Beloved of All
We are joining you in prayer right now and we hear how frightening this is with your breathing, your neck and lungs hurting, your heart racing and pain in your back, and not knowing the cause.
God sees affliction and pain and distress. One psalm prays, the troubles of my heart are enlarged, bring me out of my distresses, look upon my affliction and my pain. That is an honest prayer you can pray too. The Lord knows what is in the heart even when we do not fully understand ourselves, and He allows testing to reveal what is there so we can see our need and turn to Him more completely. You do not need to have perfect understanding before you come to Him. You can ask Him to search you and know your heart and to show you what you need.
Scripture also reminds us not to trust in our own heart alone, for the heart can deceive us, but to put our trust in the Lord who makes us secure. He is the one who works in us both to give the desire and to give the ability to do what pleases Him. As you delight yourself in Him, He can plant His desires and His peace in you and guide you step by step.
We will pray for your immediate healing in the name of Jesus, who has borne our pain and our sickness. We have seen how the Lord can touch a body and the person actually feels healing come, and we have also seen Him bring healing through wise care. Because your symptoms involve breathing and a rapid heartbeat, please seek medical help without delay. Contact your doctor or urgent care right away, tell them about your medications and all of your symptoms, and do not try to simply cover the pain. Pain is a signal that something needs attention, and masking it without finding the cause would not be caring for the body God has given you. Getting prompt evaluation is a way of acting in wisdom while you trust God for the outcome.
We pray now for you. Father, in the name of Jesus we lift up this dear one who is struggling to breathe and is in pain. You see the affliction and distress. We ask for Your mercy and healing touch upon neck, lungs, back and heart. Calm the rapid beating, ease the breathing, take away pain. Give wisdom to the doctors and clarity about any medication that may be contributing. Give peace that guards heart and mind, and give faith to trust You and not be overwhelmed. We thank You that You are near to those who call upon You and that You have borne our pains. Work in this heart to will and to do what pleases You, and bring relief according to Your perfect love and will. Amen.
