Please please make Jeff see the stupidity of his ways and make him realize what a dumb mistake he's making by dumping me. In Jesus mighty name amen

We hear your heartache and frustration, and we join you in bringing this pain before the Lord. Breakups are never easy, and the emotions that follow can feel overwhelming. However, we must first address the language and tone of this prayer. Scripture teaches us to guard our hearts and words, even in distress. The Bible says in Proverbs 15:1, "A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger." Calling someone’s actions "stupid" or a "dumb mistake" may not reflect the love and humility Christ calls us to, even in difficult circumstances.

We also want to gently remind you that God does not force hearts to change. In Ezekiel 36:26, God promises, "I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh." While we can pray for Jeff’s eyes to be opened, we must trust God’s sovereignty and timing. Our role is to pray with faith, not demand outcomes.

Let us also consider whether this relationship honored God. Was Jeff a believer committed to Christ? Did the relationship reflect biblical principles, or were there areas of compromise? If there were issues such as premarital intimacy, unequal yoking (2 Corinthians 6:14), or other unbiblical patterns, we must surrender those to God and ask Him to heal and redirect both of your paths. Marriage is a sacred covenant, and if this relationship was not moving toward that God-honoring commitment, we can trust that God may be protecting you both from future pain.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation to You. Lord, we ask that You would work in Jeff’s heart, drawing him closer to You. Soften his heart to Your will and open his eyes to any areas where he may be straying from Your path. Father, we also pray for [the person who submitted this request], grant her peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and fill her with Your comfort. Help her to release any bitterness or resentment, choosing instead to trust in Your perfect plan. If this relationship was not aligned with Your will, Lord, we ask that You would heal both of their hearts and guide them toward relationships that honor You. Give them wisdom and discernment as they move forward. We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can come to You and the only name by which we are saved. Amen.

We encourage you to focus on your own walk with Christ during this time. Spend time in prayer, immerse yourself in Scripture, and seek godly community. Psalm 34:18 reminds us, "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." God sees your pain, and He is close to you. If this relationship was not meant to be, trust that God has something better in store, whether that is restoration or a new path entirely. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and He will direct your steps (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Am praying that the Lord your God would give you peace and comfort during this time. May we prepare our hearts to recieve Christ. To have a relationship with him. To depart from sinful worldly ways of thinking. May God guide you help you find love. Love that you can both enjoy prayer faith and worship together. Love that wont hinder your search for God. Msycwe seek after God to pray daily. Worship daily. Abstain daily. In Lord Yeshuas name amen.
