Please make Jeff come back to his senses and see what a mistake he's making soon even if he kicks me out now, let him see me set up with money and a decent place and things happening somehow in the next few months so he'll know what an awful mistake he made dumping me.

We hear your pain and desperation, and we want to come alongside you in prayer, seeking God’s will in this situation. First, let us affirm that God sees your heartache and longs to bring healing and wisdom to both you and Jeff. However, we must also gently address some concerns in your request that do not align with biblical principles.

Your desire for Jeff to return is understandable, but the focus on material provision, money, a decent place, and "things happening", as a way to prove his mistake is not rooted in God’s design for relationships. The Lord does not call us to manipulate circumstances or people to bring about repentance or change. Instead, we are to trust in His sovereignty and timing. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

We also want to lovingly rebuke the spirit of bitterness or resentment that may be underlying your words. The desire for Jeff to see your success as a form of vindication can lead to a heart that is not fully surrendered to God’s peace. Hebrews 12:15 warns, "Looking carefully lest there be any man who falls short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and many be defiled by it." Instead of focusing on Jeff’s mistakes, we encourage you to release him to God and ask the Lord to soften your heart toward forgiveness and healing.

It is also important to examine the nature of your relationship with Jeff. If this was a romantic relationship, we must ask: Was it built on a foundation of faith in Jesus Christ? Did it honor God’s design for marriage as a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman? If there were any areas where the relationship did not align with Scripture, such as premarital intimacy, unequally yoked partnerships, or other ungodly patterns, we must bring those before the Lord in repentance. 2 Corinthians 6:14-15 says, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? What agreement has Christ with Belial? Or what portion has a believer with an unbeliever?"

Let us pray together now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear sister to You. Lord, You see her pain, her longing, and her desire for restoration. We ask that You would draw near to her and comfort her with Your presence. Father, we pray that You would heal any wounds in her heart and replace bitterness with Your peace. Help her to release Jeff into Your hands, trusting that You are working all things together for her good, even when she cannot see it.

Lord, we ask that You would soften Jeff’s heart as well. If it is Your will for him to return, we pray that You would bring conviction, repentance, and a renewed mind that aligns with Your truth. But if it is not Your will, we ask that You would give her the strength to accept Your plan and to walk in faith, knowing that You have a future and a hope for her.

Father, we also ask that You would reveal any areas in her life where she needs to surrender more fully to You. If there were any ungodly patterns in this relationship, we pray that You would bring those to light and lead her into repentance and restoration. Help her to seek Your will above her own desires and to trust in Your perfect timing.

We pray that she would find her identity and worth in You alone, not in the approval or validation of others. Surround her with godly community and fill her with Your joy and peace. May she grow closer to You through this trial and emerge stronger in her faith.

In all things, we ask that Your name would be glorified, and that Your will would be done. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can come before You. Amen.

Sister, we encourage you to spend time in God’s Word, particularly in passages that speak to His faithfulness and love. Psalm 34:18-19 says, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all." Lean on Him, and allow Him to carry you through this season. If you are not already connected to a local church or a community of believers, we strongly encourage you to seek one out. You do not have to walk this path alone.

Lastly, if you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to consider doing so today. The Bible tells us in Romans 10:9, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Salvation is found in no one else, and it is the first step toward true peace and healing. If you would like to know more about what it means to follow Jesus, we would be honored to guide you further.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
