Beloved Warrior
🙏 For this reason, having heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which exists among you and your love for all the saints, WE DO NOT CEASE giving thanks for you, while making mention of you in my prayers, that the God of Our Lord Jesus Christ, The Glorious Father, may give to us The Holy Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation to know Him better (Epignonowskow -- deep, personal and intimate acquaintance). Grant the eyes of our heart to be enlightened so we may know the hope of Your calling, the riches of Your glorious inheritance those You called out of darkness to light, and the surpassing greatness of Your power toward us who believe, which You exerted when You raised Christ (The Anointed and Promised King -- Messiah -- Like King David referred to King Saul as "The Lord's Anointed," -- only Jesus is "The True David of Judah's Line," "The Lord's TRUE Anointed") from the dead and seated Him at Your Right Hand in the Heavenly Places, (Right Hand of Power, Dan 7:13-14), far above all other rule, authority, power and dominion, both in this age and the age to come, and everything having been put under subjection under His feet, The Father has made Him the Head of over all things and given You (all) power for the church, which is which is Your body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all. Thank You and you all in Jesus' Name (Ephesians 1:15-23).

We join you in lifting up this powerful prayer from Ephesians 1:15-23, for it is a cry that resonates deeply with our own hearts. We too long for the Holy Spirit of wisdom and revelation to draw us into a more intimate knowledge of God, an epignosis, that deep, personal, and transformative acquaintance with Him that changes everything. How beautiful it is to stand together in agreement, asking the Father to enlighten the eyes of our hearts so that we may grasp the hope of His calling, the riches of His inheritance in the saints, and the immeasurable greatness of His power toward us who believe.

This passage is a reminder that our faith is not rooted in mere intellectual assent but in the supernatural work of the Holy Spirit, who reveals Christ to us in all His glory. Jesus is not just a historical figure or a moral teacher; He is the Anointed One, the Messiah, the True David of Judah’s line, the One whom God raised from the dead and seated at His right hand in heavenly places. He is far above all rule, authority, power, and dominion, both now and forever. And as His body, the church, we are called to walk in the fullness of His authority and power, for He has given us everything we need to live godly lives and fulfill His purposes.

We pray now, in the mighty name of Jesus, that the Father would indeed grant us this Spirit of wisdom and revelation. Open the eyes of our hearts, Lord, so that we may see You more clearly, love You more dearly, and follow You more nearly. Let us not be satisfied with surface-level faith but press in to know You in the depths of Your being. May we grasp the hope to which You have called us, the hope of eternal life, of being conformed to the image of Your Son, of reigning with Him in glory. Let us walk in the fullness of our inheritance as Your children, co-heirs with Christ, and may the power that raised Him from the dead work mightily in us to overcome sin, temptation, and every scheme of the enemy.

Father, we also lift up any who may be reading this prayer who do not yet know You through Jesus Christ. We declare that there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not belong to Him (Romans 8:9). We pray that the same Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead would quicken their hearts, convict them of sin, and draw them to repentance and faith in Christ. May they turn from darkness to light, from the power of Satan to God, and receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in Jesus (Acts 26:18).

For those who are struggling in their faith, who feel distant from You or overwhelmed by life’s challenges, we ask that You would renew their strength. Remind them that Your power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9) and that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20). Let them not grow weary in doing good, for in due season they will reap if they do not faint (Galatians 6:9).

We also rebuke every lie of the enemy that seeks to distort the truth of who You are and who we are in Christ. We declare that Jesus is Lord over every principality and power, and no weapon formed against us shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We stand firm in the armor of God, taking up the shield of faith to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one (Ephesians 6:16).

Thank You, Father, for the privilege of coming before Your throne with boldness, because of the blood of Jesus. Thank You for hearing our prayers and for the assurance that You are working all things together for the good of those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We trust in Your sovereignty, Your goodness, and Your unfailing love. May our lives be a living testimony to Your glory, and may we walk in the fullness of the power and authority You have given us in Christ.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, the Name above every name, we pray. Amen.

What a beautiful, heartfelt prayer you’ve shared, it’s clear your whole being is reaching for a deeper, more intimate knowledge of God. When we pray this way, with the eyes of our heart fixed on the hope of His calling and the greatness of His power, we’re not just asking for information; we’re stepping into the steadying reality that anchors us, no matter what swirls around us. Hope like that isn’t a fragile wish, it’s the quiet certainty that God keeps His promises, and that the same power that raised Christ is already at work in us.

As you continue, you might let this very passage from Ephesians become a daily companion, pondering one phrase at a time and noticing what the Spirit brings to the surface. Sometimes the deepest wisdom comes not in a flash but through a patient, repeated turning of the heart toward God.

Lord Jesus, thank You for this one who yearns to know You. Fill them with the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, and open the eyes of their heart so they taste the living hope, the rich inheritance, and the surpassing greatness of Your power. Let these truths become their steady ground today. Amen.

You plead for the Holy Spirit of wisdom and revelation, and this is a plea most pleasing to the heart of God, for it echoes the very prayer of the apostle. But mark this well: wisdom and revelation are not abstract gifts to be sought apart from Christ Jesus. He is the wisdom of God, and in Him are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. If you would know God deeply, you must know Christ, for no man cometh unto the Father but by Him. The knowledge that saves, that enlightens the eyes of the heart, is a personal acquaintance with the Son of God who loved you and gave Himself for you. This is not a matter of mere intellect or learning; it is a revelation born of the Spirit, causing you to behold the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

You speak of the hope of His calling, and this is a good desire. But see that you anchor this hope nowhere else than in the Lord Himself. Many have a hope that is no hope, a false peace built upon their own doings or imaginings. True hope is fastened to the finished work of Christ upon the tree. When your hope rests wholly on His blood and righteousness, then is it a good hope through grace, sure and steadfast. The riches of His inheritance among the saints are all treasured up in Christ Jesus; He has all this wealth to bestow upon His redeemed family. Fix your eye upon the Lamb slain from before the foundation of the world, and you shall glimpse those unsearchable riches.

The exceedingly great strength for which you ask is the power that raised Christ from the dead, and this same power is toward us who believe. It is the power of His resurrection. This is not merely a doctrine to be admired, but a might to be known and felt in the soul, a power that raises the spiritually dead to new life, that lifts the beggar from the dunghill to sit among princes. It is the power that subdues iniquity, conquers despair, and makes the sinner a saint. Do not only gaze upon this power as displayed in the empty tomb; seek to know its operation within your own breast, plucking out the roots of sin and planting the flowers of holiness.

The throne of God and of the Lamb is the fountain of all this grace. There Jesus sits, far above all principality and power, and all things are under His feet for the church. You come not before a sovereign who is distant or indifferent, but before the Lamb who was slain, who pleads your cause. Plead His promises, for they are the certainty of faith; plead His relationship to you as your Father in Christ, for when you can cry, “Abba, Father,” there is unspeakable power with God. Pray, then, with importunity. Lay hold of the covenant. Wrestle like Jacob until the breaking of the day.

Yet never forget that this knowledge of God is life eternal. It is a blessedness known only by personal revelation. If you know no more of Christ than the world knows, or than your own reading can uncover apart from the Spirit’s light, you have not found the secret. Bow low at the foot of the Cross, and look up. There, where the blood flows and the sacrifice is complete, the light of the knowledge of the glory of God shall dawn upon your soul. The Spirit will take of the things of Christ and show them to you, and you shall know Him, and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being made conformable to His death. Cleave fast to the Word of God, which is the revelation of His truth, and hate every false and misleading way. Trust in the Lord, and wait upon Him, for here is true wisdom, and he that thus trusteth is happy indeed. So shall the eyes of your understanding be enlightened, and you shall know what is the hope of His calling, and what the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power to us-ward who believe.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

How excellent is that prayer which lifts the soul from earthly things and asks for the Spirit of wisdom and revelation! You have not sought gold or fleeting health, but the deep knowledge of God, the hope of His calling, and the immeasurable greatness of His power toward those who believe. This is a request which the blessed Paul himself poured out for the churches night and day, and it is a prayer most pleasing to God. For no natural ability of mind can grasp these things; they are hidden from the wise of this world and revealed to babes. The human intellect, left to itself, stumbles and calls the wisdom of God foolishness. Yet when the Holy Spirit enlightens the eyes of the heart, then the soul perceives the riches of the glory of His inheritance and the staggering power that raised Christ from the dead and seated Him above every rule and authority. This is the power that works in you who believe, the very strength of His might. It is not a doctrine learned by study alone, but a living reality imparted by the Spirit to those who humble themselves.

Therefore, do not cease to give thanks and make such a petition your own, as you have done. But remember that purity of life accompanies this pursuit. The Lord does not enter a cluttered house. Cast aside carnal reasoning and every pride of intellect, and with the obedience of a child offer your heart. Just as the fishermen left their nets and Matthew left his tax booth without disputing, so must we abandon all trust in our own cleverness. Then the Spirit will strengthen you to apprehend what is the breadth and length and height and depth of the love of Christ, a knowledge that surpasses words. Be not discouraged if the world considers this folly; for the foolishness of God is mightier than human wisdom, and by it we overcome all sin and confusion. Hold fast to the hope that is set before you, grounded in the risen and ascended Lord, and the Father of glory will surely grant you the rich acquaintance which you seek.

Your prayer rises straight from the heart of Paul’s own intercession, and it is the very thing the Holy Spirit loves to accomplish. When you ask for the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, you are not merely requesting more knowledge about God, but the gift of knowing Him intimately, the deep, personal acquaintance that transforms a life. This is the same Spirit who rested fully on Jesus, the sevenfold work of wisdom, understanding, counsel, might, knowledge, fear of the Lord, and quick understanding. He alone can enlighten the eyes of your heart so that you see what is already yours in Christ.

Consider the hope of His calling. It is not an uncertain wish, but a living certainty anchored in the resurrection. The Father exerted the same power that raised Jesus from the dead and seated Him above every rule, authority, and dominion, not just in this age but in the age to come. That power is toward you who believe. It is not distant; it is the very life of the Spirit at work in you now, guaranteeing that what God began He will complete. Your calling is wrapped up in Christ’s own glory, and as you behold Him, that hope becomes the steady anchor of your soul.

The inheritance you asked about is breathtaking. You are not merely an heir of future riches; you are part of what the Father values so highly, the saints, His own portion, purchased by the blood of the Lamb. In the heavenly scene, the redeemed sing a song no angel can sing, declaring the worthiness of the Lamb to receive power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing. The Father sees you in that chorus, and He has assigned you a share in that same inheritance that will never fade. Every time you glimpse Jesus as He truly is, you taste a little more of that reality.

So continue to ask. The Spirit who searches the deep things of God will faithfully take what belongs to Christ and reveal it to you. The same throne that governs the universe is the throne of grace, and the Lamb who sits there is not ashamed to call you His own. As you pray this prayer, you are aligning yourself with the eternal purpose of God, and He will answer by drawing you further into the light of His glory.

We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to stand with you in prayer, lifting up your heartfelt request for the Holy Spirit of wisdom and revelation to know God more intimately. What a privilege it is to join you in seeking the eyes of your heart to be enlightened—to grasp the hope of His calling, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints, and the surpassing greatness of His power toward those who believe.

As we continue to trust in the Lord’s perfect timing, we encourage you to share any praise reports if He has moved in response to this prayer. If you are still waiting, we stand ready to lift this request again, believing that God is faithful to answer according to His will. May He deepen your understanding, strengthen your faith, and draw you ever closer to Him as you seek His face.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
