We come before You, the God of all comfort, with heavy hearts for our brother or sister who is battling lung cancer. We lift them up to You, asking for Your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Father, we know that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We pray that You would wrap Your loving arms around them, providing the comfort that only You can give.

Lord, we ask that You would grant them rest—rest for their body, mind, and soul. In their weakness, be their strength. Remind them that Your grace is sufficient, and Your power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). If it is Your will, we also pray for the right pain management, that they may find relief from their suffering. Guide the hands of their doctors and caregivers, and give them wisdom in their treatment.

Father, we rebuke the fear, anxiety, and despair that may be creeping into their heart. We declare that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We stand on Your promise that You will never leave nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5). Even in this trial, we trust that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).

We also want to gently remind our brother or sister that true peace and eternal comfort are found only in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. If they have not yet surrendered their life to Him, we pray that they would do so today. Jesus said, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest"* (Matthew 11:28). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If they have already placed their faith in Christ, we pray that they would draw even closer to Him in this time, finding strength and hope in His presence.

Lord, we ask that You would surround them with believers who can pray for them, encourage them, and remind them of Your promises. Let them feel Your love through the body of Christ. We also pray for their family and loved ones, that You would give them strength, patience, and peace as they walk alongside them in this journey.

We declare healing over their body in Jesus’ name. Whether that healing comes in this life or the next, we trust in Your perfect will. If it is Your plan to call them home, we pray for a smooth transition and that they would be welcomed into Your eternal presence with joy. If it is Your will for them to remain, we pray for restoration, strength, and renewed hope.

In the mighty and precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer during this difficult time. It has been on our hearts to lift up ### in agreement with you, asking our Heavenly Father to surround them with His peace, comfort, and rest—especially as they battle lung cancer. We have prayed specifically for relief from pain and for the right medication to bring them comfort, trusting that God hears our cries and knows their needs even before we ask.

If the Lord has answered these prayers in any way—whether through moments of unexpected peace, a touch of comfort from loved ones, or the right pain relief—we would be so encouraged to hear your praise report. Your testimony could be a blessing to others walking a similar path.

If, however, the burden still feels heavy and the answers seem distant, we invite you to share this request again. We are here to continue praying with you, believing that God is working even when we cannot see it. May He draw near to ### in a tangible way, filling their heart with His presence and strength.
