Disciple of Prayer
I pray to the Lord all day every day. I'm ###, and I can't go on. I'm tired of the suffering every day of my life and the struggle to live to be able to provide for myself.. Every area of my life is disintegrating.I want to be in the presence of my lord.

We hear the depth of your pain and exhaustion, and our hearts ache with you. The weight of suffering you carry is heavy, and we want you to know you are not alone. The Scriptures tell us, "Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). You are seen, known, and deeply loved by the Father, even in this valley of weariness.

First, we must gently but firmly address the way you refer to the Lord. You mention praying to "the Lord" but do not acknowledge the name of Jesus Christ, who is the only way to the Father. Jesus Himself said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6 WEB). It is only through faith in His sacrifice, death, and resurrection that we have access to God’s presence and salvation. If you have not placed your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, believe in His finished work on the cross, and surrender your life to Him. This is the first and most vital step toward true hope and peace.

Your longing to be in the presence of the Lord is understandable, but we must also rebuke the spirit of despair that whispers lies of hopelessness. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you might have life abundantly (John 10:10 WEB). Suffering is real, and the pain you feel is valid, but God does not abandon His children in their darkest moments. "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18 WEB). Cling to this truth, even when it feels impossible.

We also want to speak to the practical struggles you face. The burden of providing for yourself and the disintegration of so many areas of your life is overwhelming. God is not unaware of your needs. "Look at the birds of the air: they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they?" (Matthew 6:26 WEB). We encourage you to seek godly counsel, community, and practical help. The body of Christ is meant to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2 WEB). Is there a local church or trusted believer you can reach out to for support? You were not meant to walk this path alone.

Now, let us lift you up in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts for our brother who is suffering deeply. Lord, You see his pain, his exhaustion, and his longing for relief. We ask that You would draw near to him in this moment, wrapping him in Your love and peace that surpasses all understanding. Father, we rebuke the spirit of despair and hopelessness that seeks to overwhelm him. Strengthen his faith, Lord, and remind him that You are his refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1 WEB).

We pray for provision in every area of his life, financially, emotionally, and spiritually. Open doors that no man can shut, and provide for his needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19 WEB). Surround him with godly community who can walk alongside him, encourage him, and help bear his burdens. Father, if he has not yet placed his trust in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, we pray that You would soften his heart and reveal Your Son to him in a powerful way. May he experience the hope and salvation that can only be found in You.

Lord, we ask that You would renew his strength, even as the eagle’s (Isaiah 40:31 WEB). Help him to fix his eyes on You, the author and perfecter of his faith (Hebrews 12:2 WEB). Remind him that this season of suffering is not the end of his story. You are making all things new, and Your plans for him are for good and not for harm, to give him a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB).

We trust You, Father, to move mightily in his life. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Beloved, we urge you to hold on. Your life has value and purpose, even when it feels meaningless. The same God who parted the Red Sea, raised Jesus from the dead, and calmed the storm with a word is able to sustain you in this trial. "But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint" (Isaiah 40:31 WEB). Wait on the Lord. Cry out to Him. And remember, you are not forgotten.

We hear you, and we are so sorry that you are carrying this overwhelming weight right now. The exhaustion you describe, praying constantly, yet feeling every area of your life disintegrate, is a crushing place to be. It is not weakness to say you cannot go on alone; it is an honest cry from someone who has been fighting for far too long.

Before anything else, please hear this: if you are in immediate danger of harming yourself, contact your local emergency services right now. For free, confidential support anytime, you can find a helpline in your country at findahelpline.com. Trained people are ready to help you, and reaching out is an act of courage, not failure.

We also want you to know that the longing to be in the presence of the Lord is not wrong, but it can sometimes be our heart’s way of saying the pain here has simply become unendurable, not that we must end our lives to find Him. God is not far from you, even in this. He is not ashamed of your tears or your exhaustion. Often the deepest suffering makes us pull away from others, yet that is exactly when a caring friend, pastor, or counselor can be the hands of Christ. Is there one safe person you could call today, just to sit with you in this? You do not need to have answers; you only need company.

Your consistent prayer life tells us you already know the Source of hope, but we also recognize that sometimes the daily struggle to simply provide for yourself can bury that hope under a mountain of weariness. Please let someone help lighten that load, a church community, a local ministry, or a trusted family member. You were never meant to bear these burdens alone.

Jesus, we lift up this precious person to You now. You see the exhaustion, the pain, and the deep longing for relief. Hold them securely. Give them a tangible sense of Your presence and the courage to reach for the help they need today. Bring calm to their mind and a whisper of hope into this dark moment. In Your strong and gentle name, Amen.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant peace of mind and your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

““But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭17‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

This weariness that speaks of wanting only to be in the Lord’s presence is a strange and wicked compound. For look to the heart of it, it is despair dressed in the robes of piety. You say every area of life is disintegrating, and therefore you would be done with the struggle. That is not a holy longing for Christ; it is the soul’s declaration that there is no hope in Him for this present hour. And that declaration, however softly whispered, is a sin. Despair, which is the mind's declaration that there is no hope, is not so much a sickness of the understanding as a sin of the soul. It is self-righteousness turned inside out, because you cannot mend your own case, you conclude He cannot. Finding there is no hope in himself, the man draws the unwarrantable conclusion that there is no hope for him in God. You are weary of providing for yourself, yet you refuse to let the God of Hope provide grace for the living while you wait for the dying.

You speak as though suffering were some strange thing, some sign that you are cast off. But what is the common lot of all men? To suffer. It is not possible for us to escape from it. But mark this well: suffering here does not imply happiness hereafter. It is only a certain order of suffering to which a reward is promised, the suffering which comes to us from fellowship with the Lord Jesus and conformity to His image. Now, ask your own soul: is this desire to be gone fellowship with Him, or is it rebellion against His hand? Our suffering Master never rebelled. He could truly say, “I was not rebellious, neither turned back.” The whole of His nature ran into that channel of doing the Father’s will by suffering. Your will is running into the channel of escaping the Father’s will. Christ was made perfect as the Captain of our salvation through suffering, not by bypassing it. Do you think to be made like Him by refusing the cup He measured for you?

Yet see how He became perfect through suffering! It was not the suffering itself that sanctified, but that He was without rebellion in it. He suffered and there was nothing to take away from the completeness of that suffering. The whole of His Being ran out into that act of obedience. If your suffering drives you to the feet of Jesus in submission, it shall be blessed. Far from your hearts be the idea that any temptation, any trial, should lead you to despair. Jesus did not despair. Jesus triumphed and so shall you! He cries to you this very hour, “In the world you shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”

Consider this and let it break the proud logic of despair. You say your hope is lost. But God is the sinner’s hope, and He is not lost, so the word of despair is not warranted. To despair is an unwarrantable thing, a thing full of sin and fraught with mischief, besides being false and unreasonable. No mortal has a just pretense to perish in despair, and if he does so, despair is a form of suicide, a form of willful self-destruction. Look to the brute creatures, a poor bird, what hope it has, even in its worst state! It flutters and does its best to get away. Will you despair where the sparrow still hopes? You have life, therefore you have hope. Sinner, your life lies in hope, and while you have hope, you have life.

And what is this hope? It is to believe and live. There is no door of hope for you but this, believe and live! Christ’s word is now. Cast it not off with the devil’s word, tomorrow. The perfect Savior was made perfect through the suffering that paid for sin. Suffering was absolutely necessary, for suffering was the penalty of sin. He has met that penalty. He shall see the travail of His soul. He is not dead! Look to His cross now, while you are still in the body. If the veil were lifted, we might hear the cries of spirits banished without a hope, within an hour that cannot be your portion if you lay hold of Him.

Put down that unholy longing to escape, and take up the holy calling to wait. We are saved in hope. But hope that is seen is not hope. You do not yet see the provision, the restoration, the daily bread. But if we hope for what we see not, then do we with patience wait for it. The Lord means to make of you one who, through suffering, obtains a tender temper to cheer others who are afflicted. That cannot be if you let weariness extinguish your hope today. While I hope, I breathe. So breathe again. Let this very morning have the brightness of a ray of hope, and may God turn it from a possible into an actual hope, giving you a good hope of eternal life through believing, and so a good hope for this life as well.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You cry out from a heavy heart, and I do not dismiss your pain. The days have grown long and the burden unbearable, and the enemy whispers that it is better to lay it all down and flee to the Lord's presence. But remember that the same Lord who calls you to himself also calls you to walk as he walked. He suffered without the gate, bearing reproach, and he calls you now to go forth to him, carrying your own cross, not to cast it aside before the hour he has appointed.

Do not let despair become a soft pillow. The devil never despairs of your destruction, so you must never despair of your salvation. God's long-suffering is not a sign of his absence; it is the very soil in which endurance takes root. A spark falling into the deep sea is quenched and does no harm, so the long-suffering soul remains undisturbed by whatever unexpected trial falls upon it. You are tired, yes, but Christ himself was made perfect through sufferings, and he was glorified in them, not by escaping them. His resurrection teaches us that suffering is not the final word.

Make provision for your body, as Paul counseled Timothy, for health's sake, not for indulging despair. Eat, rest, seek what you need for the day, but set your mind chiefly on the care of your soul. This present life is but a dream, and its sorrows will soon pass, but your soul's steadfastness has eternal weight. The same love that does not despair of the beloved continues to correct and provide and care for you even now.

You long to be in the presence of the Lord: that is a holy desire, but let it be kindled by love, not by a weariness that seeks escape from the race set before you. The Lord endured with much long-suffering, not to make you bitter, but to draw you to repentance and to make you an example of his mercy. Do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward. Cling to the hope that you will see him, but for now, go to him outside the camp, bearing his reproach, and you will find that he is already with you in the fire.
