Beloved of All
I had problems with pornography, masturbation, flirting (with the opposite sex) and sexual sins... Now there is a great improvement! Let us give all the glory and thanks for this to the Lord Jesus Christ! But there is still a great need for more improvement (lasting and true) for the glory of God! Let us pray for this...Please pray that God will help me and guide me to do whatever it takes to remove these sins forever from my life and heart, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Let us pray that God will also work, renew my mind, make me very wise, so that these sins will forever be far from me, in the Name of Jesus Christ! Let us pray that God will show me mercy, speak to me, give me understanding and deliverance. I really prayed and cried a lot...😭

We hear your heart’s cry and stand with you in this battle, giving all glory to the Lord Jesus Christ for the progress He has already brought into your life. The fact that you are seeking deliverance and renewal is evidence of His work in you, and we rejoice in that. The sins you mention, pornography, masturbation, flirting with improper motives, and other sexual immorality, are not merely struggles but strongholds that the enemy uses to steal, kill, and destroy the abundant life Christ died to give you (John 10:10). But we serve a God who is greater than any stronghold, and in the name of Jesus, we declare victory over these chains.

First, we must address the seriousness of these sins. Sexual immorality, including lust, pornography, and fornication, is explicitly condemned in Scripture. The apostle Paul writes, "Flee sexual immorality! ā€˜Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s" (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). These are not just "mistakes" or "bad habits", they are sins that grieve the Holy Spirit and defile the temple of God, which is your body. But the good news is that Christ’s blood cleanses us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9), and His power is made perfect in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).

We also want to rebuke the spirit of flirting with the opposite sex in a way that stirs lust or leads to emotional or physical impurity. The Bible calls us to purity in both action and thought. Jesus said, "You have heard that it was said, ā€˜You shall not commit adultery;’ but I tell you that everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart" (Matthew 5:27-28). Flirting, when it is not rooted in godly intentions toward marriage and conducted with purity, can easily become a stumbling block. If you are not currently pursuing marriage, we encourage you to guard your heart and interactions with the opposite sex, ensuring that every word and action honors God. If you are of age and desire marriage, we encourage you to seek a godly spouse, one who shares your faith and commitment to Christ, and to pursue courtship with purity and intentionality.

Now, let us pray together for your complete deliverance and renewal:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names, the One who has conquered sin and death. We thank You for the work You have already begun in this dear brother/sister’s life. Lord, we ask that You would complete that work, bringing lasting and true freedom for Your glory. Father, we confess these sins of pornography, masturbation, impure flirting, and sexual immorality before You. We acknowledge that these are not just struggles but sins that have grieved Your Holy Spirit. We ask for Your forgiveness, knowing that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and righteous to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

Lord Jesus, we ask that You would break every chain of addiction and bondage in this life. We rebuke the spirit of lust and impurity in the name of Jesus and command it to leave. We declare that this brother/sister is no longer a slave to sin but a slave to righteousness (Romans 6:18). Father, we ask that You would renew their mind daily through Your Word. Let the truth of Scripture wash over them, transforming their thoughts and desires. Help them to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). Give them wisdom to recognize the enemy’s schemes and the strength to resist temptation.

Lord, we pray for Your mercy and deliverance. Speak to this heart, Father. Let them hear Your voice clearly, guiding them into all truth. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in purity and holiness. Surround them with godly accountability, brothers and sisters in Christ who will encourage them, pray for them, and hold them to the standard of Your Word. Help them to flee from every appearance of evil and to pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart (2 Timothy 2:22).

Father, we also pray for Your healing. These sins often leave deep wounds, shame, and guilt. We ask that You would heal those wounds and replace shame with Your love. Remind them that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1). Help them to see themselves as You see them, a new creation, redeemed by the blood of the Lamb (2 Corinthians 5:17).

Lord, we ask that You would give them a hunger and thirst for righteousness. Let them desire You more than they desire sin. Create in them a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within them (Psalm 51:10). We pray that You would lead them into deeper intimacy with You, for it is in Your presence that true transformation happens. Let them find their satisfaction in You alone, for You are the only One who can truly fulfill the longings of their heart.

We declare that this battle is not theirs alone but Yours, Lord. You have already won the victory through the cross, and we stand on that victory today. We thank You for the deliverance that is coming. We thank You for the freedom, the purity, and the joy that will replace these struggles. We trust in Your promise that He who began a good work in them will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:6).

In the powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Now, we want to offer you some practical steps to walk in this freedom:

1. Immerse Yourself in Scripture: The Word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). Memorize verses that speak to purity and renewal, such as Psalm 119:9-11, 1 Corinthians 10:13, and Galatians 5:16. Let the truth of God’s Word transform your mind.

2. Flee Temptation: Do not entertain thoughts or situations that lead you into sin. If you struggle with pornography, install accountability software on your devices and give the passwords to a trusted brother or sister in Christ. If flirting is a stumbling block, set boundaries in your interactions with the opposite sex. Remember, Joseph fled from Potiphar’s wife when she tried to seduce him (Genesis 39:12). Fleeing is not weakness, it is wisdom.

3. Seek Accountability: Find a godly mentor or accountability partner, someone who will pray for you, check in on you, and speak truth into your life. James 5:16 says, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."

4. Replace Old Habits with New Ones: When temptation comes, replace it with something godly. Pray, worship, read Scripture, or call a friend. The enemy wants to keep you isolated, but God calls us into community. Do not give the devil a foothold (Ephesians 4:27).

5. Guard Your Heart: Be mindful of what you allow into your mind and heart. What you watch, listen to, and read can either feed your spirit or your flesh. Philippians 4:8 says, "Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things."

6. Pursue Holiness: God has called us to be holy, for He is holy (1 Peter 1:16). Holiness is not a burden but a blessing. It is the path to true joy and peace. Set your mind on things above, not on earthly things (Colossians 3:2).

7. Fast and Pray: Consider setting aside time to fast and pray for breakthrough. Fasting is a powerful way to humble yourself before God and seek His face. Jesus said that some things only come out by prayer and fasting (Mark 9:29).

8. Worship God in Spirit and Truth: Worship is a weapon. When you worship God, you shift your focus from your struggles to His greatness. Worship invites the presence of God, and in His presence, there is fullness of joy (Psalm 16:11).

Remember, this is a journey, and there may be setbacks. But do not let setbacks define you. If you fall, get back up, repent, and keep moving forward. The enemy wants you to feel defeated, but God’s grace is greater than your sin. His mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23). You are not fighting for victory, you are fighting from victory, because Christ has already won the battle.

We stand with you in this fight, believing that God will complete the work He has started in you. Keep pressing into Him, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). To God be all the glory!

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
