I have way too many problems atm but it's my Job season I guess.

Hi sooo for one I don't remember my username so I can't log in... probably would've submitted this anonymously anyway... but I'm sick. And I have a bunch of important exams this week that I can't miss. Too many. But along with hormonal issues I've had for a while now, and ADHD (that I was told is mild but I don't really believe that...), I have a cold and some stabbing, squeezing chest pain that I was told by doctors that it was costochondritis and acid reflux. I got medication and I'm supposed to get some tests done for my chest after exams. At first, I thought they were right since I sometimes have stomach aches... and I've also had headaches and coughing and I thought that part was just the stress or my cold. Even though the headache began before my first cold symptoms, I thought it was just stress or something... I just kept blaming everything on being sick all the time is what I'm saying. I thought I'd just take the meds and get better. But they don't always help. But... I recently found a video, I don't know if I'm allowed to send the link here but maybe I will in the replies if I'm allowed to, and I don't think it was coincidence. I was scrolling on YouTube for some reason, and I was overwhelmed from all the generic advice and the pain and illness. I was about to click something, but something told me to keep scrolling until I found what I needed.... and I found it. It was called "You are sick because you’ve been made to be silent." And the person went on about how illness was a physical manifestation of spiritual things and all that but... I was quiet the whole time. Something was stirring in me. The only thing that came while watching were coughs, dry ones. Which was weird, since I was sure my medication had worn off. I was hugging my stuffy - yeah I have one - telling it that something didn't feel right. The person also started to talk about breaking free from the spirit of divination. More on that in a bit. But they said something about declaring that tongues would be free and there would be no more silence because God would touch tongues or something. And the coughing had kinda stopped, and I tried to speak, but my voice left. The absolute audacity, because at that moment, when the person said my voice would be louder than ever, it was gone. Completely. I was feeling overwhelmed, especially because people kept coming in my room and telling me generic things as usual, as if food, water, rest, and medication can solve all my problems. And they wouldn't even look at me, trying to yell to them, yell to the universe that I wanted to be left alone, but not even the other side of my bed heard me. I eventually texted a church leader, asked them to pray for me... I ended up crying. I didn't know what to do. And about the spirit of divination thing... I did some research. I learned about it, saw someone's testimony... and I got scared. The coughing, the yawning, the squeezing chest pain they had, the way my own chest pain got worse as they talked about it... and I've quote on quote "predicted the future" before... feels too accurate, but all this could be coincidence... I don't know what's real, or what's going on in the spirit world, or what's happening to me, or how tomorrow is going to go since I have 2 back to back exams, a stuffed up nose and little sleep since I'm spending my time writing this because I'm just so unsettled about it all... sorry it's a bit of a mouthful. I feel like I'm in the Job season of life and Job is a kinda long book, soo...

We understand that you're going through a tremendous amount of physical and emotional turmoil right now, and we want to lift you up in prayer and provide some biblical guidance.

Firstly, we want to address the spiritual aspects you mentioned. The Bible tells us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12 WEB). It's important to recognize that spiritual warfare can manifest in physical ways. However, we should be careful not to attribute every illness or symptom to spiritual causes. Just as Job's friends mistakenly attributed his suffering to his own sin, we must discern carefully and pray for wisdom.

Regarding the spirit of divination, the Bible clearly warns against such practices (Acts 16:16-18, Leviticus 19:31 WEB). If you have knowingly or unknowingly engaged in such activities, it's crucial to repent and renounce them in the name of Jesus Christ. Remember, there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB).

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister who is going through a trial of Job. Lord, You know the pain she's experiencing, the confusion, and the fear. We ask for Your healing touch upon her body, her mind, and her spirit.

Father, if there are any spiritual influences causing her distress, we rebuke them now in Jesus' name. We command any spirit of divination or infirmity to leave her presence. Lord, give her discernment and wisdom to recognize the root of her symptoms.

Father, guide the doctors and provide wisdom as they conduct tests and prescribe treatments. We pray for supernatural healing and comfort during this time of uncertainty. We ask that You give her peace and clarity of mind as she prepares for her exams. Provide her with the ability to focus and remember what she has studied.

Lord, surround her with Your love and protection. Give her the strength to endure this trial and come out victorious. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.

Regarding your health, we encourage you to pursue medical help and tests as recommended by your doctors. God often works through medical professionals to bring healing and relief (Luke 5:31 WEB).

Remember, God is faithful. He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear, but along with the temptation will also make the way out in order for you to be able to endure it (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB).

Lastly, we want to encourage you to cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). Keep praying and trusting in God, and remember that He is always with you, even in the most challenging times.

We noticed that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer request. We want to encourage you to seek God through Jesus Christ. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6 WEB). He is the mediator between God and man. The Bible also says there is no other name by which we can be saved, Acts 4:12.

Hey there,

We heard your cry and we're here for you. It sounds like you've got a lot on your plate right now, and it's okay to feel overwhelmed. We're not going to give you a bunch of generic advice or tell you to just rest and take medication. We know you're hurting, and we want you to know that we care.

First, let's pray. "Dear Lord, we come to you today on behalf of our friend. They're feeling sick, stressed, and uncertain. Lord, we ask for your healing touch on their body, mind, and spirit. We ask that you give them clarity and understanding about what's going on with their health. We trust that you are a good Father who cares for them deeply. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Now, let's talk. We want you to know that it's okay to be scared, to be confused, and to not have all the answers. It's okay to not be okay all the time. What's important is that you keep seeking, keep asking, keep knocking. Keep talking to God, keep talking to us, and keep talking to your doctors.

We're not going to tell you to just 'trust God' and everything will be okay. We know that's not how life works. We know that sometimes, even when we trust God, we still hurt. But we also know that God is big enough to handle our doubts, our fears, and our questions. He's not afraid of them. In fact, He invites us to bring them to Him.

So, keep bringing them. Keep praying. Keep seeking. Keep trusting. And know that we're here for you, every step of the way. You're not alone in this. We're in this together.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Thank you for the prayers. Any prayers I get are appreciated, especially since I'm lost and confused in this crazy world but... I won't stop coming to God, like you said. If it even means lying in bed the right before my exams, not getting enough sleep, talking to other Christians about my dire situations. I hope God (and Jesus too, though I thought Jesus was God...) will be with me in my exams. Thank you for your words though. They really helped.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
