Thank You in JESUS' NAME

We hear your cry for spiritual strength and nearness to God in this season of loneliness, and we stand with you in prayer, fasting, and intercession. You have rightly turned to the Lord, acknowledging His sovereignty and the power of His Word, and we join you in declaring that the gates of hell shall not prevail against the Church built by Jesus Christ. Let us together seek the Lord with all our hearts, putting on the full armor of God to resist the enemy’s schemes.

First, we must address the sacredness of marriage as you have prayed for your matrimonial spouse and child. The Bible is clear that marriage is a covenant between one man and one woman, established by God for His glory (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). We pray that your marriage would be a reflection of Christ’s love for the Church, selfless, holy, and enduring (Ephesians 5:22-33). May the Lord guard your hearts and minds against any temptation, deception, or division that would seek to undermine this divine union. If there are any struggles or unconfessed sins within the marriage, we encourage repentance, forgiveness, and restoration in Christ’s name.

You have asked for wisdom, revelation, and the ability to hear God’s voice, these are noble and necessary requests. Scripture tells us, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him" (James 1:5 WEB). We pray that the Holy Spirit would illuminate your heart with the truth of God’s Word, that you would walk in obedience, and that your steps would be ordered by the Lord (Psalm 37:23). May you experience the nearness of God as your good (Psalm 73:28), and may His presence be your comfort and strength in this time of solitude.

Your call to fasting and prayer aligns with Isaiah 58:6-12, where the Lord declares that true fasting breaks the chains of injustice, sets the oppressed free, and brings healing. We join you in this spiritual discipline, asking God to sharpen our discernment, deepen our intimacy with Him, and empower us to wage war, not with carnal weapons, but with the mighty weapons of God to tear down strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4-5). Let us resist the devil steadfastly in the faith (1 Peter 5:8-9), knowing that he flees when we submit to God (James 4:7).

We also lift up the one you have mentioned, praying that her faith would not fail and that the Holy Spirit would remind her of Jesus’ truth (John 14:26). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Christ came that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that no weapon formed against your household shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that the Lord will keep you from all evil (Psalm 121:7).

Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We thank You for the grace that abounds in Christ (John 1:16) and for the privilege of approaching Your throne with boldness (Hebrews 4:16). Strengthen this brother in the inner man, that he may know the height, depth, width, and breadth of Christ’s love (Ephesians 3:16-20). Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may walk in love, resist temptation, and stand firm against the enemy’s lies.

Lord, we ask that You would deliver him, his spouse, and their child from every snare of the evil one. Guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7), and let Your Word go forth with power to transform their lives (Hebrews 4:12). We pray for unity in their marriage, wisdom in parenting, and protection over their home. May they be a light in this dark world, shining the love of Christ to those around them.

We also pray for the Church, that we would not grow weary in doing good (Galatians 6:9), but would persevere in prayer, fasting, and intercession. May we be a people who stand firm in the faith, resisting the devil and advancing the kingdom of God. Let us not be deceived by the serpent’s lies, but let us hold fast to the truth of Your Word.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your faithfulness and declare that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). May Your will be done in this brother’s life, his marriage, and his family. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We hear the ache behind your words, and we don’t take lightly how lonely this season feels. Wanting the nearness of God to be your good is itself a work of grace, a hunger He deeply honors. When everything around you seems quiet and the battle presses hard, it’s not a sign of weak faith; it’s the raw place where intimacy is forged.

One small but steady thing that can push back isolation is simply showing up where God’s people worship together. Whether it’s a church service, a small group, or even an online prayer gathering, worship has a way of lifting our eyes off our own aloneness and planting us in the middle of a much larger family. There, Christ promises to be present in a special way, and we’re reminded it’s not just us and our struggle, it’s us with the whole body. That kind of gathering can become a channel for the very nearness you’re craving, and it often gives fresh wind to our prayers for those we love.

We’re grateful you reached out, and we’re standing with you, not losing heart. You are not alone in this fight.

Father, thank You that You are intimately acquainted with every hidden part of this life. Draw very near right now, and let Your nearness truly become good for this one who seeks You. Give wisdom and revelation; grant grace to praise, worship, and clearly hear Your voice. Strengthen hands that feel weary in battle, and cover the spouse and child with Your protection. Remind them all of Jesus’ truth, and let them experience the immeasurable dimensions of His love. We ask this in Jesus’ name.

This cry after God, this pleading for the Spirit's power in fasting and prayer, is the very note that must be sounded if the gates of hell are to feel the pressure of the Church's assault. A great faith delights the heart of Christ, and He passes by many other things for it. When you wrestle with such texts as Isaiah 58 and Matthew 16, you are not wielding carnal weapons, but bringing the mighty artillery of heaven to bear upon the strongholds of the adversary.

You speak of feeling much alone, and I am no stranger to the many forms of loneliness that may afflict a faithful soul. In such seasons, the disciples scattered, and fear prevailed over faith; but it is the matchless exercise of faith that holds us fast to Christ even when all others seem to walk no more with Him. If earthly company is removed, the words of God's Book, made living to you, shall be to your mind the angels, and God Himself shall have fellowship with you. The living God is not far; He sees you at this moment in your loneliness and dire distress, and He is quick to perceive the faintest glance of an eye to the Cross.

Do not let the weakness of your faith cause you to stagger at the promise as though the power were in the feeling and not in the Object of it. There are many in heaven whose names on earth were Little-Faith and Ready-to-Halt, and yet they never perished. Christ is so delighted with faith because it is His own appointed way of receiving blessing. If you have but a grain of mustard seed of reliance upon Him, He discerns it at once, and that root of constancy shall be sustained by the Spirit's power. He will not suffer the trust you have placed in Him to fail utterly, nor will He leave your dear ones who are the subjects of your groaning to be an easy prey to the serpent's lies, for the covenant is founded upon a rock, and God's free grace is always the same.

Resist the devil, then, not with an assisted or manufactured faith, but by clinging to Christ with that holy boldness which says, "I will not let You go except You bless me." Lay hold upon Him for the revelation, the intimacy, and the strength you crave, knowing that the blood of the covenant has brought you into a nearness which the hostility of hell cannot reverse. Prayer made weak by our own feebleness becomes a mighty weapon when thrown back entirely upon God's omnipotence, and the very cases which stagger faith are only the stage upon which His grace shall do its wonders. Pray on, and as you walk in love and intercession, expect to see the day when the serpent's head is bruised not merely by a distant promise, but by the present victory of Christ in your heart and home.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The cry of your heart for nearness to God is itself a sign of His grace drawing you, for no one seeks the Bridegroom’s voice unless the Spirit has already stirred them. You ask for help to fast and pray, to wage war not with carnal weapons. Remember Peter in the garden: he seized a sword, thinking to defend the Master, but Christ rebuked him. Our battle is not of flesh and steel. The strongholds you long to see torn down are pulled down only by the power of God, through prayer and the mighty armor He supplies. When you feel alone, recall that the Spirit, like the wind, blows where it wills; you cannot trace its path, but you hear its sound. God hears the silent cry of the heart, as He heard Moses when he said nothing aloud. So sing in your heart, not for display, but with heedfulness unto God.

You ask for deliverance from the serpent’s lies. The devil is indeed the prince of this world, not by right, but because so many willingly and carelessly surrender to him. Yet when he sees a soul standing firm in the faith, resisting him, he knows he accomplishes nothing and flees, fearing to become the cause of more crowns for you. Even Nebuchadnezzar, that adversary, praised the three children when they stood nobly and hearkened to God alone. Stand, then, and hear the Bridegroom’s voice, this is how the Church is wedded to Him, by faith that comes through hearing the word. But careful hearing must be joined with fortitude, and with deliverance from all worldly things; one virtue alone is not enough. Let the word go forth and find in you good soil: not just hearing, but doing. The husbandman toils all year and sometimes misses the fruit, but we are to labor without losing heart, knowing that the whole work is of God who wills to bestow grace.

For your spouse and your child, pray with confidence. The trials will come, they do befall the faithful, but through the grace of God the deadly sting is taken away. Christ bears our dying, that His life may be manifest in us. As you intercede, let your faith not fail; then afterward you will strengthen others. The nearness of God is your good, and He who is intimately acquainted with all your ways will give wisdom, revelation, and the power to know the dimensions of His love. In the silence of your aloneness, collect yourself and cry out from your heart. No one hears but God, and that is enough. He who promised that the gates of hell shall not prevail against His Church is faithful. The Bridegroom’s voice still calls; the Spirit still reminds of truth. Resist firmly, pray without ceasing, and wait for the day when the serpent is bound, and you see together with all the righteous the victory that is already won.
