I feel the devils threats

Beloved of All
…Lord on my life and the devil’s rudeness for no reason. These workers at a restaurant we frequent turn their hatred on when I began serving my Lord with all my Christian scripture attire and when I asked where was the other server, this man answered he’s dead I said what dead, how could that be since I just saw him here a few days ago?( And I felt like stating and he really wasn’t very nice this time!?) Yes he said, he’s Dead! How? I mentioned. He said no, he’s been Fired! I said really, as I sat at my usual table waiting for my order, but instead, he served it to go! I took it and waited for him to come back out to give me what I needed to go back and sit at the table, but he wouldn’t come out, acting very strange. Some other customers had come and waited 10-15 mins. for him but he wouldn’t come out to serve them and I heard them shout out for service and even calling them on their phone and nothing, as I too sat there for them to complete my order. They finally came out but acted very strange as I left I saw him just standing in the back! Do you think I should return? Lord has us covered by His mighty Protecting Blood covering!

We understand the heaviness of feeling the enemy’s opposition when you are boldly walking in your faith, and we commend you for standing firm in your devotion to Christ. The hostility you experienced at this restaurant is not merely human rudeness—it is a spiritual attack meant to discourage you from serving the Lord openly. The Bible warns us that when we live godly lives, persecution and opposition will come, but we are to take heart, for Christ has overcome the world (John 16:33). The enemy seeks to intimidate, isolate, and even mock those who follow Jesus, but we must remember that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

The strange and aggressive behavior you encountered—from the mocking tone about the server being "dead" to the refusal of service—reveals a deeper spiritual battle. The enemy often uses people as instruments to sow confusion, fear, or anger in the hearts of believers. But we must not be moved by such tactics. Instead, we are called to respond with wisdom, discernment, and the armor of God. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* This was not merely a bad customer service experience—it was an attempt to shake your faith and silence your testimony.

As for whether you should return to this restaurant, we must prayerfully consider whether this place is a battlefield the Lord is calling you to engage in or a distraction meant to drain your spiritual energy. If the Lord leads you back, go with the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18), prepared to speak truth in love, to pray silently for those workers, and to stand firm without fear. But if the Lord impresses upon your heart to avoid it, then obey His leading. Sometimes, the Lord removes us from certain environments to protect us from unnecessary spiritual warfare. Pray for discernment, asking the Holy Spirit to guide your steps (Proverbs 3:5-6).

We also encourage you to examine your heart in this situation. Were you wearing your Christian attire with humility and love, or could there have been even a hint of pride or self-righteousness that the enemy could have used to provoke this reaction? Not that you are at fault—far from it—but the enemy often exploits even the smallest opening. Let us always ensure that our testimony is seasoned with grace, so that even when others mock or reject us, they cannot accuse us of anything but Christlike love (1 Peter 3:15-16).

Now, let us pray over you:

Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister before Your throne of grace, asking that You would surround them with Your mighty protection. Lord, the enemy has sought to intimidate and discourage them through the rudeness and strange behavior of these workers, but we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Cover them with Your blood, Lord Jesus, and let every scheme of the devil be exposed and rendered powerless. Give them discernment to know whether to return to this place or to walk away, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

We rebuke every spirit of fear, confusion, and retaliation that the enemy may try to plant in their heart. Instead, fill them with Your boldness, Lord, so that they may continue to serve You without shame or hesitation. Let their life be a light that draws others to You, even in the face of opposition. We ask that You would soften the hearts of those workers—break the strongholds of bitterness, mockery, or spiritual blindness that may be influencing them. Open their eyes to the truth of Your love and salvation.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would remind our brother/sister that their battle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces. Equip them with Your Word, Your Spirit, and Your peace as they navigate this situation. May they walk in victory, knowing that You have already triumphed over every power of darkness through the cross.

We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Stand firm in your faith, dear one. The Lord sees your devotion, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). If you feel led to return, go in prayer and with the mindset of an ambassador for Christ (2 Corinthians 5:20). If not, trust that the Lord is redirecting your steps for His glory. Either way, keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2).

We're with you in spirit, dear friend. It's tough feeling the devil's threats, especially when it's from people you encounter daily. But remember, we're not fighting flesh and blood, but spiritual forces (Ephesians 6:12). It's not just rudeness; it's a spiritual attack meant to discourage you from serving the Lord openly.

We understand your confusion and frustration. The man's strange behavior and mocking words were indeed odd and uncalled for. It's like he was trying to provoke a reaction, to make you doubt or question your faith. But we must not be moved by such tactics. Instead, we're called to respond with wisdom, discernment, and the armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18).

As for returning to the restaurant, we believe it's a personal decision that requires prayer and discernment. If the Lord leads you back, go with the full armor of God, prepared to speak truth in love, pray silently for those workers, and stand firm without fear. But if the Lord impresses upon your heart to avoid it, then obey His leading. Sometimes, the Lord removes us from certain environments to protect us from unnecessary spiritual warfare.

Also, let's examine our hearts. Were we wearing our Christian attire with humility and love, or could there have been even a hint of pride or self-righteousness that the enemy could have used to provoke this reaction? Not that you're at fault, far from it, but the enemy often exploits even the smallest opening. Let's always ensure our testimony is seasoned with grace, so even when others mock or reject us, they cannot accuse us of anything but Christlike love (1 Peter 3:15-16).

Let's pray for discernment, asking the Holy Spirit to guide your steps (Proverbs 3:5-6). Trust that the Lord sees your devotion and will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2).

In Jesus' Name, we pray. Amen.
