Thank you for prayers the elderly that gotten bump by a pickup truck was released from the hospital. The doctor said her lung and esophagus looked good finally so he had discharged her. Before he discharged her he was saying that air was being released somewhere else where it shouldn't be. But he did different test, and then a ultra sound and said the ultra sound looked good. So she was discharged. He said her lung and esophagus would have to heal on its own. But then said that her lung and esophagus looked fine. Looked good!

We rejoice with you in the good news that this dear elderly sister has been discharged from the hospital! What a mercy it is that after such a frightening incident, the Lord has preserved her life and granted her healing. We give thanks to our Heavenly Father for His watchful care over her, for the skill He gave the doctors, and for the way He answered the prayers of His people.

The Word of God reminds us in Psalm 103:2-5, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases; who redeems your life from destruction; who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies; who satisfies your desire with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s." How beautifully this describes the Lord’s faithfulness in this situation! Even when the medical reports seemed uncertain, when air was found where it shouldn’t have been, God was at work, guiding the hands of the physicians and bringing clarity through the ultrasound.

We also take comfort in knowing that the Lord is the Great Physician, and though some healing must come with time, we trust in His perfect timing. Jeremiah 17:14 says, "Heal me, O Yahweh, and I will be healed; save me, and I will be saved; for you are my praise." Let us continue to lift her up in prayer, asking the Lord to strengthen her body, ease any discomfort, and restore her fully to health. We pray that He would grant her peace, patience, and the assurance of His presence as she recovers.

Father in Heaven, we come before You with grateful hearts for the way You have watched over this precious one. We thank You for preserving her life and for the healing You have already brought. Lord, we ask that You would continue to heal her lung and esophagus, that every part of her body would function as You designed it to. Give her strength for each day, comfort in any pain, and the joy of Your presence. Surround her with Your peace, and let her feel the love of Your people as they care for her. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, through whom we have access to Your throne of grace. Amen.

We encourage you to keep trusting in the Lord’s goodness, even as you monitor her recovery. The fact that she has been discharged is a sign of His mercy, and we believe He will complete the work He has begun in her. Continue to pray, to seek His wisdom, and to rest in His promises. What a relief to hear this good news! We’re rejoicing with you that the elderly woman was discharged and is home. The back-and-forth from the doctor must have been unsettling, first mentioning air going where it shouldn’t, then saying the ultrasound and her lung and esophagus looked good. That kind of mixed message can leave a family holding their breath even after a good report. But the fact remains: she’s out of the hospital, and the doctor saw enough to send her home to heal. That’s a mercy we don’t want to rush past.

We’re thankful she is now in a familiar, restful place where her body can continue mending. Sometimes healing does just take time, and the quiet of home often does more than all the tests and monitors. We pray the confusion you felt gives way to steady peace, and that you can all rest in the care God has already shown.

Lord, we thank You for bringing this dear woman through such a frightening accident and for a hospital release that, despite confusing words, pointed toward hope. It is a cause for much gratitude that the aged sister has been brought safely through this sudden trial, and that the physicians have discharged her to the comfort of her own habitation. The report that her lung and esophagus appeared sound is a token of mercy for which we lift our hearts to the Great Physician, who holds the issues of life and death. Yet do not marvel if the healing proves gradual, and if day by day only little strength returns; for in each small advance there is a fresh claim upon your affection, a new thread of lovingkindness that binds you to the Lord who restores.

Beware of the foolish notion that this mishap was a mark of divine displeasure, a peculiar judgment for some secret sin. Such reasoning makes the vast deeps of providence into a shallow pool, where men think to read every ripple as though it were a plain sentence of wrath. We know not why the Lord permitted the accident, and it is not ours to pronounce where He has not spoken. Instead of darkening counsel by words without knowledge, let us give thanks that the aged one was not left among the dead, but was spared to testify of the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.

This sudden jolt should serve as a warning, however, that none of us hold a lease upon our earthly tabernacle. A man may be hearty and strong one hour, and by a slight mischance or the stopping of his blood be hurried into the presence of his God. May it be that for all who trust in Jesus, sudden death is but sudden glory. Let the nearness of that day stir up hearts to cling more closely to the cross, and to walk so that whether life lengthens or the summons comes with swiftness, Christ shall be magnified in the body, whether by health or by death.

It is right to give thanks for the release from the hospital, for the good report that the lung and esophagus look sound. This mercy is from God, and gratitude must be offered without reserve. But notice the anxious repetition in your words, the back and forth between the alarming phrase and the reassuring one. The doctor spoke of air going where it should not, then after tests said all looked good, yet the healing must now proceed on its own.

This uncertainty has unsettled you, and you are clinging to the good words while still trembling at the troubling ones. This is like the disciples who knew the Master would die, having heard it continually, yet they understood not the manner of that death or the speedy release to come. They grieved because they clung earnestly to Him, but their knowledge was partial. So too your knowledge of this woman's body is partial.

The physician has done his part; the instruments of his art have spoken comfort. Yet the recovery that must unfold over time belongs to a wisdom beyond instruments. When a tree receives many blows and seems not to fall, the root is invisibly receiving each stroke, and the final blow that topples it does not act alone. So the healing remedies applied in the hospital may show their fruit hereafter, and what seems now like a contradiction in the report may be only the tension between a trouble identified and a health that is better than the trouble.

Do not then rehearse the alarming words as if the Comforter has departed. While the Spirit remains with you, you are being taught to bear what is not yet clear. The lung and esophagus must heal on their own, but this is not abandonment; it is the quiet working of the body's nature under the hand of Him who fashioned it. Let the thanksgiving be sincere and without the undercurrent of mistrust.

Give God the full glory for the discharge, and wait upon the healing that is still hidden, as it were, in the root.

It is good to hear that she has been released from the hospital. Thanking God with you for the way the doctors saw improvement and felt confident enough to send her home. Healing so often comes quietly, step by step, and any genuine recovery is His doing. The body mending, strength returning, tests coming back better than before, these are gifts worth celebrating, even when the full picture takes time to unfold.

The doctor mentioned air escaping where it shouldn’t, then later said the ultrasound looked fine. Those moments of uncertainty can stir anxiety, but they also invite us to trust the Healer more than the report. What our eyes see or what we hear in a diagnosis isn’t the whole story. God is able to work through a gradual process, knitting together what is weak or broken, sometimes in ways that leave the experts scratching their heads. He hears the cry of those who are hurting, and He meets us in hospital rooms just as surely as anywhere else.

You don’t need to bargain for His help or make frantic promises for His favor. He is gracious and merciful without any deal-making. The same hand that brought this dear woman through the accident is holding her now. Her life is in His care, and He will finish what He has begun. As you continue to lift her up, let your prayers be full of thanksgiving, not anxious striving. His goodness endures, and showing up even in small daily gains.

May you see His faithfulness in each day ahead. Give thanks for every sign of progress, and rest in the truth that He has purposes far beyond what we can grasp. He is preparing her, and all of you, for whatever He has next.
