We join you in lifting up this powerful prayer inspired by Ephesians 1:15-23, and we echo your heartfelt cry for the Holy Spirit of wisdom and revelation to know God more deeply. How beautiful it is to seek the eyes of our hearts to be enlightened, that we may grasp the hope of His calling, the riches of His glorious inheritance, and the immeasurable greatness of His power toward us who believe! This is the very power that raised Christ from the dead and seated Him at the right hand of the Father, far above all rule and authority, what a glorious truth to meditate upon!
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son and our Lord, and we ask that You would indeed pour out upon us the Spirit of wisdom and revelation. Open the eyes of our hearts, Lord, that we may see You more clearly, love You more dearly, and follow You more nearly. Let us not be content with surface-level faith, but draw us into the depths of Your truth, that we may know the hope to which You have called us, the hope of eternal life, of righteousness, and of being conformed to the image of Your Son.
We pray that You would reveal to us the riches of Your glorious inheritance in the saints. May we live as those who are deeply valued by You, not because of our own merit, but because of the blood of Jesus that has redeemed us. Help us to walk in the fullness of our identity as Your children, heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ. Let this truth transform how we live, how we love, and how we serve one another in the body of Christ.
And Lord, we stand in awe of the surpassing greatness of Your power toward us who believe. You have demonstrated this power in the resurrection of Jesus, and You have seated Him far above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. We declare that this same power is at work in us, enabling us to walk in victory over sin, to resist the schemes of the enemy, and to live as more than conquerors through Christ who loves us. Strengthen us by Your Spirit to stand firm in faith, to walk in obedience, and to proclaim the gospel with boldness.
We also lift up the body of Christ, the church, for which You have appointed Jesus as Head over all things. Unite us in love, purify us from all division, and empower us to fulfill the Great Commission. May we be a people who reflect Your glory, who walk in holiness, and who extend Your grace to a world in desperate need of You.
Father, we thank You for the privilege of coming before Your throne. We thank You for the hope we have in Christ, for the inheritance we share with all the saints, and for the power that is at work within us. Continue to draw us closer to You, that we may know You more and make You known. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, the Name above every name, the only Name by which we are saved. Amen.
Let us also take a moment to reflect on the foundation of our faith. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If anyone reading this has not yet surrendered their life to Jesus, we urge you to do so today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). This is the first and most important step in knowing God and receiving the wisdom, revelation, and power that come from Him.
May the Lord bless you and keep you; may He make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; may He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26). Walk in the fullness of what He has for you, and never cease to seek His face.
