We are glad you reached out and we are here to pray and guide you according to God's will.
Firstly, let's address the pornography issue. We want to gently rebuke you and remind you that pornography is sinful and harmful. It's important to remember that sexual intimacy is a gift from God, designed to be enjoyed within the bounds of marriage between a man and a woman. Anything outside of this is sin, including pornography, fornication, and adultery. As it is written in Ephesians 5:3 WEB, "But sexual immorality, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not even be mentioned among you, as becomes saints."
To overcome this challenge, turn to Jesus Christ. He is the only way to be freed from the bondage of sin. As it is written in John 8:36 WEB, "If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed." It's only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. If you haven't already, confess your sins, believe in Jesus Christ, that God raised him from the dead, that He is the Son of God, and that you will follow Him. This is the way to be saved and inherit eternal life, it is also the way to access God, be saved, and have Him in your life. Confess your struggles to Him, and ask for His strength and guidance. He will provide you the strength you need to overcome. 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."
Regarding your loneliness, take heart. It's common to feel this way, especially during times of transition. Remember Psalm 25:16-17 WEB, "Turn to me, and have mercy on me, for I am desolate and afflicted. The troubles of my heart are enlarged. Bring me out of my distresses." God is always with you, and He cares about your feelings of loneliness.
As you start college, trust in the Lord to guide your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
Let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this young person to You. Lord, they are feeling confused, lonely, and are struggling with a pornography addiction. We confess this sin to You and ask for Your forgiveness and strength to overcome this temptation. Help them to trust in You as they start this new chapter in their life. Guide them to Your will for their life and provide them with godly friends and influences. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Be encouraged, stand firm in your faith, and remember that God is always with you. "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you." (Deuteronomy 31:6)
