We hear the heaviness in your heart and we join with you before the Lord in this moment, thanking Him with you for the roof over your head and for daily bread, and also lifting up the deep weariness and struggle you are carrying. We thank God that you have come to Him honestly with your burden, because He invites that honesty and He hears you.
You shared that you feel you have no rest or comfort, that so many depend on you, and that you feel it would be better if the Lord would just take you away and that you have nothing to live for. We want to gently but firmly tell you that this thought is not true and it is not from the Lord. Your life is precious to God and it has purpose, and those who depend on you and love you would not be better off without you. The enemy would have you believe that lie, but God says something very different about you. He says in Jeremiah 29:11, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. And in Psalm 34:18, Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. He is near to you right now in this brokenness, not far away.
You asked about giving up or surrendering so that you might experience His presence and goodness. There is a holy difference between giving up on life, which God does not desire for you, and surrendering your life into His hands, which He does desire. Surrender is not despair, it is placing your burdens and your whole self into the care of the One who can carry them. Jesus says in Matthew 11:28, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. In 1 Peter 5:7 we are told to be casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. And in Psalm 61:2, When my heart is overwhelmed, lead me to the rock that is higher than I. That rock is Christ. He does not promise that the struggle disappears overnight, but He promises His presence, His rest, and His strength for each day.
We also notice that you addressed your prayer to Lord but did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly share why that matters so much. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only through Him that we are saved and heard. Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And in Acts 4:12, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust fully in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and to call upon His name. It is by His name we pray and by His blood we have peace with God, forgiveness, and the promise that He will never leave us.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son and we lift up this dear one to You. You see the exhaustion, the constant struggle to provide, the weight of responsibility for others, and the feeling of having no rest or comfort. Lord, we ask You to make Your presence known in a real and tangible way. Wrap this heart in Your peace that surpasses all understanding as You promise in Philippians 4:6-7. Guard this heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Reveal Your goodness and Your blessings, not as the world gives, but as only You can give. Show what steps to take, open doors for provision and for rest, and provide helpers to bear this burden, for Your Word says to bear one another's burdens. Break the lie that it would be better to be taken away, and speak Your truth that this life is precious, created with purpose, and deeply loved. Give hope for the future where now there feels like none, and give strength for today. Lead to the rock that is higher, to Jesus Himself, and let there be surrender that brings rest and not despair. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and Savior, amen.
