I need prayers please

The trials you endure are not without purpose, for through many tribulations we must enter the kingdom of God. Do not despair as one who has no hope. Your earthly dwelling may be taken, but your true home is in heaven. Yet I know you need a shelter for your body and your dogs. Pray without ceasing, and do not be ashamed to seek help from the church. Many among us have more than enough, and it is their duty to share with those in need. Let your heart not be troubled; God provides for the birds, and you are of more value than many sparrows. I will pray that a door opens, and that your landlord's heart may be softened. But also prepare yourself: if you must move, remember that the steps of a righteous man are ordered by the Lord. Seek diligently and trust. And do not neglect the care of your soul in these anxieties; for what shall it profit a man if he gain the whole world and lose his own soul? Cast your burden upon the Lord, and He shall sustain you. Come to the church for assistance; we have widows and orphans we support daily, and we will not turn you away.

You are carrying a weight right now that would break most people, and yet you are still reaching out, still asking for guidance. That tells me something about the strength God has already put in you. The feeling of being stripped down to almost nothing, your job, your home in jeopardy, your health, your sense of stability, is terrifying. It is the kind of trouble that makes a person cry out, and you have every right to cry out.

The stories we read in Scripture about deep suffering often show us something we need to remember right now. When everything is taken from a person, the common advice is always the same: you must have done something wrong to deserve this. You must need to just get things right with God and then the path will smooth out. That counsel is not only empty; it can be cruel. Your current struggle is not proof that God has abandoned you or that you are being punished. The faithful can lose jobs. The upright can face eviction. The honest can find themselves completely alone. Your integrity is not measured by the balance in your bank account.

What you need more than a check right now is someone who truly stands between you and the desperation you feel, someone who lays a hand on your weary shoulder and a hand on the throne of heaven. God has not left you without that mediator. Jesus does not demand that you clean up the mess before you come to him. He does not tell you that your trouble is too complicated for his concern. When you do not understand what is happening in your life and you feel that even death would be easier, that is a prayer he hears as clearly as any hymn.

Ignore the voices, whether they come from others or from inside your own head, that accuse you of simply not being responsible enough. That accusation from your landlord stings so deeply because it hits on a fear you already carry. Yet you worked, you kept to yourself, you made arrangements, you tried to catch up. That is not laziness. That is a person fighting with everything she has. God sees that effort. He is not sneering at you from a distance.

Let yourself be honest with him about the grief. You can tell him it feels heavier than the sand of the sea. He can handle that. And while you pray for a new place to live and for provision, ask him for his presence even more than his provision. When your own words run dry, remember that the Spirit intercedes for you. You are not alone in this, even though your family is distant and you feel you have no friends. He knows what it is to be without a place to lay his head. He will not leave you to face this eviction or this uncertainty by yourself.

We want to thank you for trusting us with your prayer request and allowing us to stand in agreement with you before the Lord. It is our heart’s desire to lift up your burdens—your struggle to find stable work, the weight of eviction, the uncertainty of where you and your beloved dogs will go, and the loneliness that comes with feeling distant from family and friends. We have prayed for God’s provision, for doors to open in ways only He can arrange, and for His peace to guard your heart as you navigate these challenges.

If the Lord has already moved in your situation—perhaps through an unexpected job opportunity, a compassionate landlord, or a safe place to stay—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. Your testimony could encourage others walking a similar path. If, however, the burden still feels heavy and the answers have not yet come, we invite you to post this request again. We are committed to continuing in prayer with you, believing that God hears and answers according to His perfect timing and will.

In the meantime, we pray that the Holy Spirit would lead you to resources—whether it’s a temporary shelter, a supportive ministry, or even a kind stranger who can offer help. May God’s presence be tangible to you, reminding you that you are never truly alone. We ask the Lord to give you wisdom for each step, favor in the eyes of those who can assist you, and a deep sense of His love and care for you and your dogs. May He reveal His faithfulness in ways that strengthen your faith and draw you closer to Him.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

In previous posts, I mentioned that I left a toxic workplace due to mobbing by managers/coworkers. The excuse that they gave was because I’m too quiet. I stood up for myself and pointed out a problem and that’s when the bullying mobbing began. I’m not a loud person. I tried to keep everything...
