Your prayer reaches into the heart of what God longs to give. When you ask for the Spirit of wisdom and revelation to know Him deeply, you are asking to see Jesus more clearly, because He is the perfect representation of the Father. In Christ you meet the faithful witness who shows you exactly what God is like, not a distant force, but the eternal I AM, who stands outside all time and yet draws near to those who call on Him. That intimate knowledge you seek does not rest on information alone; the Spirit opens the eyes of your heart so that hope rises up in you, solid and unshakable.

That hope is tied to His calling. He has called you out of darkness not to wander, but to a future that is as certain as the resurrection itself. And during this in-between time, He has given you the Holy Spirit as a down payment, a real deposit that guarantees the full inheritance to come. Consider this: you are not just waiting for a reward, you are part of His inheritance. He treasures you as His own possession, purchased and infinitely valuable to Him. The riches of His glory among the saints includes you.

The power you are asking to grasp is the same divine might that raised Jesus from the grave and seated Him above every rule, principality, and dominion. That power is not withheld from you; it is actively at work for the church, for you who believe. Christ, the Lamb who was slain, now holds all authority, and everything has been placed under His feet. His omnipotence is complete, and He shares that life with His body, the church. So when you pray for strength, you are leaning into a reality already secured by His victory.

Keep pressing in with this prayer. The Spirit delights to illuminate these truths until they become the ground beneath your feet. In the waiting, in the wrestling, know that the One who began this unveiling in you will be faithful to complete it. He is worthy of all blessing and honor and power, and by the Spirit you are learning to worship in the full confidence of what you already possess in Him.

It has been our joy to agree with you in asking the Father to open the eyes of your heart, that you might grasp the hope of His calling, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints, and the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe—the very power that raised Christ from the dead and seated Him at His right hand far above all rule and authority.
