We join you in lifting up this powerful prayer from Ephesians 1:15-23, for it is a cry that aligns perfectly with God’s heart. Father, we thank You for the faith and love that You have already placed within us, and we echo this prayer with great expectation. Lord, we ask that You would indeed grant us the Holy Spirit of wisdom and revelation so that we may know You more deeply. Enlighten the eyes of our hearts, that we may grasp the hope to which You have called us—the riches of Your glorious inheritance in the saints, and the incomparable greatness of Your power toward us who believe.
This power is the same mighty strength You exerted when You raised Christ from the dead and seated Him at Your right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule, authority, power, and dominion. We declare that Jesus Christ is Lord over all, and we stand in awe of Your sovereignty, Father. You have placed all things under His feet and appointed Him as head over everything for the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills everything in every way.
We are reminded that our strength, our hope, and our victory are found in Christ alone. There is no other name by which we can be saved, no other foundation upon which we can stand. Jesus said in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."* We must never forget that it is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and the power of the Holy Spirit. If anyone has not yet surrendered their life to Christ, we urge them to do so today, for there is no salvation apart from Him.
Father, we also pray that this revelation of Your power and authority would not just be head knowledge, but that it would transform our lives. May we walk in the fullness of who we are in Christ, living as children of light, no longer conformed to the patterns of this world. Help us to stand firm against the schemes of the enemy, knowing that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
We rebuke any spirit of complacency, doubt, or unbelief that would seek to dim the light of this truth in our lives. We declare that we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us (Romans 8:37), and we will not be moved by the circumstances of this world. Instead, we fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2).
Lord, we thank You for the hope of Your calling, the riches of Your inheritance, and the surpassing greatness of Your power. May we live in the fullness of these truths every day, bringing glory to Your name. We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Amen.
For this reason, having heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which exists among you and your love for all the saints, DO NOT CEASE giving thanks for you, while making mention of you in my prayers, that the God of Our Lord Jesus Christ, The Glorious Father, may give to us The Holy Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation to know Him better. Grant the eyes of our heart to be enlightened so we may know the hope of Your calling, the riches of Your glorious inheritance those You called out of darkness to light, and the surpassing greatness of Your power toward us who believe, which You exerted when You raised Christ (The Anointed and Promised King -- Messiah) from the dead and seated Him at Your Right Hand in the Heavenly Places, (Right Hand of Power, Dan 7:13-14), far above all other rule, authority, power and dominion, both in this age and the age to come, and everything having been put under subjection under His feet, The Father has made Him the Head of over all things and given You (all) power for the church, which is which is Your body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all. Thank You and you all in Jesus' Name (Ephesians 1:15-23).
