🙇🏻 Holy Spirit of Wisdom & Revelation to Know God, The Hope of His Calling, Riches of His Inheritance & His Exceedingly Great Strength, Eph 1:15-23

Beloved Warrior
🙏 For this reason, having heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which exists among you and your love for all the saints, we DO NOT CEASE giving thanks for you, while making mention of you in my prayers, that the God of Our Lord Jesus Christ, The Glorious Father, may give to us The Holy Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation to know Him better. Grant the eyes of our heart to be enlightened so we may know the hope of Your calling, the riches of Your glorious inheritance those You called out of darkness to light, and the surpassing greatness of Your power toward us who believe, which You exerted when You raised Christ (The Lord's True Anointed and Promised King -- Messiah) from the dead and seated Him at Your Right Hand in the Heavenly Places, (Right Hand of Power, Dan 7:13-14), far above all other rule, authority, power and dominion, both in this age and the age to come, and everything having been put under subjection under His feet, The Father has made Him the Head of over all things and given You (all) power for the church, which is which is Your body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all. Thank You and you all in Jesus' Name (Ephesians 1:15-23).

We join you in gratitude for the faith and love evident among the saints, and we echo the apostle Paul’s prayer in Ephesians 1:15-23 with hearts lifted to the Father of glory. Indeed, we do not cease to give thanks for you and make mention of you in our prayers, asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ would grant you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him. May the eyes of your heart be enlightened to know the hope of His calling, the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, power that raised Christ from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule, authority, power, and dominion.

This prayer is a profound reminder of the victory we have in Christ, who is the head over all things for the church, which is His body. We stand in awe of the truth that He fills all in all, and we rejoice in the assurance that His power is at work within us. Let us never forget that this power is not merely for our personal comfort but for the advancement of His kingdom and the glory of His name.

Yet, as we pray for wisdom and revelation, we must also examine our hearts to ensure that our lives align with the calling we have received. The hope of His calling is not just a future promise but a present reality that should shape how we live. Are we walking in a manner worthy of the calling with which we have been called (Ephesians 4:1)? Are we putting off the old self and putting on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness (Ephesians 4:22-24)? The riches of His inheritance are not just for us to enjoy but for us to steward, reflecting His love and truth to a world in darkness.

Let us also remember that the power we have in Christ is not for selfish gain but for service to others. Jesus Himself said, "Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be slave of all" (Mark 10:43-44). As we seek the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, let us ask God to show us how to use His power to build up the body of Christ and to reach those who are lost.

Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We thank You for the faith and love that You have poured out among Your people. We ask that You would grant us the Spirit of wisdom and revelation so that we may know You more deeply. Enlighten the eyes of our hearts, Lord, so that we may grasp the hope to which You have called us, the riches of Your glorious inheritance in the saints, and the incomparable greatness of Your power for us who believe.

Help us to walk in a manner worthy of the calling we have received, with all humility, gentleness, patience, and love. May we be unified in the Spirit, bound together by peace, as we grow into the fullness of Christ. Let Your power work mightily within us, not for our glory, but for Yours. Use us, Lord, to bring light to those in darkness, to share the hope of the gospel, and to make disciples of all nations.

We pray for those who may be struggling to see the hope of Your calling or who feel distant from the riches of Your inheritance. Draw them near, Lord, and remind them of the power that is at work within them. Strengthen their faith, renew their hope, and fill them with Your love. May they experience the surpassing greatness of Your power, the same power that raised Christ from the dead.

Father, we also pray for those who do not yet know You. Soften their hearts, open their eyes, and let them see the truth of the gospel. May they come to know Jesus as Lord and Savior, and may they be added to the number of Your saints. Use us, Lord, as vessels of Your love and truth, that we may lead others to You.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness and faithfulness, knowing that You are able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to Your power that is at work within us. To You be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

Thank you for lifting up this prayer, it echoes the deep hunger that keeps a church alive. We are asking along with you that the Father would pour out the Spirit of wisdom and revelation on your community, so that He is no longer a distant concept but a person you know, trust, and enjoy more each day.

We’ve learned that this kind of knowing rarely comes all at once. Often God answers these Ephesians prayers not through a single lightning flash, but through the slow, steady work of staying in His Word, worshiping together, and letting the truth re‑shape our inner eyes. That’s where hope stops being wishful thinking and becomes a solid anchor. So when the daily grind crowds in, take heart, the longing itself is evidence that the Spirit is already stirring in you.

A practical step might be to gather a few others regularly around this exact passage. Not to study it only, but to pray it aloud for your church family, listening quietly for what the Spirit puts on your hearts. As you do, you’ll find yourselves living in the very hope and strength you are asking for.

Let’s pray now.

Father, thank You for placing this prayer on our hearts. Give us the Spirit of wisdom and revelation so we truly know You. Enlighten the eyes of our hearts to grasp the hope You have called us to, the riches of Your inheritance, and the immeasurable greatness of Your power toward us. May that very power, the same strength that raised Jesus from the dead, work deeply in us and through us, drawing us closer to You and to one another. In Jesus’ name, amen.

How the soul longs to climb beyond the mere hearing of doctrine into the blessed experience of Divine realities! This prayer, drawn from the Apostle’s own, is a sweet incense before the throne, for it begs not for earthly trinkets but for the unsearchable riches of Christ. To know Him, truly know Him, is the sum of all true wisdom. The Spirit of wisdom and revelation must open the eyes, for the natural man cannot discern the things of God. Yet when that illumination comes, the heart beholds such glory that all the world’s brightness turns to shadow.

The hope of His calling is a firm anchor, fixed not in the shifting sands of time but in the eternal purpose of Him who chose us in Christ before the foundation of the world. This hope is not a doleful wish, but a living certainty, for it rests upon the immutable promise of the Faithful One. The riches of His inheritance in the saints, what tongue can tell the treasures laid up for the redeemed? Even now, we are heirs of God, joint-heirs with Christ; the Holy Spirit gives us an earnest of that purchased possession, a foretaste of the vintage that shall fill the cup of eternal joy.

But the heart of your supplication lies in the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe. This is no ordinary strength, no transient flicker of Divine might. It is the very dynamism that thundered in the deep when Christ burst the bars of death and rose triumphant. The resurrection of our Lord was not merely a display of power, it was the seal of our redemption, the proof that the Father accepted the sacrifice, and the pledge that every promise shall be fulfilled. The same energy that lifted the stone, shattered the seal, and raised the crucified body from the tomb, now works effectually in every soul that trusts in Him.

Do not think this power is distant or reserved for some future age. It is toward us who believe, operative now, subduing iniquity, conquering despair, quickening dead hearts, and enabling us to walk in newness of life. To know Him and the power of His resurrection is to experience the daily resurrection of the spirit from the grave of sin, to feel the quickening impulse that transforms the drudgery of duty into the delight of love. This power is supremely seen in the enthronement of the Man Christ Jesus at the right hand of the Majesty on high. There He sits, far above all principality and power, the head over all things to His church. And in Him, we are raised to sit in heavenly places, not as idle spectators but as partakers of His dominion. The church is His body, the fullness of Him that fills all in all. Such union with the exalted Head is the secret of strength; severed from Him, we can do nothing, but abiding in Him, His omnipotence flows through our weakness.

Therefore, let your prayer rise with unwavering confidence. The covenant is sealed by the blood of the Lamb; the ark of His covenant is ever before the throne. The Lord God omnipotent reigns, and His true sayings stand sure. He who espoused the ancient church to Himself with bands of love remains the Husband of His chosen, faithful though we prove wayward, tender though we prove dull. Trust in the Lord, for in such trust is the wise handling of all matters, both temporal and eternal. He is the Rock, immutable, unchanging, a sure defense in every storm. Look to Him, rest on Him, and the Spirit shall teach you more and more of the hope, the riches, and the power that are yours in Christ Jesus. Blessed is he that thus trusts, for he shall not be confounded.

To seek from God the Spirit of wisdom and revelation is to ask for the very thing that opens the eyes of the heart. For without this Spirit, we cannot know the hope of His calling or the riches of His glorious inheritance. Yet even as we pray for this, we must approach with a reverential mind, for the things prepared for those who love God surpass all understanding. When we speak of God's power that raised Christ from the dead, we utter words that no tongue can fully express. How can the mind comprehend the One who is everywhere, who is without beginning? We speak and do not understand, and that itself gives glory to God, because He is greater than our thought.

But this is not to discourage your prayer; it is to purify it. The same Apostle who wrote these words to the Ephesians did not cease to give thanks for them, making mention of them in his prayers. He yearned for them to know what he himself could not fully utter. So pray boldly, but know that the answer comes in a way that exceeds knowledge. The Spirit is Light, and He will enlighten the eyes of your heart, not that you might comprehend as with the natural mind, but that you might grasp in faith the hope laid up for you.

And consider this: the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe is the very power that raised Christ and seated Him at the right hand of the Father. This power has drawn you from darkness to light, from enmity to sonship. It is a power that works in you now, transforming you into the image of the Son. Do not think that this wisdom and revelation are given for your private enjoyment. They are a stewardship. You are entrusted with them, as the parable of the talents teaches, to dispense them faithfully and wisely for the common advantage of the body, the church. If you are faithful and do not purloin the Master's goods, but also wise to dispense as is fit, you will hear, "Well done."

Therefore, let your prayer be joined with thanksgiving. For you have been called, you have received an inheritance, and you have been given power. This is the work of the Spirit who is poured out into our hearts. Rejoice that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, has already begun to answer your prayer. Continue to ask, and as you receive, use what you are given to build up the saints, that the whole body may grow into the fullness of Him who fills all in all.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

What a beautiful prayer you have brought before the Lord, drawn straight from Ephesians and filled with longing for the Spirit of wisdom and revelation. That kind of desire does not come from ourselves; it is the work of God drawing you deeper into the knowledge of His Son. You are asking to know the hope of His calling, the riches of His glorious inheritance, and the immeasurable greatness of His power toward us who believe. And these are not hidden secrets He withholds, but truths He is eager to unveil to hearts that seek Him.

The word “revelation” itself means an unveiling, a pulling back of the curtains. Many people imagine that the book of Revelation is a sealed mystery too difficult to understand, but in truth it is the opposite. It is the lifting of every cover so we can see Jesus Christ as He truly is, exalted and triumphant. There we find the Lamb who was slain standing at the center of the throne, and the cry goes up that He is worthy to receive power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing. What is remarkable is that the church joins in that song, because we have been redeemed by His blood. Your hope is as certain as His resurrection, and your inheritance is kept secure by the same power that seated Him at the right hand of the Father, far above every rule and authority and dominion.

That same surpassing power is at work in you right now. Jesus Himself declared that all power in heaven and on earth has been given to Him, and He exercises it for the sake of His body, the church. When you feel weak or uncertain, remember that strength is perfected in your very frailty, and that the God who raised Christ from the dead will give life to your mortal frame as you trust in Him. The eyes of your heart are being enlightened day by day as you continue in faith and love for the saints. Keep His word and do not deny His name, even when pressures come. The promise to the one who overcomes is breathtaking: authority to rule with Christ and to be with Him where He is. That is the inheritance toward which we press.

There will be an hour of trial coming upon the whole earth, but our blessed hope is that the Lord will keep those who have held fast to His patience. You are not destined for the wrath to come, but for salvation and the fullness of His presence. So let this prayer keep rising from your heart. Give thanks without ceasing, ask boldly for the Spirit’s wisdom, and watch as He opens the Scriptures to you and reveals the risen, reigning Christ in greater and greater glory. He who fills all in all is already at work, and He will complete what He began.

We have been blessed to lift you up before the throne of grace, joining our hearts with yours as we prayed for the Holy Spirit of wisdom and revelation to deepen your knowledge of God. It is a sacred privilege to stand in agreement with you, asking our Glorious Father to enlighten the eyes of your heart so you may grasp the hope of His calling, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints, and the immeasurable greatness of His power toward us who believe—the same power that raised Christ from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in heavenly places.

If the Lord has answered this prayer in ways you have already seen, we rejoice with you and invite you to share a praise report so we may glorify God together. If you are still waiting to experience the fullness of this revelation, we encourage you to post this request again so we may continue to intercede on your behalf. Our prayers remain with you, trusting that as you seek Him, the Father will draw near and reveal more of Himself through His Son, Jesus Christ.

May His peace guard your heart and mind as you walk in the light of His truth. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
