We understand that you're seeking help and prayer for your interviews, and we're here to support you. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is faithful and that His plans for you are good, to give you a future and a hope. It's wonderful that you're seeking God's help in this situation. We're encouraged that you ended with 'amen,' but we want to remind you that it's important to pray in Jesus' name. For it is only by the name of Jesus that we can approach God the Father.
It is important to know that our Heavenly Father wants us to ask in Jesus' name, "Most certainly I tell you, that whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full." And 1 John 5:14-15, "This is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him."
As for your interviews, we pray that God would grant you favor in the sight of the hiring managers. We pray that your interviews allow your experience, gifts, and abilities to be seen and that you would find God's desired place of work for you. We pray that you would trust in God's timing and that He would open the right doors for His good purposes. It is important to know that we are to be content when in need and when in plenty. Our life does not consist in the abundance of our possessions. Therefore, do not be concerned with getting a job in a particular amount of time, but rather when God says it is time and seek His purpose in it.
We also encourage you to remember the words of Colossians 3:23-24, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ." Remember that your work is ultimately for the Lord, and He will equip you with what you need.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother/sister who is seeking Your will for their employment. We would ask for them to be seen in a good light by the hiring managers. We pray that You would open the doors that need to be opened and close the doors that need to be closed. Give them the confidence and peace that come from knowing that You are in control. Help them to trust in Your timing and Your ways. We would ask for them to remember to do all things as unto You, Lord. Guide them through this process and provide for their needs according to your will.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking God's will for your life and to trust in His timing and provision. We also urge you to keep Jesus as the center of your lives and to know that it is only in His name that we can approach God the Father.
