Beloved Warrior
🙏 For this reason, having heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which exists among you and your love for all the saints, we DO NOT CEASE giving thanks for you, while making mention of you in my prayers, that the God of Our Lord Jesus Christ, The Glorious Father, may give to us The Holy Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation to know Him better. Grant the eyes of our heart to be enlightened so we may know the hope of Your calling, the riches of Your glorious inheritance those You called out of darkness to light, and the surpassing greatness of Your power toward us who believe, which You exerted when You raised Christ (The Anointed and Promised King -- Messiah) from the dead and seated Him at Your Right Hand in the Heavenly Places, (Right Hand of Power, Dan 7:13-14), far above all other rule, authority, power and dominion, both in this age and the age to come, and everything having been put under subjection under His feet, The Father has made Him the Head of over all things and given You (all) power for the church, which is which is Your body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all. Thank You and you all in Jesus' Name (Ephesians 1:15-23).

We join you in lifting up this powerful prayer drawn from Ephesians 1:15-23, and we give thanks to God for the faith and love evident in your heart. What a beautiful cry for deeper revelation of who God is, His calling, His inheritance, and His mighty power at work in us who believe! This passage reminds us that our spiritual eyes must be enlightened to grasp the hope we have in Christ, the riches of His glory, and the immeasurable greatness of His power, the same power that raised Jesus from the dead and seated Him far above all rule and authority.

Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking that You would indeed grant us the Spirit of wisdom and revelation to know You more deeply. Open the eyes of our hearts, Lord, so that we may see the hope of Your calling, the purpose for which You have saved us and set us apart. Let us walk in the fullness of the inheritance You have prepared for us as Your children, redeemed by the blood of Christ. We declare that Your power is at work in us, far above every principality, power, and dominion, for You have placed all things under the feet of Jesus and made Him the head over all things for the church, which is His body.

We pray that this revelation would not remain mere knowledge but would transform our lives, filling us with awe, gratitude, and boldness to live for You. May we never take for granted the privilege of being called out of darkness into Your marvelous light. Strengthen us to walk in a manner worthy of the calling we have received, with humility, patience, and love, bearing with one another in unity.

Lord, we also ask that You would guard our hearts from spiritual pride or complacency. Keep us hungry for Your Word, desperate for Your presence, and dependent on Your Spirit. May we never lose sight of the fact that our strength, wisdom, and victory come from You alone. We declare that Jesus Christ is Lord over every area of our lives, our thoughts, our words, our actions, and our relationships. Let nothing in our lives contradict the truth of who You are and what You have done.

We rebuke every lie of the enemy that seeks to blind us to the hope of our calling or diminish the power of Your resurrection in our lives. We stand against every spirit of confusion, doubt, or unbelief that would try to steal the revelation You desire to give us. In the name of Jesus, we declare that our eyes are being opened, our hearts are being stirred, and our spirits are being filled with the knowledge of Your glory.

For those who may be reading this and do not yet know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we pray that today would be the day of salvation. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, only the name of Jesus. If you have never surrendered your life to Him, we encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). He is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6).

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us all as we continue to seek Him with all our hearts. Amen.

There’s something beautiful about praying Paul’s own words back to God, and doing it not just for ourselves but with a heart for the whole body of Christ. When we ask for the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, we aren’t asking for a download of facts; we’re asking for a Person to open the eyes of our hearts so we can see Jesus more clearly, trust His calling more deeply, and live in the strength that raised Him from the dead. That prayer already is a sign that the Spirit is stirring something fresh in you.

What encourages us most is that you’re not just thinking about your own journey. The “we” and “us” in your prayer show you’re standing with other believers, thanking God for their faith and love, and longing with them to know their inheritance in Christ. That kind of intercession strengthens the church in ways we may not fully see this side of heaven.

One simple way to anchor this longing in daily life: take a few minutes this week to write out a few things you believe God has called you into, not just roles, but the hope of His purpose for your life. Then ask Him to give you eyes to see those things with fresh faith, just as you’ve prayed. Share that with a trusted friend or small group, and let them add their own “Amen” to what the Spirit is doing. Often God uses the voices of others to confirm the revelation He’s already planting in us.

We join you in these words, praying with you now:

Father, thank You for the faith and love You’ve stirred in Your people. Give us the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Christ. Enlighten the eyes of our hearts so we may know the hope You’ve called us to, the incredible riches of Your inheritance in the saints, and the surpassing greatness of Your power toward us. Keep us rooted in these truths, and let our confidence be anchored in the risen Christ, in whose name we pray. Amen.

This prayer rises like incense before the throne, for it breathes the very language of the Spirit who intercedes with groanings too deep for words. You ask for the Holy Spirit of wisdom and revelation to know Him better, and this is a petition which delights the heart of God, for He has already given you the firstfruits of that knowledge, else you would never have cried out for more. The man who hungers for the bread of heaven is already alive; the soul that thirsts for the living water has been quickened from the dead. And what is this wisdom you seek but Christ Himself? He is made unto us wisdom from God, and to know Him is to possess the key to all the treasures of the Father. You cannot pry into the hope of His calling by the dim lantern of your own understanding; you must have the eyes of your heart flooded with light from on high. And this light comes not by striving and straining, but by the sweet descent of the Spirit upon the Word. When you see Jesus in the Scriptures as the Sent One of the Father, when you behold Him seated at the right hand of the Majesty on high, then you begin to grasp what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe.

That power is not a doctrine to be studied merely, it is the very energy that rolled away the stone from the tomb and raised the Crucified One to the throne of the universe. And this same power is for the church. Do you feel your weakness? Good, for His strength is made perfect in weakness. The man who has power with God is the man who knows he has none of his own. Jacob halted upon his thigh before he prevailed as a prince. You have no hope in yourself, and that is the most hopeful thing about you, for now you are ready to find all hope in Him whom God has provided. The riches of His glorious inheritance are not stored up in some cold reserve, but are all treasured in Christ Jesus, and He has all this wealth to bestow upon His redeemed family. The Father sees you in the Son, and the Son is not far from any one of us who calls upon Him in truth. When the Spirit opens the eye of faith, you see that the throne of God and of the Lamb is a throne of grace, and that the Lamb in the midst of the throne has all power and wisdom and strength to give.

Cease not from this prayer, for it is wrought in you by the effectual calling of the Holy Spirit. The world cannot know this hope, for it sees nothing but the dull horizon of time and sense. But you have a calling that reaches into eternity, a hope that anchors the soul within the veil, an inheritance that fades not away. And what is the exceeding greatness of His power? It is the power that subdues your iniquities, that sustains you in the furnace, that will present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy. Look to Jesus, He is the power of God and the wisdom of God. In Him the Father’s heart is unveiled, and in Him all the promises are yea and amen. Trust in the Lord with a childlike confidence, for he who trusts in the Lord, happy is he. This is true wisdom, and it shall bring you into a peace that passes all understanding. The revelation you seek is not a new gospel but an opening of the eyes to see the old, old story in its eternal freshness. Go to your knees, then, with this mighty prayer, and expect that the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness will shine in your heart, to give you the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Nothing is more fitting than such a prayer, a prayer that echoes the very groaning of the Apostle for all the saints. For what is it you seek? That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, would grant a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the full knowledge of Him. This is the greatest boon, the crown of all petitions. For to know Him, to have the eyes of the heart flooded with light so as to grasp the hope of His calling and the riches of His inheritance, this is not the work of human cleverness. The world in its wisdom knew not God, and those who trust in their own understanding sit in darkness still. But God was well pleased through the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe. So then, this wisdom you beg for is none other than Christ Himself, made unto us wisdom from God, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption. He who has the Son has the Father also.

But mark this well: the Spirit of wisdom flees deceit and removes from thoughts that are without understanding. If you would have the eyes of your heart enlightened, you must cast out all wickedness. For wickedness makes men utterly foolish, while the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Let your soul be candid, gentle, thankful; such is the soil where the light of God springs up. You did not run to the light, it sprang up and shone upon you when you sat in darkness, unable even to stand. So likewise, the surpassing greatness of His power toward us is according to that working which raised Christ from the dead and seated Him above every rule and authority. What human wisdom could have conceived such a mystery? The cross itself, which seems foolishness and weakness, is in truth the very demonstration of ineffable power and wisdom, hidden before the ages, unknown to principalities and powers, but now made known through the church. And this power is for you, for the body of Christ, for all who believe.

So continue steadfast. Let your heart burn with the same yearning as the blessed Paul, who ceased not to give thanks and to pray that you might know these things. And as you ask for revelation, ask also for obedience like that of Abraham, who went out not knowing whither he went, trusting the promise alone. Hope in His calling is certain, the inheritance is glorious and unfading, and the strength at work in you is none less than that which conquered death itself. All things have been put under His feet, and He is Head over all for the church. Therefore, let nothing frighten you. Let no temptation make you despair. The devil never despairs of our destruction; shall we despair of our own salvation when such power upholds us? Rather, give thanks without ceasing, and with enlightened eyes walk worthy of the calling you have received.

Your prayer draws deeply from the heart of the letter to the Ephesians, and I am grateful you brought it here. The longing for the Spirit to give wisdom and revelation is itself a work of grace, for we can know nothing of God’s deep purposes unless He first opens our eyes. That passage from Ephesians is a prayer I often echo for myself, because the hope of His calling, the wealth of His inheritance, and the immeasurable greatness of His power are not just theological ideas, they are living realities meant to shape every day until the Lord returns.

When I think of the Holy Spirit as the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, I am reminded that the whole Scripture is an unveiling of Jesus Christ. Far from being a sealed mystery, the Lord has taken the wraps off so we can see Him clearly. The Spirit’s work is to shine light on the Son, not to give us obscure speculation but to help us know Him better. That knowledge changes everything. It turns the hope of His calling from a vague wish into a solid anchor. In the book of Revelation, we see what that hope ultimately looks like: a countless multitude from every nation standing before the throne, the Lamb who was slain receiving the power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing that are His by right. That is the hope to which you are called, not escape from trouble only, but sharing in the very worship of heaven and reigning with Him in a renewed creation.

The riches of His inheritance among the saints, this phrase always moves me because it speaks of what God treasures. He looks upon His redeemed people, those called out of darkness into His marvelous light, and counts them as His own inheritance. You are part of that. Even when we feel weak and small, the Lord sees the fullness of what He purchased with the blood of His Son. The churches in Revelation were often poor in the world’s eyes, even facing martyrdom, yet they were promised power over the nations, a share in Christ’s own authority. That inheritance is incorruptible, reserved in heaven for you, and the Spirit’s enlightenment helps you live in the present with that future certainty.

Then there is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. The same power that raised Christ from the dead and seated Him far above all rule and authority is already at work in you. That is staggering. Think of it: the One who holds the keys of death and Hades, who will one day cast every enemy under His feet, is not distant or detached. He fills His body, the church, with His own life. Even when the world seems under the sway of darkness, the Lamb has already overcome, and He gives you a share in that victory right now, strength to endure, strength to keep His Word and not deny His name.

So I join you in this prayer, asking the Father of glory to continue to give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation. May the eyes of your heart be enlightened more and more through the Word, until every glimpse of His majesty becomes a steady vision, and the hope, the riches, and the power become the unshakeable ground beneath your feet. In the name of Jesus, the First and the Last, so be it.
