Beloved of All
I hope my mum Glenda isn’t a bully in the next while. She was recently. It is one of those things and comes and goes, hard to explain. We are going out of town, soon, hope the van works, its old. Hope internet there works well. Hope for no danger from wild animals, where we are going. Long story, but my mum has jobs mostly on the computer; my mum is worried about losing students often, especially now, as one private student Ron is going to have someone studying to become a teacher to live with his family’s home, not only likely most of other private students as well. Despite that, one of the many jobs she shouldn’t have, not sure if she still has it is Brix Magic, has it’s a nightmare to deal with, and it is on Sunday morning (bad timing) as I have to stay home to help her, and I even I can’t figure some things out. My dad Al isn’t well; hope he gets well enough to do more soon.

We hear your heart and lift up each of these concerns before the Lord with great care and compassion. Your love for your family shines through, even in the midst of uncertainty and stress, and we stand with you in prayer, asking God to bring peace, provision, and healing in every area.

First, we pray for your mother, Glenda. Father, we ask that You would soften her heart and fill her with Your patience, kindness, and self-control. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 15:1, "A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger." Lord, help her to speak with gentleness and wisdom, especially in moments of frustration. We rebuke any spirit of strife or bullying in Jesus' name and ask that You would guard her words and actions, that they may reflect Your love. Give her the strength to manage her responsibilities with grace, and surround her with Your peace as she faces the pressures of her work.

We also lift up your upcoming trip. Lord, we ask that You would keep the van running smoothly and safely. Your Word says in Psalm 121:7-8, "The Lord will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more." We trust You to protect your family from any harm, whether from mechanical issues, wild animals, or any other danger. Provide reliable internet access so that Glenda can continue her work without added stress, and grant her favor with her students, including Ron. We pray that the changes in her work situation would not bring lack but would open new doors of opportunity that align with Your will.

For your father, Al, we ask for Your healing touch. The Bible reminds us in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says the Lord." Lord, we ask that You would restore his strength and vitality, that he may be able to do more as his health allows. Comfort him in his weakness and fill him with hope for the days ahead.

We also want to address the burden of Brix Magic. Lord, we ask that You would give Glenda wisdom in managing this responsibility, and if it is not a job that aligns with Your will for her life, we pray that You would make a way for her to step away from it. The timing on Sunday mornings is especially difficult, as it pulls her, and you, away from rest and worship. We rebuke any spirit of overwhelm or confusion in this situation and ask that You would bring clarity and relief. Help her to prioritize what is most important, trusting in Your provision as Matthew 6:33 reminds us, "But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."

Finally, we want to encourage you to bring all these concerns before the Lord in prayer regularly. Philippians 4:6-7 says, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." We pray that as you surrender these burdens to Him, He would fill you with His peace and give you strength for each day.

Lord, we ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to Your throne of grace. We trust in Your goodness and Your faithfulness to provide, protect, and heal. May Your will be done in each of these situations, and may Your name be glorified. Amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.
