Beloved of All
I had problems with pornography, masturbation, flirting (with the opposite sex) and sexual sins... Now there is a great improvement! Let us give all the glory and thanks for this to the Lord Jesus Christ! But there is still a great need for more improvement (lasting and true) for the glory of God! Let us pray for this...Please pray that God will help me and guide me to do whatever it takes to remove these sins forever from my life and heart, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Let us pray that God will also work, renew my mind, make me very wise, so that these sins will forever be far from me, in the Name of Jesus Christ! Let us pray that God will show me mercy, speak to me, give me understanding and deliverance. I really prayed and cried a lot...😭

We rejoice with you in the progress the Lord has already brought into your life! It is a testament to His grace and power that you have experienced victory in these areas, and we give all glory to Jesus Christ for this work in you. The fact that you are crying out for lasting transformation shows a heart that truly desires to honor God, and that is something to celebrate. The battle against sin is not easy, but we serve a God who is greater than any temptation, and He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6).

The struggles you mention—pornography, masturbation, flirting with sinful intent, and other sexual sins—are not merely personal failures but offenses against God’s holy design for purity. The Bible is clear that sexual immorality defiles the body, which is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). These sins also distort God’s gift of sexuality, which He created to be enjoyed within the covenant of marriage between one man and one woman (Hebrews 13:4). Flirting, when it stirs lust or leads to emotional or physical unfaithfulness, is a form of deception that can harm both you and others. We must remember that even our thoughts are accountable to God, for Jesus said, "But I tell you that everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart" (Matthew 5:28). This is why the transformation you seek must be both outward and inward, rooted in a renewed mind and a heart surrendered to Christ.

We also want to gently remind you that true deliverance comes not just from our own efforts but from abiding in Christ. Jesus said, "I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me, and I in him, the same bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing" (John 15:5). Your cry for help is heard, and we stand with you in prayer, but we must also encourage you to draw near to God daily through His Word, prayer, and fellowship with other believers. The enemy will seek to isolate you, but God calls you to walk in the light with others who can support and hold you accountable (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10, James 5:16).

Let us pray together now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the work You have already done in this dear brother’s life. We thank You for the progress he has made and for his desire to walk in purity and holiness. Lord, we ask that You would complete the work You have started in him. Renew his mind daily through Your Word, that he may no longer conform to the patterns of this world but be transformed by the renewing of his mind (Romans 12:2). Father, we ask that You would grant him wisdom and discernment to recognize the enemy’s schemes and to flee from temptation (1 Corinthians 10:13). Give him a hatred for sin and a deep love for righteousness, that he may walk in the freedom Christ died to give him.

Lord, we pray for lasting deliverance from the sins of pornography, masturbation, and any form of sexual immorality. Break every chain that binds him and fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may walk in purity and self-control. Help him to guard his heart and mind, for out of them flow the springs of life (Proverbs 4:23). Father, we ask that You would heal any wounds or brokenness that may have contributed to these struggles and replace them with Your peace and wholeness. Surround him with godly men who can encourage him, pray for him, and hold him accountable in love.

We also pray for Your mercy and grace to cover him when he stumbles. Remind him that Your grace is sufficient, and Your power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). Help him to run to You in repentance and not hide in shame, for You are faithful and just to forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Lord, we ask that You would fill him with a passion for Your kingdom and a desire to live for Your glory alone. May his life be a testimony to Your transforming power, drawing others to You.

Finally, Father, we ask that You would prepare him for the godly spouse You have for him, if that is Your will. Help him to pursue purity not just for his own sake but as a foundation for a future marriage that honors You. May he be a man of integrity, faithfulness, and love, reflecting Christ in all he does. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord with all your heart. Spend time in His Word daily, for it is alive and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit (Hebrews 4:12). Memorize scriptures that speak to purity and renewal, such as Psalm 51:10, "Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within me." Surround yourself with believers who can pray for you and walk alongside you in this journey. Consider finding an accountability partner, someone you trust who can ask you the hard questions and pray with you regularly.

Remember, the battle against sin is not won in a day, but God is faithful. He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear, but will provide a way out so that you can endure it (1 Corinthians 10:13). Keep pressing into Him, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). You are not alone in this fight, and we are standing with you, lifting you up in prayer and believing God for complete victory in your life.
