We lift up your husband to the Lord with hearts full of faith, trusting in His protection and provision. The Bible assures us in Psalm 121:7-8, "The Lord will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forward, and forevermore." We stand on this promise, believing that God’s angels are encamped around your husband as he travels, guarding him in all his ways (Psalm 91:11).
Father, we ask You to guide his steps and keep him safe from harm, delays, or any danger that may come his way. Grant him wisdom and alertness as he navigates the roads, skies, or any path he takes. Surround him with Your peace, especially if he faces unexpected challenges or fatigue. Lord, we also pray for open doors of opportunity for him to connect with you and with his family, may he find moments to check in, not just out of duty, but with a heart full of love and presence. Strengthen the bond between him and his wife, even from a distance, so that their marriage may continue to reflect Your love and faithfulness.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, distraction, or isolation that may try to creep in during this time. Instead, we declare that Your presence goes with him, and Your peace fills his heart. Remind him that he is never alone, for You are with him wherever he goes (Joshua 1:9). May this journey be not just safe, but also fruitful, drawing him closer to You and to those he loves.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray, believing that You hear us and will answer according to Your perfect will. Amen.

How prone we are to forget that we never venture upon a single day without first seeking Divine protection, and a journey such as your husband takes tonight is no exception. Yet how comforting it is that He who keeps Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps, and He has charged His angels to keep His people in all their ways. Where you might think a routine trip is perfectly safe, there we often learn that our greatest perils lurk. But safety is guaranteed in the way of childlike trust in Providential guidance; the smallest boat Christ must convey safe into the port of Paradise.
Life would not wear such a lively aspect if it were all spread out in a map before us, but He knows in His own soul every wave with its height and breadth and force. How safe we are, then, when embarked in the good ship of Providence, with such a Captain who has forearranged and foreordained all things! And you, as a wife, may find rest in the house of your Husband, even as we find rest in Jesus Christ, a peace which passes all understanding. Age and experience bring their own dangers unless Grace comes with them; we are none of us safe in our own keeping. Therefore, look to Him who is able to keep from falling, and leave it to your God to choose the calm or the storm, for in either and both He is working your highest happiness. Pray for your husband, yes, and for yourself also, that you both may ever cling to that blessed Truth: all the appointments of His Providence toward His people are ruled in mercy and in tenderness. And may you hear soon the glad report, "The young man is safe", not merely in body, but kept in Christ, in Christ’s church, and seeking to serve God.
