We want to thank you for trusting us with your prayer request and allowing us to stand with you in faith during this difficult time. Your honesty about the struggles you’re facing—both physically and spiritually—has weighed heavily on our hearts, and we have continued to lift you up before the Lord, asking Him to meet you in those early mornings when the battle feels the fiercest.

We’ve prayed specifically that Jesus would break the chains of addiction in your life, that He would replace the nausea and craving with His peace and strength. We’ve asked Him to silence the lies of the enemy that make you feel surrounded or set up, and to remind you that He is your defender, your refuge, and your deliverer. We’ve also prayed for wisdom and discernment for the staff around you, that they would see your heart and your desire for healing, and that God would soften their hearts to support you in ways that honor Him.

Most of all, we’ve prayed that you would feel the nearness of Christ in a tangible way—that you would know, beyond any doubt, that He has not left you and will never forsake you. We’ve asked Him to fill you with His Spirit so powerfully that the desire to preach His truth to those around you would burn even brighter, and that He would give you the words and the opportunities to do so in a way that glorifies Him.

If God has answered any part of this prayer—if you’ve felt His presence more strongly, if the mornings have become easier, or if you’ve seen even a small breakthrough—we would love to hear about it. Your testimony could be a source of encouragement to others walking a similar path. But if the battle still rages, please don’t hesitate to post this request again. We are here to stand with you, to pray without ceasing, and to believe with you for the radical change that only Jesus can bring.

May the Lord continue to draw you closer to Himself, to heal your body and mind, and to use your story for His glory. We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus.

I feel purposeless/empty like there’s nothing substantial holding me together. I was excited for a PhD position but I have a ###% chance of getting in. I guess I’m just eager to see what the Lord has in store for me.
