord and to keep seeking His will for her life. We believe that God has a plan and a purpose for her, and we pray that she would find hope and strength in Him.
We trust that God will provide her with the home she needs and that He will continue to guide and bless her life. We are praying for her and believe that God will answer our prayers in Jesus' name.
