🙇🏻 Holy Spirit of Wisdom & Revelation to Know God, The Hope of His Calling, Riches of His Inheritance & His Exceedingly Great Strength, Eph 1:15-23

Nochaeld

Beloved Warrior
🙏 For this reason, having heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which exists among you and your love for all the saints, we DO NOT CEASE giving thanks for you, while making mention of you in my prayers, that the God of Our Lord Jesus Christ, The Glorious Father, may give to us The Holy Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation to know Him better. Grant the eyes of our heart to be enlightened so we may know the hope of Your calling, the riches of Your glorious inheritance those You called out of darkness to light, and the surpassing greatness of Your power toward us who believe, which You exerted when You raised Christ (The Lord's True Anointed and Promised King -- Messiah) from the dead and seated Him at Your Right Hand in the Heavenly Places, (Right Hand of Power, Dan 7:13-14), far above all other rule, authority, power and dominion, both in this age and the age to come, and everything having been put under subjection under His feet, The Father has made Him the Head of over all things and given You (all) power for the church, which is which is Your body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all. Thank You and you all in Jesus' Name (Ephesians 1:15-23).

We rejoice with you in the truth of Ephesians 1:15-23, for it is a powerful declaration of the hope, inheritance, and authority we have in Christ Jesus. Your prayer invokes the Holy Spirit of wisdom and revelation, and we stand with you in agreement, lifting our voices together to the Father in heaven.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son and our Savior. We thank You for the faith and love that abound among Your people, and we ask that You would indeed grant us the Spirit of wisdom and revelation so that we may know You more deeply. Enlighten the eyes of our hearts, Lord, that we may grasp the hope to which You have called us, the riches of Your glorious inheritance in the saints and the immeasurable greatness of Your power toward us who believe. This power is the same power that raised Christ from the dead and seated Him at Your right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule, authority, power, and dominion. We declare that Jesus Christ is Lord over all, and we submit to His authority in every area of our lives.

Father, we pray that as we seek to know You more, You would reveal to us the fullness of Your calling. Help us to walk in the light of Your truth, to live as those who have been called out of darkness into Your marvelous light. May we never forget that we are Your body, the church, and that Christ is our Head. Strengthen us to live in unity, love, and purpose, reflecting Your glory to the world around us.

We also take this moment to rebuke any spirit of confusion, doubt, or deception that would seek to hinder our understanding of Your Word or Your will for our lives. We declare that the enemy has no place in our minds or hearts, for we are sealed by the Holy Spirit and belong to Christ. We resist every lie that would diminish the hope, power, or inheritance we have in Him.

For those who may be reading this and have not yet surrendered their lives to Jesus Christ, we urge you to consider the truth of the Gospel. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). If you have not confessed Jesus as Lord and believed in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, we pray that today would be the day of your salvation (Romans 10:9-10). Turn to Him, repent of your sins, and receive the gift of eternal life.

Let us continue to press into the fullness of what God has for us, walking in the power and authority of Christ. May we be a people who live out the hope of our calling, shining as lights in a dark world, and bringing glory to our Father in heaven. We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We are grateful that you shared this prayer with us, it is a rich and powerful request, straight from the heart of Paul’s words. When we ask for the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, we are not chasing abstract knowledge; we are longing to see Jesus more clearly, and to have the eyes of our hearts opened to what He has already secured for us: a sure hope, an infinite inheritance, and the very strength that raised Him from the dead. That same strength carries us day by day.

One way this prayer takes root is to return to it slowly, letting each phrase sink in. Perhaps this week we can each pause and ask, “Lord, what does the hope of Your calling look like in my life right now? Show me a glimpse of the inheritance You’ve reserved for me.” Even a moment of quiet listening can become a place of revelation. We do not have to manufacture these truths, the Spirit is eager to make them real.

Father, we join our hearts with this prayer. We ask You to give us the Spirit of wisdom and revelation so we may know You better. Enlighten the eyes of our hearts to grasp the hope to which You have called us, the glorious riches of Your inheritance among the saints, and the immeasurable greatness of Your power toward us who believe, the very power that raised Christ and seated Him at Your right hand. Let these realities anchor our souls, fill us with confidence, and overflow into love for one another. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

You have been praying, I see, for the Holy Spirit to open your eyes, to let you know the hope into which you have been called, the riches of Christ’s inheritance in you, and the surpassing greatness of His power toward those who believe. That is no small request; it is, in fact, the very sunrise of the soul. Do you think the Lord is reluctant to grant such a prayer? Far from it. The Father who gave you His Son will not withhold the Spirit who makes that Son real to your heart. When a child asks for bread, he does not receive a stone; how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask Him.

Sometimes you may feel as though you are standing in the outer court, straining to catch a glimpse of what is inside the veil. You read of the hope, the riches, the power, and they seem like far-off mountains, glorious, but not quite yours. Yet listen: in that heavenly temple which is open to faith, what do you think is the one thing to be seen? Not an angry throne, not a stern demand, but “the ark of his covenant.” That ark is Jesus Christ, the covenant Surety, in whom all the promises are yes and amen. He is the mercy-seat where God meets you without wrath. To know God is to know Him there, in the face of Jesus, where every attribute is perfectly balanced, mercy attended by justice, love accompanied by holiness. The Spirit’s work is to turn your eyes away from your own dim thoughts and fix them on that living, loving Christ, until you see that you are not merely a servant but a son, not merely a subject but part of his bride, his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all.

And you have asked to know the hope of His calling. That hope is not a maybe, a perhaps, a thin wish trembling on a spider’s thread. It is an anchor sure and steadfast, entering into that within the veil. When God calls a man, He calls him with a purpose that went forth from eternity, and the end of it is as certain as the throne of heaven. The hope is Christ in you, the assurance of glory. It is a hope that does not blush to be examined, for it is built on the rock of his finished work. You may not always feel its brightness; you may have your seasons of dullness, even of weeping. But the Lord knows how to turn your mourning into gladness. Those tears that fall in penitence are the very dew that prepares your spirit to take the radiant color of his comfort. The clear shining comes after rain, and then the birds sing among the dripping branches as they never did before.

The riches of his inheritance in the saints, that is a deep wonder. You look at yourself and see weakness, poverty, much that is unworthy. But the Lord looks at you and sees the purchase of his Son’s blood, the jewels of his crown, the portion he has chosen for himself. He rejoices over you to do you good, and he does it with his whole heart. There is a special, distinguishing love that he has set upon his people, a love not cold and general, but warm, personal, and full of solicitous care. Even a poor apostle in a Roman dungeon was not forgotten: the Lord moved him to ask for a cloak to warm his bones, and books to cheer his soul. If the Lord cares for the body and the mind of his servant, how much more for the deep needs of your spirit? He who provided the greater gift of his Son will not leave you without the lesser gift of knowing him better.

Perhaps what you crave most today is to know that exceeding greatness of his power, the power that raised Christ from the dead and set him far above all principality and might. You know the truth of it in your head, but you long to feel the throb of it in your own experience. Consider this: that same power is toward you who believe. It did not exhaust itself at the resurrection. It flows into every believing soul as truly as the sap rises into the branch. When you cannot move the mountain of your trouble, when your own strength is dried up like a potsherd, then is the time for his power to rest upon you. He is your rock, immovable and unchanging. The frosts of sorrow cannot split that granite; the heat of trial cannot melt it. Stand on that rock and you stand where you may look down on the world as a little thing, and even see across the storms of time to the bright land beyond.

Do not imagine that such knowledge is reserved for a few favored saints far above you. The very promise is given to those who, like you, hunger for it. “I will give them a heart to know me, that I am Jehovah.” He does not merely offer the knowledge; he gives the heart to receive it. The Spirit searches the deep things of God and reveals them to babes. He takes of the things of Christ and shows them to us. So be of good courage, and do not let unbelief close what faith has begun to open. The same hand that broke the bars of death will gently draw aside the curtains of your ignorance, and let you see the King in his beauty.

The Lord cause his face to shine upon you. May the Spirit of wisdom so possess your inner man that Christ may dwell in your heart by faith, until you are rooted and grounded in love, able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height, and to know the love of Christ that passes knowledge, that you might be filled with all the fullness of God. Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We are deeply grateful for the privilege to stand with you in prayer as you seek the Holy Spirit of wisdom and revelation to know God more intimately. It has been on our hearts to continue lifting you before the throne of grace, asking our Glorious Father to enlighten the eyes of your heart so that you may truly grasp the hope of His calling, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints, and the surpassing greatness of His power toward those who believe.

We have prayed that the same power that raised Christ from the dead and seated Him at the right hand of the Father—far above all rule, authority, power, and dominion—would be made real in your life. May you walk in the fullness of His authority and experience the reality of Christ as the Head over all things, with the church as His body, filled with all that He is.

If the Lord has answered this prayer in ways you’ve already seen, we rejoice with you and invite you to share a praise report so we may all give thanks together. If the answer is still unfolding or you desire deeper revelation, we encourage you to post this request again so we may continue interceding on your behalf. Either way, we stand with you in faith, trusting that God is at work in ways beyond what we can ask or imagine.

May He bless you abundantly as you press into Him, drawing nearer to His heart through Jesus Christ our Lord. We pray all these things in Jesus’ mighty and precious name. Amen.
