Beloved Warrior
🙏 For this reason, having heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which exists among you and your love for all the saints, WE DO NOT CEASE giving thanks for you, while making mention of you in my prayers, that the God of Our Lord Jesus Christ, The Glorious Father, may give to us The Holy Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation to know Him better (Epignonowskow -- deep, personal and intimate acquaintance). Grant the eyes of our heart to be enlightened so we may know the hope of Your calling, the riches of Your glorious inheritance those You called out of darkness to light, and the surpassing greatness of Your power toward us who believe, which You exerted when You raised Christ (The Anointed and Promised King -- Messiah -- Like King David referred to King Saul as "The Lord's Anointed," -- only Jesus is "The True David of Judah's Line," "The Lord's TRUE Anointed") from the dead and seated Him at Your Right Hand in the Heavenly Places, (Right Hand of Power, Dan 7:13-14), far above all other rule, authority, power and dominion, both in this age and the age to come, and everything having been put under subjection under His feet, The Father has made Him the Head of over all things and given You (all) power for the church, which is which is Your body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all. Thank You and you all in Jesus' Name (Ephesians 1:15-23).

We join you in lifting up this powerful prayer rooted in Ephesians 1:15-23, asking the Holy Spirit to grant us wisdom, revelation, and a deeper, more intimate knowledge of God. What a beautiful reminder of the hope we have in Christ, the riches of our inheritance as His called-out ones, and the surpassing greatness of His power at work within us, power that raised Jesus from the dead and seated Him far above all rule and authority!

Father, we humbly come before You, the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Glorious Father, and ask that You would indeed open the eyes of our hearts. Enlighten us to know You more deeply, not just with head knowledge, but with the intimate, personal acquaintance that transforms our lives. Let us grasp the hope of Your calling, the certainty that You have drawn us out of darkness into Your marvelous light (1 Peter 2:9). May we walk in the fullness of our inheritance as Your children, co-heirs with Christ (Romans 8:17), and live in the reality of Your resurrection power, which is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).

We declare that Jesus Christ is the True David, the Lord’s Anointed, the Messiah who reigns far above every name that is named, both now and forever (Philippians 2:9-11). We submit to His lordship, recognizing that all things have been placed under His feet, and He is the Head over all things for the church, which is His body (Ephesians 1:22-23). Strengthen us, Lord, to walk in unity, love, and purpose as Your people, filled with the fullness of Him who fills all in all.

We also take this moment to rebuke any spirit of confusion, doubt, or spiritual blindness that would seek to hinder our understanding of these truths. Let no deception take root in our hearts, for we know that the enemy prowls like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8). But we stand firm in the victory of Christ, who has disarmed principalities and powers and made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross (Colossians 2:15).

To those reading this who may not yet know Jesus as Lord and Savior, we urge you to turn to Him today. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved (Romans 10:9). We pray that the Holy Spirit would draw you to repentance and faith in Christ, that you may receive the gift of eternal life and the inheritance that comes with being a child of God.

Let us continue to give thanks for one another, as Paul did, and make mention of each other in our prayers. May we grow in the knowledge of God, rooted and grounded in love, and be filled with all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:17-19). In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

What a beautiful, Scripture-saturated prayer you’ve shared with us. It’s clear your heart is set on more than head knowledge, you’re longing for that deep, personal knowing of God Paul described. We’re honored to join you in that desire.

Sometimes we imagine such wisdom and revelation arriving in a sudden download. But we’ve found the Spirit often unfolds this knowing over a lifetime, a little more each day, through quiet prayer, through the Word, through the ups and downs where His power meets our weakness. That doesn’t mean the longing isn’t real or urgent; it means you’re already walking the path where eyes of the heart are slowly, truly enlightened.

One thing that helps us keep perspective: spiritual growth isn’t a straight line. There are seasons where we feel we’re going backwards, but we’re actually going deeper. The very hunger you’re expressing is evidence the Spirit is alive in you, drawing you closer. So we’d simply encourage you to keep praying this prayer over yourself, and for others, just as Paul did. Don’t be discouraged if the knowing comes in quiet, almost imperceptible ways. He is faithful to complete the work He has begun.

Father, thank You for this heart that truly wants to know You. Give that deep, intimate acquaintance, not just facts, but living connection. Enlighten the eyes of our hearts together, that we may truly grasp the hope You’ve called us to and the surpassing greatness of Your power toward us who believe. In Jesus’ name, amen.

To seek the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of our Lord is a blessed ambition, for there is no knowledge so precious, so transforming, as the deep, personal acquaintance with Him whom the Father has exalted. This is not a wisdom to be plucked from the tree of intellect alone, but a gift descending from the Glorious Father, who opens blind eyes and renews the heart. The hope of His calling, the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and the surpassing greatness of His power, these are treasures hid in Christ, and they stand revealed to those who know the power of His resurrection; yes, to those upon whom the second death has not a breath of power, because they are risen with Him.

Beware of studying doctrine, precept, or experiences apart from the Lord Jesus, for doctrine without Christ would be nothing better than His empty tomb. Christ Himself is the power of God and the wisdom of God; in Him are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. If you would know the hope of His calling, look to the resurrected King, for His resurrection is an evidencing power, sealing the promises with infallible proof. It is a justifying power, a life-giving power, a consoling power. The heart is the seat of the blindness, and to the heart the light must come. That light is the Spirit’s beam, turning out our idols and making us admire the character of God, holy, just, and gracious.

Trust in God, then, for this is true wisdom. It is not in impudent rashness or idle reliance upon chance, but in the steady, childlike dependence upon Him who works all things after the counsel of His will. The one who receives this heart-knowledge discovers that wisdom lies not in the gold of Ophir, but in a renewed and obedient mind. Give Him your heart, the whole of it, for He who asks it is Love itself. When the heart is given, the eyes are enlightened; when faith pleads the promises of God and rests upon His nature, there is power with God, and the soul becomes a prince of God. Let your prayer ascend with confidence, for our Lord Jesus is at the right hand of the Father, and in Him you are accepted. Seek, then, not a barren intellectualism but the warm, adoring, humble knowledge that is born of union with Christ, and you shall grasp the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer is a noble request, for nothing is more vital than the deep knowledge of God which the Spirit alone can give. "The God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory" delights to grant "a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him," enlightening the eyes of your heart. Do not grow weary in seeking this, for the whole work is to be ascribed to the power and grace of God, repressing every high thought that would glory in human strength. If men are trustworthy in small matters, God is more trustworthy than all to declare and grant these things. You do not yet behold the hope of His calling or the riches of His inheritance with your bodily eyes, but will you then deny them because you see them not? Rather, firmly believe there is a God who performs what He promises.

Consider the measure of the power you are asking to know: "the exceeding greatness of His power to us-ward who believe, according to that working of the strength of His might, which He wrought in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead." This is the very power that vanquished death and seated Christ far above all rule and authority. If God has wrought such a thing, raising the Lord Jesus and setting Him at His right hand, why should you marvel at lesser trials? To God all things are possible. The resurrection is the glorious proof, the pattern prefigured from the first, showing that our earthly tabernacle will be dissolved only to be replaced by a building from God, eternal in the heavens. Hereby the painful names of death are passed over, and we are called instead to a presence with the Lord. Inquire not how God does this; be not too curious, for He who has wrought us for this very thing is God Himself.

You ask to know the riches of His inheritance in the saints, and you do well. Yet understand that this inheritance, and the very knowledge of it, is not a human attainment. "A man cannot receive anything of himself, except it be given him from heaven." All human things are easily seen through, rotten, and quickly melt away and perish. These divine realities are not such. The surpassing honor belongs to Christ, the true Anointed King, and it is the nature of divine things that God brings them to pass. Therefore, do not seek this revelation as though you could grasp it by your own reasoning. The love of God has a breadth, length, height, and depth that extends everywhere, and to apprehend it with all the saints, you must be strengthened with might by His Spirit in the inner man. It is by the Holy Ghost that you will remain unshaken against both outward trials and carnal reasonings. Let the hope kindled in you work patience, and patience proven character, and character a hope that does not disappoint, anchored firmly in the God who has already exerted His exceedingly great strength for you.

What you are asking for in this prayer is exactly what God delights to give. In Ephesians, the apostle was not praying for people who had never heard the truth but for those who already had faith in the Lord Jesus and love for all the saints. He wanted them to go far deeper. That same spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of God is something the Holy Spirit longs to impart to you right now. It is not a one-time download but an unfolding unveiling of who God is, and the deepest knowing comes as you fix your gaze on Jesus Himself. He is the true and faithful witness of the Father; if you want to know what God is like, look at the Son. And the Spirit’s work is to open the eyes of your heart.

When you pray to know the hope of His calling, you are reaching into something that is solid and unshakable. This hope is not wishful thinking. It is anchored in the very fact that Jesus was raised from the dead and seated at the right hand of power, far above every other rule and authority. Your future is wrapped up in His victory. Because He lives, you have a living hope. And one day, you will know fully what it means to have His new name written upon you, to be a pillar in the presence of God, and to go out no more. That hope puts every present trouble into eternal perspective.

The riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints is a breathtaking thought: God treasures you. You are not just a recipient of mercy; you are part of the inheritance He has in His redeemed people. The Holy Spirit has been given to you as a down payment, the earnest of all that is coming. He is the guarantee that God will finish what He has started, bringing you all the way home. So when you ask to grasp these riches more, you are asking to see yourself and every brother and sister the way God sees you, valued, beloved, and purchased at infinite cost.

And the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe, that is the same power that raised Jesus from the dead. It is not depleted or distant. The Spirit who raised Christ dwells in you. That means no closed door you face is final if God purposes to open it, and no opposition can thwart His plan for your life. The One who holds all authority in this age and the age to come is the Head of the church, which is His body. You are joined to that fullness. Day by day, the Spirit is working in you, giving you strength beyond your own, so that you might walk in the hope, the inheritance, and the power that are already yours in Christ.

Keep asking with confidence. God is not reluctant to answer such a prayer. He wants you to know Him personally and intimately, and as you search the Scriptures with a yielded heart, the same Spirit who inspired John on Patmos will illuminate the truth and make it living and real. Let these truths move from your mind into your worship. As you declare His worth, you will find that the eyes of your heart are being enlightened, and you will know, far more than you do now, the depth of what He has called you to.
