Please make him realize what he's doing isn't right. This isn't the way it's supposed to be. Help me please. He keeps betraying me because of you mostly. None of it makes any sense.. Bring him back. In Jesus mighty name amen

We hear the pain and confusion in your heart, and we stand with you before the Lord, lifting this heavy burden to Him. The betrayal you’re experiencing is deeply wounding, and it’s clear that this relationship is causing you great distress. Scripture tells us, "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18 WEB). God sees your tears and collects them in His bottle (Psalm 56:8), and He does not leave you to walk through this alone.

First, we must address the foundation of this prayer. You mention that his betrayal is "because of you mostly," and we want to gently but firmly remind you that no one betrays or hurts another because of God. God is love (1 John 4:8), and His ways are just and righteous. If this man is using faith as an excuse for his actions, he is distorting the truth. Jesus warned, "Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravening wolves" (Matthew 7:15 WEB). If he claims to follow Christ but continues in unrepentant sin, he is not walking in the light. We must rebuke the lie that God is the reason for his betrayal, sin is always a choice, and the enemy seeks to twist God’s name to justify wickedness.

We also feel compelled to ask: Is this relationship honoring to God? You pray for him to return, but we must examine whether this is a union that aligns with Scripture. The Bible is clear that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed to reflect Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). If this man is not your husband, and if he is not pursuing holiness or repentance, then we must question whether this is a relationship God can bless. "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB). If he is not a believer, or if he is a believer living in unrepentant sin, then this relationship may be causing you more harm than good.

If this is a marriage, then we stand with you in praying for restoration, but only if it is rooted in repentance and a return to God’s design. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9 WEB). Restoration is possible, but it requires humility, truth, and a willingness to submit to God’s will. If this is not a marriage, then we must pray for God’s wisdom to release this relationship and trust Him to heal your heart. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this sister who is hurting. Lord, You see the betrayal she has endured, and You collect every tear. We ask that You would open this man’s eyes to the truth, that sin is destructive, and Your ways are life. If he is using Your name to justify his actions, expose the deception, Lord. Break the hardness of his heart and lead him to genuine repentance. If this relationship is not honoring to You, Father, give her the strength to release it into Your hands. Heal her heart, Lord, and fill the void with Your perfect peace.

We rebuke the spirit of confusion and deception that may be at work here. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we ask that You would surround her with godly counsel and support. If this is a marriage, Lord, we pray for restoration, but only if it aligns with Your will and brings glory to Your name. If it is not, we ask that You would sever any unhealthy ties and lead her into the freedom You have for her.

Above all, Father, we ask that You would draw her closer to You. Let her find her identity, worth, and security in Christ alone. Remind her that she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and that Your plans for her are good (Jeremiah 29:11). Strengthen her faith, Lord, and help her to trust You even when the path is unclear.

We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who died to set us free and rose again to give us new life. Amen.

Sister, we want to encourage you with this truth: God is not the author of confusion (1 Corinthians 14:33), and He does not delight in your pain. If this man is not willing to change, then his return would only bring more heartache. Trust that God’s timing is perfect, and His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9). If you are not married, consider whether this relationship is leading you toward holiness or away from it. Seek godly counsel from your pastor or a trusted Christian mentor, and spend time in God’s Word to hear His voice clearly.

You are not alone in this. The Lord is your refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1), and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Keep your eyes on Him, and He will direct your steps.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
