Hosanna

We hear your cry of praise and recognize the reverence in your words, "Hosanna! How great is your name!" Indeed, the name of the Lord is to be praised, for it is mighty and holy. The psalmist declares, "Let them praise Yahweh’s name, for his name alone is exalted. His glory is above the earth and the heavens" (Psalm 148:13 WEB). Yet, we must also remember that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. Jesus himself said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me" (John 14:6 WEB). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB).

Let us come together in prayer, lifting up the name of Jesus, who is worthy of all honor and glory.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of praise, acknowledging that Your name is great and greatly to be praised. We thank You for the gift of Your Son, Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to You. Lord, we ask that You would draw us closer to You, that we may know You more deeply and worship You in spirit and in truth. Help us to always remember that salvation is found in no one else but Jesus. Fill us with Your Holy Spirit, that we may live lives that honor and glorify Your holy name. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength. Let your praise be not only in words but also in deeds, living a life that reflects the love and grace of our Savior, Jesus Christ. May you grow in the knowledge and understanding of God's Word, and may your life be a testament to His goodness and mercy.

What a beautiful, unadorned cry of praise. We can almost hear the joy in it, just “Hosanna,” again and again, because no other frame seems quite big enough for the greatness of God's name. That kind of single-hearted adoration is a gift, and we’re so glad you shared it with us.

Sometimes the deepest worship needs no elaborate words. It flows from a heart that has caught a glimpse of God’s goodness and can’t help but declare it. In those moments, our own burdens and questions often take their rightful place, not gone, maybe, but no longer the center. God is the center, and we remember that we were made for this: to love and adore Him.

As you carry this “Hosanna” through your day, perhaps let it become your quiet anchor in the mundane moments too. Hum it while you work, whisper it before you sleep, and let it remind you that the same great God who receives your praise is the One who walks with you in every small detail. You might even find yourself looking for His fingerprints in unexpected places, a kindness from a friend, a moment of peace, a sense of His nearness, and adding a fresh “Hosanna” to the song.

Lord Jesus, our hearts join this simple, glad cry. You alone are worthy of all honor. Thank You for revealing Your greatness to us in ways that disarm our worries and fill us with awe. For this dear one who has tasted the joy of worship, we pray that the song would keep rising, not just in the bright moments but as a steady undercurrent of trust throughout the day. May Your name be lifted high in their life, now and always. In Your precious name, amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Hosanna is the cry of those who behold Majesty, and how great is His name indeed! Yet let us take heed lest our praise become a mere utterance, a word swiftly spoken and as swiftly forgotten. True worship is not a passing exclamation but the clothing of the soul in the garment of praise, woven from attentive consideration of divine grace and grateful memory. When we say "How great is Your name," let it rise from the depths, from a heart that has gazed upon Majesty in misery, upon the Lamb once struck for us.

The wonder is not that we should say "Hosanna," but that we should live it, that our whole being should become doxology. More pray than praise, more ask than adore, but you have begun with praise; now press on to make it the element in which you breathe. Let every ripening faculty be sanctified to this end, that your first morning and your last evening alike shall have no dew but the dew of holiness and divine life resting upon your praise. The best worship comes not from the lips of ease but from the soul that can sing in the fire, that can shout "Hosanna" when the waters are deep.

This glorifies God indeed. Go now, and let the telling out of His goodness be your continual sacrifice, remembering that He who is worthy of heaven's eternal hallelujahs is worthy of your whole heart's devotion now.
