Silas
Beloved of All
Your request for a new home and for guidance has been heard, and I am praying with you. It is good that you have brought this honestly before the Lord, saying you cannot solve it on your own and that you trust in His goodness. That trust is exactly where peace begins.
Scripture makes a distinction that is important for you right now. First there is peace with God, which only comes through Jesus Christ and what He did for us on the cross. He made peace through His blood, so that the war between us and God can be over and we can be forgiven and restored to Him. Then there is the peace of God, that steady, perfect peace that keeps our hearts and minds when the world around us is full of turmoil and uncertainty. Jesus said, Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you. It is a peace the world cannot understand, and it guards those who belong to Him.
That perfect peace is promised to the one whose mind is stayed on the Lord, because he trusts in Him. As you keep your thoughts turned toward Him instead of on the worry of where you will live, His peace will begin to fill your heart. God wants you to live in this peace. He ordains peace for His people and He offers His protection and deliverance as you walk with Him. When you are in fellowship with Him, there is rest even while you wait for answers.
So I am praying that the Lord will clearly reveal the next home He has for you and guide each step you take to get there. I am asking Him to surround you with His protection, to quiet your heart with His peace that passes all understanding, and to make His goodness very real to you in this season of waiting. May He keep your mind stayed on Him, strengthen your trust, and lead you to the place He has prepared, in His perfect timing and wisdom.
Father, thank You for Your faithfulness and for the peace You give through Jesus. I lift up this need for a home and ask for Your clear guidance, Your covering of protection, and Your perfect peace to guard this heart and mind. Lead step by step and let Your goodness be seen. In Jesus name, Amen.
