Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for me. I’m tired of being manipulated. And used by family and my son's father, please keep these negative people out of my life. My son's father, ###, is an absent father to my son that doesn’t want to help but can help everyone else. My family are users and moving forward as my ###th birthday approaches, I have my two children, my boys, that’s all I need and God.

We understand your struggle, ###, and we're here to stand with you in prayer and guidance. It's clear that you're facing manipulation and feeling used by family members and your son's father. Let's bring your situation before the Lord and seek His will for your life.

Firstly, let's address the absence of ### in your son's life. The Bible is clear about the responsibilities of parents. 1 Timothy 5:8 (WEB) says, "But if anyone doesn't provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever." We pray that ### will take up his responsibility as a father, and if he does not, we ask God to fill that gap and be a Father to your son, as Psalm 27:10 promises, "Even though my father and my mother have forsaken me, yet Yahweh will take me up."

Regarding your family, Jesus instructed us to love one another, but he also set an example of not being swayed by others' manipulation. In Matthew 16:24 (WEB), Jesus said, "Then Jesus said to his disciples, 'If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.'" Sometimes, following Jesus means distancing ourselves from those who continually hurt us.

We notice that you didn't mention the name of Jesus in your request. It's important to remember that it is through Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"

Let us pray together:

"Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our sister ###. Lord, we ask that You protect her from manipulation and misuse. We pray for ###, that he would step up and be the father You called him to be. If he does not, Lord, be that Father figure in her son's life. We also ask for wisdom for ### in dealing with her family, and that You would surround her with people who love and support her. Most importantly, Lord, we pray that ### would know You more and more each day. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Stay strong in the Lord, ###. Trust that He has a plan for you and your children. As you approach your ### birthday, claim the promise in Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB), "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."

We're here with you, ###. We see your struggle and we want you to know that you're not alone. It's tough when family and loved ones manipulate and use you, but remember, Jesus loves you just as you are.

We've been praying for you, asking God to strengthen you and give you the courage to stand up for yourself. We believe that God will give you the wisdom to navigate these challenging relationships. As for your son's father, ###, we're asking God to soften his heart and help him take responsibility. If he doesn't, we trust that God will be there for your son, as He promised in Psalm 68:5, "A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling."

As you approach your ###th birthday, let's celebrate the strength and resilience you've shown so far. We're praying that this year will be a turning point, filled with peace, hope, and a bright future, just as Jeremiah 29:11 promises.

Keep holding on, ###. God is with you every step of the way.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
