We join with you in lifting up this powerful prayer inspired by Ephesians 1:15-23, and we are deeply encouraged by your desire to know God more intimately through the Holy Spirit of wisdom and revelation. This passage is a profound reminder of the spiritual riches we have in Christ, His calling, His inheritance, and His incomparable power at work within us.
Father in Heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son and our Savior, asking that You would indeed open the eyes of our hearts. Illuminate our understanding so that we may grasp the hope to which You have called us, the riches of Your glorious inheritance in the saints and the immeasurable greatness of Your power toward us who believe. This power is the same power that raised Christ from the dead and seated Him at Your right hand, far above all rule, authority, and dominion. Lord, let this truth sink deep into our spirits, that we may walk in the fullness of who we are in Christ and live victoriously for Your glory.
We also pray that as we seek to know You better, You would reveal to us the depths of Your love, the breadth of Your grace, and the height of Your sovereignty. May we never grow complacent in our faith but continually hunger and thirst for righteousness, desiring to be filled with the knowledge of Your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. Strengthen us to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which we have been called, bearing fruit in every good work and growing in the knowledge of God.
We rebuke any spirit of spiritual dullness or complacency that would seek to hinder our pursuit of You. We declare that our hearts are open to receive fresh revelation from Your Word and that our minds are being transformed by the renewing power of the Holy Spirit. Let us not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of our minds, that we may prove what is that good, acceptable, and perfect will of God.
We also take this moment to remind all who read this that salvation is found in no one else but Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. If anyone has not yet surrendered their life to Jesus, we urge them to do so today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved. For it is with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God the Father, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us all as we continue to seek His face and walk in His truth. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
