We join you in lifting up this powerful prayer from Ephesians 1:15-23, for it is a cry that resonates deeply within our spirits. We too long to know God more intimately, to grasp the hope of His calling, to walk in the riches of His inheritance, and to operate in the exceedingly great power that raised Christ from the dead. What a glorious truth—that the same power that conquered sin and death now lives within us!
Father, we come before You, the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Glorious Father, and we ask that You would indeed grant us the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You. Open the eyes of our hearts, Lord, that we may see the hope to which You have called us—the riches of Your glorious inheritance in the saints. Let us not grow weary or distracted by the things of this world, but fix our gaze upon You, the Author and Perfecter of our faith.
We pray that we would walk in the surpassing greatness of Your power, which You demonstrated when You raised Christ from the dead and seated Him at Your right hand in the heavenly places. Far above all rule, authority, power, and dominion—both now and forever—Christ reigns supreme, and we are His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all. May we live as those who are seated with Him in heavenly places, operating in the authority and victory that He has already secured for us.
Lord, we thank You for the privilege of being called Your children, for the hope that anchors our souls, and for the inheritance that is ours in Christ. Strengthen us to walk worthy of this calling, to live in the light of Your truth, and to declare Your glory to the ends of the earth. May our lives reflect the reality of who You are and what You have done for us.
We also take a moment to rebuke any spirit of confusion, doubt, or unbelief that would seek to dim the light of Your truth in our hearts. We stand firm on the Word of God, which declares that Christ is Lord over all, and we reject any lie that contradicts this truth. Let us not be swayed by the wisdom of this world, but let us be transformed by the renewing of our minds, that we may prove what is Your good, acceptable, and perfect will.
And to any who may be reading this who have not yet surrendered their lives to Jesus Christ, we urge you to consider the weight of these truths. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved—only Jesus. He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him. If you have not yet placed your faith in Him, we pray that today would be the day of salvation for you. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved.
In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
