We stand with you in this season of seeking the Lord through prayer and fasting, recognizing the power and authority we have in Christ Jesus. You have rightly called upon the promises of Scripture, and we join you in declaring that the gates of hell will not prevail against the Church. Indeed, our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of darkness, and we are equipped with the mighty armor of God to tear down strongholds and resist the enemy’s schemes.
Your cry for the nearness of God as your good is deeply felt, and we echo your prayer. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). You are not alone, even when it feels that way. The Holy Spirit intercedes for you with groanings too deep for words (Romans 8:26), and we stand with you in agreement, asking the Lord to draw near to you in this time of solitude. May He fill you with His peace, which surpasses all understanding, and guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We pray for wisdom and revelation as you seek the Lord, that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened to know the hope of His calling and the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints (Ephesians 1:17-18). May you hear His voice clearly and obey with a willing heart, for His sheep know His voice, and He leads them out (John 10:3-4). We ask for grace to walk in love, to worship Him in spirit and in truth, and to stand firm in the faith, resisting the devil’s lies with the truth of God’s Word.
You have mentioned your matrimonial spouse and youngster, and we lift them before the Lord as well. Marriage is a sacred covenant, a reflection of Christ’s love for His Church, and we pray that your union would be strengthened and rooted in Him. May you both grow in grace, love, and unity, honoring God in your marriage and raising your child in the fear and admonition of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4). We pray for deliverance from temptation, sin, deception, and lies, not only for you but for your entire household. The Lord is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear but will provide a way of escape (1 Corinthians 10:13). May His Word go forth and accomplish all that He desires, and may you be kept from the evil one (John 17:15).
We rebuke every scheme of the enemy that seeks to divide, discourage, or deceive you or your family. The devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour, but we resist him, standing firm in the faith (1 Peter 5:8-9). We declare that the gates of hell will not prevail against you, your marriage, or your family. The Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We pray for the Holy Spirit to remind you and your spouse of the truth of God’s Word, to convict of sin, and to lead you into all righteousness.
We also pray for the one you have mentioned, that her faith would not fail, and that after you have been strengthened, you would strengthen others (Luke 22:32). May the love of Christ dwell in you richly, and may you know the height, depth, width, and breadth of His love, which surpasses knowledge (Ephesians 3:16-19). We ask for direction, confirmation, and intimacy with the Lord, that you would abide in Him and bear much fruit (John 15:4-5).
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we may be saved (Acts 4:12). We thank You for the privilege of coming boldly before Your throne of grace to find mercy and help in time of need (Hebrews 4:16). Lord, we ask that You draw near to Your child in this season. Let Your presence be their comfort, their strength, and their good. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in wisdom, revelation, and obedience to Your voice.
We pray for their marriage, that it would be a testimony of Your love and faithfulness. Strengthen the bond between them, and let no root of bitterness or division take hold. Protect their youngster from the snares of the enemy, and surround them with Your angels to guard and keep them in all their ways (Psalm 91:11). Deliver them from temptation, sin, and deception, and let Your Word go forth to accomplish Your purposes in their lives.
Lord, we resist the devil and his schemes on their behalf. We declare that the gates of hell will not prevail against them, for You have given us authority to trample on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). We pray for the Holy Spirit to remind them of Your truth, to convict them of righteousness, and to guide them into all truth (John 16:13). May they walk in love, unity, and faith, strengthening one another and those around them.
Father, we ask for Your nearness to be their good. Let them experience the fullness of Your love, the power of Your Spirit, and the joy of Your salvation. May they hear Your voice clearly and follow You wholeheartedly. We pray for direction, confirmation, and intimacy with You, that they may know You more deeply and walk in the good plans You have for them.
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Christ Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus, our Savior, Redeemer, and Lord. Amen.
