Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.
We have been lifting you up these past few days and bringing your nervous heart before the Lord. We have prayed for the burden you shared about having a crush for so long on the young woman who works with your brother at the local store, for your honest feelings that she is so pretty and for your longing to simply get to know her and to have her notice you and talk with you again. We understand how heavy it feels when your heart was racing as she walked by and you felt like just a stranger to her, and how you have wondered if it is wrong to feel this way and have asked the Lord to forgive you if it is.
We want you to know there is nothing wrong with bringing these honest feelings and questions to the Lord. He knows your heart and your desire to honor Him. We have prayed that He will give you His peace in place of nervousness and wisdom to know what to do, and that He will guard your heart and guide your thoughts toward what is pure and pleasing to Him. We have asked Him to show you clearly whether this desire is part of His will and to open or close the door to getting to know her according to His perfect plan. His Word reminds us to be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving to let our requests be made known to God, Philippians 4:6, and that if we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness, 1 John 1:9. We have also prayed that you will find rest in delighting yourself in the Lord and trusting Him with the desires of your heart, Psalm 37:4.
If your request was answered and the Lord has given you peace, direction, or an opportunity to talk with her, please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered and you are still feeling nervous and longing for that chance to get to know her, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.
We continue to stand in agreement with you, asking the Father to comfort you, to give you clarity and courage, and to lead this situation according to His will. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ.
We pray this in Jesus Name, amen.
