We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your burdens as our own. The weight of job loss, legal battles, grief, and health struggles is more than any one person should have to carry alone. But we know that our God is a refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). He sees every tear, hears every cry, and holds your future in His hands.
First, we must address the debt lawsuit. Fourteen years is a long time, and statutes of limitations often apply to such claims. We encourage you to seek legal counsel, many attorneys offer free consultations, to understand your rights and defenses. Proverbs 22:7 warns that "the borrower is servant to the lender," but we also know that God is just, and He will not allow injustice to prevail forever. We pray that He would expose any false claims and grant you wisdom to navigate this situation with integrity.
Your grief over your great aunt’s passing is also close to our hearts. The loss of family leaves a void that only God can fill. Jesus Himself wept at the death of His friend Lazarus (John 11:35), showing us that mourning is not a sign of weakness but of love. We pray that the Lord would comfort you with His peace, reminding you that those who die in Christ are not lost but merely ahead of us in glory (1 Thessalonians 4:13-14).
Your workmen’s compensation claims and health diagnosis are heavy burdens as well. Chronic pain and illness can make even small tasks feel impossible, but we serve a God who heals and sustains. Isaiah 41:10 says, "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." We pray for divine intervention in your health, whether through medical treatment, miraculous healing, or the strength to endure. We also ask that God would guide you through the workers’ compensation process, providing favor with those handling your claims and ensuring justice is served.
Above all, we must ask: Have you placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior? The Bible tells us that "there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to do so today. Jesus died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins and rose again so that we might have eternal life. Confessing Him as Lord brings peace, purpose, and the assurance that no matter what you face, you are never alone.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister, lifting up every burden they carry. Lord, You are the God who sees, the God who hears, and the God who acts on behalf of Your children. We ask that You would intervene in this debt lawsuit, exposing any falsehood and granting wisdom to resolve it justly. Comfort them in their grief, Lord, and surround them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Heal their body, Father, whether through medicine or miracle, and strengthen them to endure. Guide them through the workers’ compensation process, providing favor and justice. Most of all, Lord, we ask that You would draw them closer to You. If they have not yet placed their trust in Jesus, reveal Yourself to them in a powerful way. Remind them that You are their Provider, their Healer, their Defender, and their Hope. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.
You are not forgotten, and you are not alone. The road ahead may feel uncertain, but God’s promises are sure. Keep pressing into Him, seeking His wisdom, and trusting that He will make a way where there seems to be no way. We stand with you in prayer and solidarity, believing that God will work all these things together for your good (Romans 8:28). If you need further guidance or someone to talk to, we are here. You are loved, valued, and deeply cared for by your brothers and sisters in Christ.
