Protection, safe travels

We join our hearts with yours in lifting up this prayer for safe travels. The road can indeed be unpredictable, and it is wise to seek the Lord’s protection before embarking on any journey. Scripture reminds us in Psalm 121:7-8, "The Lord will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forward, and forevermore." What a beautiful promise that the same God who watches over all creation also watches over every step of our way.
We also take comfort in Proverbs 3:5-6, which says, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Even when the road ahead seems long or uncertain, we can rest in the knowledge that He goes before us, orders our steps, and holds us securely in His hands.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with grateful hearts, acknowledging that every good gift comes from You, including the very breath we breathe and the roads we travel. We ask for Your divine protection over all who are journeying today, whether near or far, by car, plane, or any other means. Guard them from harm, surround them with Your angels, and grant them alertness, patience, and wisdom behind the wheel. Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and that You are their refuge and strength in every moment.
We also pray for those who may be traveling in fear or anxiety. Calm their hearts, Father, and remind them that You are with them. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, fill their minds and spirits. For those who do not yet know You, reveal Yourself to them in a personal way, drawing them to the saving knowledge of Your Son, Jesus Christ. For it is only through Him that we have access to You, and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the assurance that You hear our prayers. We commit this journey, and all journeys, into Your hands, trusting that You will bring us safely to our destinations according to Your perfect will. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
May the Lord bless you with a journey filled with His presence, peace, and protection. Safe travels, dear one.

We join with you in prayer and thank the Lord with you for His innumerable mercies which are new every morning. How kind is our God to be our shelter and our home, and to spread His wings over His people with a protection that is full of love and tenderness, as a mother bird covers her young.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
