Good and Faithful Servant
🙏 For this reason I too, having heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which exists among you and your love for all the saints, do NOT cease giving thanks for you, while making mention of you in my prayers: O God of Our Lord Jesus Christ, Glorious Father, give to us The Holy Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation to know You better. Grant the eyes of our heart to be flooded with light so we may know the hope of Your calling, the riches of Your glorious inheritance those You called out of darkness, and the surpassing greatness of Your power toward believers, which You exerted when You raised Christ (The Anointed and Promised King -- The Messiah) from the dead and seated Him at Your Right Hand in the Heavenly Places, (Right Hand of Power, Dan 7:13-14), far above all other rule, authority, power and dominion, both in this age and the age to come, and everything having been put under subjection under His feet, The Father has made Him the Head of over all things and given You (all) power for the church, which is which is Your body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all. Thank You and you all in Jesus' Name (Ephesians 1:15-23).

We rejoice in your heartfelt cry for deeper revelation and wisdom from the Holy Spirit, for this is a prayer that aligns perfectly with God’s will. Your desire to know Him more intimately, to grasp the hope of His calling, the riches of His inheritance, and the surpassing greatness of His power is a reflection of a soul hungry for the things of God. We stand with you in this pursuit, for the apostle Paul himself prayed these very things for the believers in Ephesus, and we know that what was true for them is true for us today.

The eyes of our hearts must indeed be enlightened, for the natural man cannot comprehend the things of the Spirit. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 2:14, *"Now the natural man doesn’t receive the things of God’s Spirit, for they are foolishness to him, and he can’t know them, because they are spiritually discerned."* But praise God, we are not left to our own understanding! The Holy Spirit is our Teacher, our Guide, and our Revealer of truth. Jesus promised in John 16:13, *"However when he, the Spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth, for he will not speak from himself; but whatever he hears, he will speak. He will declare to you things that are coming."* We must lean into Him, surrendering our minds and hearts to His leading, for He alone can unlock the mysteries of God’s Word and His will for our lives.

We also lift up the truth that this revelation is not for our own edification alone but for the building up of the body of Christ. The church is the fullness of Him who fills all in all, and we are called to walk in the authority and power that Christ has given us. This is not a power for selfish gain or worldly ambition but for the advancement of God’s kingdom and the glory of His name. As we grow in our understanding of who we are in Christ, we must also grow in our commitment to live out that identity in humility, love, and service to others. Ephesians 4:1-3 reminds us, *"I therefore, the prisoner in the Lord, beg you to walk worthily of the calling with which you were called, with all lowliness and humility, with patience, bearing with one another in love; being eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace."*

Let us also remember that this revelation comes with responsibility. The more we know of God, the more we are accountable to live in a manner worthy of the calling we have received. We cannot claim to walk in the Spirit of wisdom while ignoring the clear commands of Scripture. If there are areas in our lives where we are not aligning with God’s Word—whether in our relationships, our speech, our thoughts, or our actions—we must repent and turn from them. The Holy Spirit is not only our Comforter but also our Convictor, and He will not leave us in our sin. As Hebrews 4:12-13 declares, *"For the word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart. There is no creature that is hidden from his sight, but all things are naked and laid open before the eyes of him to whom we must give an account."*

We must also guard our hearts against the deception of the enemy, who seeks to distort the truth and lead us astray. The spirit of this age is one of confusion, relativism, and compromise, but we are called to stand firm in the truth of God’s Word. We must test every spirit, as 1 John 4:1 instructs, *"Beloved, don’t believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world."* The Holy Spirit will always lead us into truth, never into sin or rebellion against God’s Word.

Now, let us come before the throne of grace with boldness, lifting up this prayer together:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the gift of Your Holy Spirit, the Spirit of wisdom and revelation. We ask that You would open the eyes of our hearts, flooding them with Your light, so that we may know the hope of Your calling, the riches of Your glorious inheritance in the saints, and the surpassing greatness of Your power toward us who believe. Lord, we long to know You more deeply, to walk in the fullness of what You have for us, and to live lives that bring glory to Your name.

We confess that there are times when we have quenched or grieved Your Spirit by our disobedience, our unbelief, or our neglect of Your Word. Forgive us, Father, and renew a right spirit within us. Help us to walk in step with Your Spirit, yielding to His leading in every area of our lives. Give us discernment to recognize the schemes of the enemy and the wisdom to stand firm in Your truth.

We pray for unity in the body of Christ, that we would be eager to maintain the bond of peace and to build one another up in love. May we be a people who reflect Your glory to the world, shining as lights in the darkness. Empower us by Your Spirit to walk in the authority and power that Christ has given us, not for our own gain, but for the advancement of Your kingdom.

Father, we thank You for the hope we have in Christ, the riches of our inheritance, and the power that raised Him from the dead at work within us. May we never take these truths for granted but live in the fullness of who we are in You. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the name by which we are saved and through which we have access to You. Amen.

May the Lord continue to reveal Himself to you in deeper ways, drawing you closer to His heart and filling you with His peace, joy, and power. Walk in the confidence of who you are in Christ, and let His light shine through you in every season of life.

Dear friend,

We're right there with you, longing for a deeper revelation of our Heavenly Father. It's so encouraging to see your hunger for wisdom and understanding. Let's remember that God is eager to reveal Himself to us, just as He did to the apostle Paul and the believers in Ephesus. In fact, Jesus promised in John 16:13, "However, when he, the Spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth..." Let's trust in the Holy Spirit's faithfulness to lead us into all truth.

As we seek this revelation, let's also keep in mind that it's not just for our personal growth, but for the building up of the body of Christ. Ephesians 4:1-3 reminds us, "I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace." Let's strive to live in unity and love, using the revelations we receive to serve and build up one another.

Let's also be accountable to live in a manner worthy of the calling we've received. As we grow in our understanding of God, let's also grow in our commitment to live out that understanding in humility, love, and service to others.

Let's pray together:

Lord, open the eyes of our hearts, flooding them with Your light. Help us to know the hope of Your calling, the riches of Your glorious inheritance, and the surpassing greatness of Your power towards us who believe. Lord, we desire to know You more deeply, to walk in the fullness of what You have for us, and to live lives that bring glory to Your name.

We confess that there are times when we've quenched or grieved Your Spirit by our disobedience, unbelief, or neglect of Your Word. Forgive us, Father, and renew a right spirit within us. Help us to walk in step with Your Spirit, yielding to His leading in every area of our lives.

Give us discernment to recognize the schemes of the enemy and the wisdom to stand firm in Your truth. Help us to guard our hearts against deception and to test every spirit, as 1 John 4:1 instructs.

Lord, we pray for unity in the body of Christ. Help us to be eager to maintain the bond of peace and to build one another up in love. Empower us by Your Spirit to walk in the authority and power that Christ has given us, not for our own gain, but for the advancement of Your kingdom.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we ask all these things. Amen.

May the Lord continue to reveal Himself to you in deeper ways, drawing you closer to His heart and filling you with His peace, joy, and power. Walk in the confidence of who you are in Christ, and let His light shine through you in every season of life.
