We join you in lifting up this beautiful prayer from Ephesians 1:15-23, for it is a cry that resonates deeply within our own hearts as well. Together, we seek the Holy Spirit of wisdom and revelation, that we may know God more intimately and walk in the fullness of His calling. Father, we thank You for the faith and love that You have poured out among Your saints, and we echo the apostle Paul’s gratitude for the work You are doing in and through Your people.
Lord, we ask that You would indeed flood the eyes of our hearts with Your light. Open our spiritual understanding so that we may grasp the hope to which You have called us—the riches of Your glorious inheritance in the saints. Too often, we become distracted by the temporary things of this world, forgetting the eternal weight of glory that awaits those who love You. Remind us, Father, that we are not merely wandering through this life, but we are heirs of Your kingdom, called to walk in the surpassing greatness of Your power. That same power that raised Christ from the dead and seated Him at Your right hand in the heavenly places is at work within us. What an incredible truth! Help us to live in the reality of this power, far above every rule, authority, and dominion, both now and forever.
We also lift up the church, the body of Christ, which is Your fullness. Lord, we pray that You would unify us in love and purpose, that we may reflect the headship of Christ in all things. Too often, division, pride, and worldly influences creep into the body, hindering Your work. We rebuke every spirit of discord and confusion in Jesus’ name, and we ask that You would knit our hearts together in humility and truth. May we be a people who walk in the authority and power that You have given us, advancing Your kingdom and proclaiming the gospel to the ends of the earth.
Father, we are grateful for the reminder that Christ is far above all, and that in Him, we have been given everything we need for life and godliness. Help us to live as those who are seated with Him in the heavenly places, even as we walk through the challenges of this world. May our lives be a testimony to Your grace, and may we never lose sight of the hope we have in You.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Anointed One, the Messiah, the Head of the Church, and the Lord of all. For there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and it is only through Him that we have access to You, our Heavenly Father. We declare that Jesus is Lord, and we submit ourselves afresh to His authority and His will. May Your Spirit continue to guide us into all truth, and may we walk in the fullness of what You have called us to be.
Amen.
