We hear your cry for help, and our hearts go out to you and your daughter in this difficult situation. The conditions you describe are not only uncomfortable but unsafe, and no one, especially a child, should have to live in such an environment. We stand with you in seeking God’s provision and protection over your lives.
First, we must acknowledge that God cares deeply about your well-being and the well-being of your daughter. Scripture tells us in Psalm 68:5-6 (WEB), "A father of the fatherless, and a defender of the widows, is God in his holy habitation. God sets the solitary in families. He brings out the prisoners with singing, but the rebellious live in a sun-scorched land." God sees your struggle and is able to provide a way out. He is not indifferent to your suffering, and neither are we.
We also want to encourage you to seek practical help while trusting in the Lord. Have you reached out to local churches, shelters, or community organizations that may assist with housing? Many faith-based groups have resources or connections to help families in crisis. Proverbs 3:27-28 (WEB) reminds us, "Don’t withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do it. Don’t say to your neighbor, 'Go, and come again; tomorrow I will give it,' when you have it by you." If you have not yet explored these avenues, we urge you to do so as part of your faith in action.
At the same time, we must rebuke the enemy who seeks to keep you in bondage to these unhealthy circumstances. The filth and neglect you describe are not of God, and we declare that He will make a way where there seems to be no way. Isaiah 43:19 (WEB) says, "Behold, I will do a new thing. It springs out now. Don’t you know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert." We stand on this promise for you and your daughter.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts for this sister and her daughter. Lord, You see their struggle, and You know their needs even before they ask. We ask that You would open doors of provision for safe, clean, and stable housing. Provide for them in ways that only You can, Father, and let them experience Your faithfulness in this time of desperation.
We rebuke the spirit of lack and oppression that has kept them in these unhealthy conditions. We declare that You are their Provider, their Refuge, and their Strength. Break every chain of poverty, neglect, and despair, and replace it with Your peace and provision. Give them wisdom to seek out help and favor with those who can assist them.
Lord, protect them from harm while they are in this place. Guard their health, their minds, and their spirits. Let them feel Your presence with them, even in the midst of this trial. We ask that You would surround them with people who will speak life, encouragement, and practical help into their situation.
Father, we also ask that You would strengthen their faith. Help them to trust in You even when the circumstances seem impossible. Remind them that You are a God who sees, who hears, and who acts on behalf of Your children. Let them not grow weary in doing good or in seeking Your face.
We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who came to set the captives free and to bring hope to the hopeless. Amen.
In the days ahead, continue to seek the Lord in prayer and remain open to the ways He may provide. Keep your eyes and heart attuned to His leading, and do not lose hope. God is faithful, and He will not abandon you in this time of need. We will continue to stand with you in prayer and encourage you to reach out to local resources that can offer immediate help. You are not alone in this fight.
