I don’t know what to do

We hear the heaviness in your cry and we stand with you before the throne of grace, lifting up your marriage together in Jesus' name. We thank you for calling on the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that restoration and peace are possible.

We believe with you that marriage is sacred, a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman joined together by God Himself. As Jesus said, So that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, don't let man tear apart. Matthew 19:6 and again What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate. Mark 10:9. The Lord hates the breaking of this covenant, for He desires unity, faithfulness and love to reflect His own covenant with us. Malachi 2:16. Even when it feels like it is the last time and you do not know what to do, we are reminded that With God all things are possible. Matthew 19:26. Nothing is too hard for Him to restore when hearts are willing to humble themselves before Him.

We know the pain and turmoil that comes when peace leaves a home. The Word encourages us, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7. He also invites us to be casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7 and He promises Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Psalm 34:18. He sees your tears and hears this prayer for restoration.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this precious marriage to You. Lord, You see the struggle, the hurt, the confusion and the weariness, and we ask You to step into this home right now. Pour out Your peace that surpasses all understanding upon both husband and wife. Soften hardened hearts, heal wounded spirits, and help each to forgive as You have forgiven us. We pray that You would drive out bitterness, anger, and pride, and replace them with kindness, tenderheartedness and forgiveness, just as God also in Christ forgave you. Ephesians 4:32. Lord, restore love and unity, and help them to walk in love above all, which is the bond of perfection. Colossians 3:14. Where there has been distance, bring closeness. Where there has been harsh words, bring gentle and gracious speech. Where there has been hopelessness, breathe new hope and a renewed commitment to the vows made before You. We ask that You would guard this covenant and make this marriage a testimony of Your redeeming power. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek Him daily together if possible, to pray together and for one another, to speak with grace and to forgive quickly. Seek wise godly counsel from a pastor or mature Christian couple who honors marriage as God does, and remain in the Word together. Do not give up on what God has joined, for He is able to restore and to bring peace where there has been storm. We will continue to contend for your marriage with you, trusting that the Lord who began this covenant is faithful to sustain it as you both turn to Him.

somehow can you please bring peace to my marriage Lord can you please stop in and restore it one last time in Jesus name please

Lord we the church assembled here on this site agree with the prayer request of this believer. We call on You because You answer us and show us great and mighty things we do not know, in Jesus' Name, Jer 33:3, c.f. Eph 3:20.

We hear how tired and tender your heart sounds as you ask the Lord to step into your marriage one more time. Wanting peace at home is such a deep and good desire, and we want you to know we are standing with you in prayer.

When a marriage feels fragile, it helps to remember that love grows best where both people feel safe to open their hearts again. Real restoration is not just wishing things were better, but a shared commitment to rebuild trust day by day, with honesty and gentleness. That takes time, and it often helps to have someone wise walking alongside you.

If it is possible, we encourage you to invite a trusted pastor or Christian counselor to sit with you both, even for one conversation, to help you name what has hurt and what would help each of you feel safer and more heard. You might also ask each other a simple question when things are calm: what is one small way I can help you feel more at peace with me this week, and then listen without defending.

We may not know the whole story, but God does, and He hears your plea.

Father, we bring this marriage to You and ask for Your peace to settle in this home. Draw near to both hearts, soften what is hard, heal what is wounded, and give clear wisdom for each next step. Lead them toward what honors You and brings true healing, in Jesus name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your burdened prayer for peace and for the restoration of your marriage is heard, and it is good that you have brought it to the Lord Jesus Christ, for He alone is our peace.

The Scripture says, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. That perfect peace is not found in circumstances being made easy, but in the blood of Jesus which whispers peace within. It is a present possession to be enjoyed even when duties press and sorrows surge round, when you bear your sorrow with Him. To do the will of Jesus, this is rest. Keep your mind stayed upon Him, trust in Him, and He will keep you even while you wait upon His restoring hand.

Know also that He is the God of peace who has prepared everything necessary for perfect reconciliation. The peace we most need is peace with God through the blood of His Son, for He has made peace by His blood and He Himself is our peace. Peace with God is the fountain, and peace in the conscience is the crystal stream which issues from it. When you are at peace with God and know it, you are at peace with all things. Seek Christ first, and peace will come next. Do not seek a mere lull of stupefaction, or a cry of peace, peace where there is no peace, but that true peace which comes from lips that cannot lie and from a heart which cannot change, through the full atonement of Christ.

Take comfort from Peter, for his story is not only his fall but his restoration. He was down, but he was soon up again, because the Lord had prayed for him and looked upon him in love. That same Lord lives and intercedes now. He can sever you from the crowd of fear and failure, bring you out, and by His look of mercy lead you to weep and to return. He restores the joy and zeal that have been lost, and when you are restored you may then strengthen others. What He did for Peter He delights to do for His wandering children still.

Marriage is a covenant before God, not lightly made, cemented by mutual love where two become one, and it is His good design that it be kept in holiness and faithfulness. Therefore bring your marriage before Him with honest confession, with forgiveness, and with a desire to do His will together. Pray that each heart would first be reconciled to God, and then be reconciled to one another in truth and grace.

Let us pray together for you now. O Lord, God of all peace, who has made peace by the blood of the cross, look in mercy upon this troubled marriage. Forgive sin, wash in the blood of Jesus, and speak perfect peace to this troubled heart whose mind would stay upon You. Where there has been distance, bring near. Where there has been hurt, bring healing. Restore, we beseech You, what has been broken, and make this union to reflect Your faithful love, that it may be kept in purity and lifelong faithfulness according to Your holy ordinance. Give wisdom, tenderness, and a new love for Your law, and let nothing offend where Your great peace reigns. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and our peace, Amen.
